SPECIAL REPAIRS TO INTERNAL ROADS IN CIRCLE QTRS AT DSSC WELLINGTON

Amount

M&L for repairs to potholes of not exceeding 30mm depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths etc, cutting arround edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous carpet 40mm thick, well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) and suitably rolled all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and using pressure blower and compressor for removing caked mud ect., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 kg per 10 sqm on old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 40 mm consolidated thick bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of viscosity grade VG-30, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 ton power roller laid with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2.5mm thick road marking paint with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint conforming to BS 3262 (1989), either continuous or broken lines over exisiting or new painting surface of cement or bituminous surface, laid down through road marking machine using thermoplastic material by incorporating the white glass powder for reflectivity in 100 to 150 mm width in white or golden yellow colour by using applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engr-in-Charge and in accordance with applicable specification.

S & F cat eye's (Raised Pavement marker) 100mm x 100mm x 20mm, made of tough polycarbonate body with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective lenses on two side for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry condition fixed with hot melt bitumen adhesive, fixed at suitable distance including necessary preparation complete all as specified as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
