COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE, OPERATION AND CLEANING OF SWIMMING POOLS AND SUMP AT ALTINHO AND MADGAON UNDER GE PANAJI

Supply & depute of M&O staff i.e. 1 x Fitter General Mechanic (FGM) and 01x Helper (Mate) from 0900 hours to 1700 hours in 01 General shift of 8 hours at both swimming pool i.e. Altinho and Madgaon including saturdays/ sundays/ holidays for maintainance & operation of swimming pool of undermentioned sizes to meet to the desired level of cleanliness by adding the chemicals such as PH solution and non ferrous alum as coagulant/ settling aids, soda ash, dry acid, sodium bi-alginex, chlorotex regent, TCA90 chemical through the respective dozing system with adequate quantity, desired occultation and daily cleaning of swimming pool by opearting vaccume pool suction sweeper, cleaning of bottom including deep, slope surface by under water cleaner and removing sediment, particle form bottom by using suction sweeper so as to maintain deepest point of pool must be visible at all times without disturbing the swimming pool schedule of operation, quality of water to be checked as directed by Engr-in-charge frequently complete all as directed. Note: T&P such as necessary equipments for under water cleaner, brushes, breathing arrangements shall be provided by the contractor, chemicals not covered under schedule shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Location: (a) Altinho (swimming pool of size 48 mtr x 22.5 mtr depth upto 5 mtr, combined diving and swimming) (b) 3 MTR, Madgaon (Swimming pool of size 25 mtr x 16 mtr depth upto 4 mtr, combined diving and swimming) Following water standard paramenters to be maintained on pool round the clock:- PH 7.4 to 7.6 Free chlorine - 0.5 to 1.0 PPM Total alkalinity- 75 PPM minimum, TDS - 500PPM minium, total Hardness - 200 PPM minimum Note: (i) Any damage to the department assets handed over for cleaning due and maintaining of swimming pool to negligence of firm shall be made good by the firm wthout any extra cost to the department (ii) T&P material, labour, eleement involved in cleaning shall be provided by firm wtihout any extra cost to the deptt.

Dismantling all the pipe connections from the filter media drum and removing the legs from the foundation and place the entire filter media drum horizontally for repairs, then remove all the round/ square rusted/ corroded legs and replace with new square legs made up of ERW mild steel square tubing of size 150x 150mm and thickness of 10mm, heavy duty (C class) with necessary welding. After replacing the rusted/ corroded legs, the entire filter media drum to be re-installed vertically and reconnect all the dismantled pipe connection in its original position complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) All safety precuations/ measures to be taken while taking down and re-installing the entire filter media drum. (ii) Rates incl addl manpower/ crane for taking down and re-installing the filter media drum. (iii) Provision of new square legs and PCC foundation shall be measured and paid serparately.

Supply and fix in repairs square legs made of ERW mild steel square tubing of size 150x150mm and thickness of 10mm, heavy duty (Class C) welded to the base of filter media MS drum up to 750mm length and other end to base plate of 10mm thickness with all fittings and fixtures incl bolt & nuts , wahsers, etc complete including taking out the old unserviceable round/ square MS legs all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

M & L for taking out old media from filter at Altinho/ Madgaon swimming pool complete of any size and stacking where directed , cleaning of MS pressure sand filter by scrapping with the help of hard brushes , chipping & removing rusted scaling and physically cleaning of surface by dest cleaning / brooms silt sludge and other deposits from inner side, collecting and taking them out and deposit out the installation at a distence not less than 50 mtrs. Clean and washing properly with bleaching mixed water checking for leakage, strengthining the vessel by welding of joints if requierd to arrest leakage etc , applying two coats of marine paint ( Anti - fouling ) on entire surface ( inner and outer) over a coat of red oxide primer including MS pipes, valves, base frames etc testing and commissioning after completion complete all as specified and as directed . Note : - Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of welding, jointing with suitable MS plates of requierd size & existing thickness as specified including bolts , nuts , washers and packing materials and other misc items requierd at site complete all as specified.

Material and labour for replacing quartz sand filter media of superior grade and quality of following sizes in the existing filter including testing and regulating for proper filtering of pool water complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix 150 mm dia, cast iron butterfly valves with both end flanged suitable for MS pipes , with requierd gaskets , bolts & nuts , washers etc including taking out the old unserviceable valves coplete all as specifed and as directed . Make : Leader / Kirloskar / Swastik Note : Quoted rate is deemed to be inclussive of suitable heavy duty MS flanges welded to the pipes for fixing of valves / NRV's etc as required at site.

Supply and fix 150mm dia, cast iron sluice valve PN-1.6 confirming to IS 14846/2000, ISI Mark with MS spindle and iron wheel head with both ends flanged with new rubber gasket, bolts and nuts including dismantiling of old unserviciable sluice valve fixed at any location all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 150 mm dia, cast iron non return sluice valve ball type suitable for mild steel pipes, with required gaskets, bolt & nuts, washers etc including taking down the old unserviceable valves complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of suitable heavy duty MS flanges welded to the pipes for fixing of valves/ NRV's etc as required at site .

Supply and fix 150 mm dia, cast iron foot valve flanged type suitable for 150 mm dia mild steel pipe with requierd gaskets, bolt and nuts, washers etc. including taking out the old unsersviceable foot valve complete all as specified and as directed . Make : Leader / Kirloskar / Swastik . Note : - Qutoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of suitable heavy duty MS flanges welded to the pipes for fixing of vlaves / NRV's etc as requierd at site. Supply and fix 40 mm dia, Plastic, foot valve suitable for 40 mm dia with requierd gaskets, bolt and nuts, washers etc. including taking out the old unsersviceable foot valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix factory made headers for water filtration plants made up of 50 mm and 25 mm mild steel pipe with brass filter nozzels , strainers and accessories suitable for the existing filter media with requierd fittings and fixtures etc. including taking out the old unserviceable header with filter nozzles complete all as specified and as directed . Note : - Header with filter nozzles to match as per existing site.

Supply and fix pressure gauge 0- 10Kg / Cm dia size 150 mm dia with suitable connection and for tapping arrangements in mild steel pipe 100 mm dia witrh required fittings and fixtures including taking out the old unserviceable pressure gauge complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply and fix 50 mm dia, 30 m length, standard duty, K series, PVC suction hose pipe, smooth outer cover, rigid PVC helix, phthalate free, working pressure 45 psi at 104 deg F and with mild steel clamps for tightening including taking out the old unserviceable hose pipe coplete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix Aggetator motor 3 phase with SS blade not less than 750mm suitable for fixing in the existing Chlorine dozing system with necessary wiring including taking down existing motor complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in cement mortar 1:4 for foundation coping flooring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only under mentioned tools/ plants to maintain cleaning of swimming pool at Altinho/ Margaon.

Material and labour for Cleaning of UG sump of any size and depth located at swimming pool with pump and dewatering the balance sludge with man power and T&P (Tools and plants) such as pump set for De-watering, tripod, chain pully, rope, steel bucket, phawara etc all required for completion of Job for cleaning upto bottom of the sump/ tanketc and taking out all clay/sludge/mud/stone pieces and other material deposited in the UG sump/ tank during course of time and removing deposited material to a distance from 50 mtr of the site including cleaning at Altinho and 3 MTR, Madgaon swimming pool complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: All dewatering pumps accessories includes in Item rate, During the process of cleaning sewage vechile to be provided by the contractor complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair of swimming pool fountain for problems like crack, leak by applying a stone filler, concrete patch or epoxy specailly desinged for fountains material and to smooth the damage, removing clogs by using a thin tool to gently deslodge blockages from the nozzle or water feature. After repairing for leaks, cracks, apply a water proof sealant desgined for stone and concrete to prevent water losses. Cleaning of fountain to prevent algae from forming and to keep fountain water clean every 1-3 months using a stiff-bristle brush or putty knife to remove dirt, debris, and sediment fornm the fountain's surface.. Before start of work turn off the fountains pump and drain the water form te fountain at Altinho and 3 MTR, Madgaon swimming pool complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: All dewatering pumps accessories includes in Item rate, During the process of cleaning sewage vechile to be provided by the contractor complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnectiing electric connection from electric motor and starter and insulating with insulation tape both side ends, dismantling motor from base after opening nut, bolts , and transporting from site to workshop and back ( distance not more than 10 km) for repair, cutting burnt out winding cleaning startor of motor for rewinding with and including material and labour for rewinding 10 HP three phase induction motor with copper emameld wire of existing gauge and Nos of turns , heat varnishing connecting complete installed at site including necessary connected works complete all specified and directed.

Material and labour for servicing to starter panel board at Madgaon swimming pool complete by replacing indicator lamps, cotactors, single phase preveters, control switches, connectors, etc. Including necessary wiring and connecting complete all as specified and directed . Note : Items to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately .

Supply and fix LED indicator lamps suitable to be fixed in the existing stater panel .

Supply and fix contactor 4 pole, AC 1 rating 40 Amp, suitable to be fixed in the existing starter panel of 10 HP with necessary wiring complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix overload relay suitable to be fixed in the existing 10 HP starter panel with necessary wiring complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply and fix single phasing preventer, 3 phase, 415 VAC suitable to be fixed in the existing starter panel of 10 HP with necessary wiring complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix moving iron analog panel meter AC Voltmeter ( 0-500 ) volts suitable to be fixed in the existing starter panel with necessary wiring complete all as specified and as directed .
