SPL REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT OF CERTAIN BLDG IN KLP (881) AND SPL REPAIR TO BLDG NO T-22 AND T-29 (6 MADRAS) AT GULPUR UNDER AGE B/R-II OF GE 881 EWS

B&R Portion:- Taking down existing tarfelt including tiles and demolition of concrete & screed bed complete from roof surfaces including parapets and lowering without disturbing the existing RCC roof slab and removing the same to a distance exc. 1.50 Km and n exc. 5.0 Km including roughening of old concrete surface of roof by wire brushing and cleaning the surface to remove all loose dust etc and , complete all as specified and as directed.

Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, including parapet comprising with the following courses of treatment/specification including ponding test as specified :-

Applying a coat of cement slurry @ 3Kg cement/sqm on cleaned surface of RCC roof slab complete all as specified and directed.

PCC type B-0, 1:2:4 (using12.50mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in padding to roof slab and finishing surface smooth and even to maintain levelling on existing slab complete all as specified and directed.

10mm thick screed bed or bedding layers in cement mortar 1:4 on roof slab including parapet with mixing of liquid water proofing compound @ 200ml per 50 Kg of cement bag complete all as specified and as directed.

Applying bitumenous primer conforming to IS-3384 @ 0.3 ltrs per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parapet surface.

Applying a coat of hot blown VG 20 paving grade (60-80 penetration) bitumen conforming to IS-3384 @ 1.20Kg per Sqm over primer surfaces of roof slab including parapet surface.

Providing a layer of polymeric water proofing membrane ISI marked laid with overlaps, bonded with hot blown bitumen with torch application method including end overlaps not less than 150mm and side lap 75mm, membrane shall be five layered with centre core as 90 microns high density polyethylene film, minimum weight of membrane shall be 3.60Kg/ Sqm, overlaps shall be sealed with suitable adhesive as per manufacturer,s instructions, polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 60cm (min) and inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bitumen coat shall be measured and paid for separately

Applying a coat of hot blown VG 20 paving grade (60-80 penetration) bitumen conforming to IS-3384 @ 1.20Kg per Sqm over APP membrane and blinded with dry fine sand @0.50Kg/sqm dusted over bitumen coat complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on wall of any desription incl racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.
