Replacing the existing wood work by supplying, manufacturing and fixing of Teak wood frames and architraves for doors, windows, ventilators, etc., made out of best quality teak wood scantlings with necessary holdfast/anchor fasters, wooden plugs and screws for fixing it to the various openings including removing the old door frame / shutter with all fittings, refixing the shutter to the new frame, finishing the sides with plastering white/colour washing to match with existing surface, painting the new wood with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc., and returning the retrieved old materials to GSO civil maintenance stores, etc., all complete as per the specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing the tables and chairs by repairing the damaged portions by nailing, strengthening the joints using adhesive of Fevicol including cost of nails, adhesives etc., all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Cost of new wood if any required will be paid under relevant item (or) retrieved old wood will be supplied at free of cost)

Providing and fixing heavy quality 600mm CP Towel rail of approved make with wall flange including fixing with suitable CP screws, returning the retrieved wornout fittings to GSO Civil maintenance stores, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing Marble / Granite work gang saw cut mirror polished, (pre moulded and prepolished slab) machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size of approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints treated with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, etc., including rubbing, curing, finishing, providing holes of required diameter, providing opening to fix counter basins, providing grooves wherever required, etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications. (Note: The marble/Granite stones slab shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.)

Providing and fixing 14-16mm thick White Agaria Marble Stone slab table rubbed, exposed edges rounded and polished of required size and fixed in urinal partitions, shelves above wash basin, etc., by cutting a chase of appropriate width with chase cutter and embedding the stone into the chase with epoxy grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) finished smooth, front face polishing, rounding the edges, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing Dual Reflective Sun Control Film of Garware or approved equivalent make over the existing windows including cleaning the glass, pasting the films over glass without void / air gaps using approved adhesive, cleaning, etc., all complete as per manufacturer specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Fabrication and fixing of doors, windows, ventilator frames, window shutters, ventilator shutters using the available old wood by cutting to required length, jointing, fabricating to required size and fixing with necessary hold fasts including removing the old painting, removing the damaged wood works, finishing the wall surfaces, white washing, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of wood primer, etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing, modifying the following size of panelled door shutters using old wood/retrived panelled doors and fixing including removing the damaged styles, rails, panels if any and fabricating with available old wood to required size and shape, removing the old painting, fixing in position with all required furniture fittings, painting two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing, modifying the following size of door frame using old wood/retrived door frames and fixing including removing the damaged existing door frame, fabricating the frame with available old wood to required size and shape, fixing in position with holdfast if required, painting one coat synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Attending complaints on minor repair works in doors, windows, ventilators of various types by servicing the fittings and replacing the wornout fittings if any, refixing the same, and also other carpentry related complaints if any etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. [Note: Cost of fittings will be paid for separately under relevant item]

Supplying and fixing in position single leaf/double leaves of following thick non decorative type factory made Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) solid door shutters of approved make having density of 600 - 800 Kg/Cum, water absorption less than 1% and tensile strength greater than 12 MPa including provi

ding aluminium lipping / Teak wood all-round if required, fixing the lipping with suitable adhesive, fixing required hardware fittings, fixing door using required screws, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. [Note: Cost of Door frame, hardware fittings and Aluminium / Teak wood lipping will be paid for separately under relevant item.]

Providing and fixing in position of 10mm thick Cement bonded pre-laminated particle board of `Bison Lams' or approved equivalent make panels prelaminated with decorative lamination on both sides for door shutters, partitions, cupboard shutters, sliding shutters, etc., including cutting to required shape and size, making as per drawing with Anodized aluminium frame alround with lock rails at the centre for each leaf, fixing in structural opening, providing teakwood lipping alround for sliding shutters, etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. (Note:- Aluminium frame work will be paid for seperately under relevant item.)

Repairing, re-aligning and making good of aluminium doors, windows by removing making all modification and refixing in its original position including servicing and replacing gaskets, cleats, pins etc., wherever necessary etc., all as directed. (Note: The Rate quoted shall be for each shutter)

Aluminum Doors

Providing and fixing 2mm thick vinyl flooring of Polyfloor/LG/ Armstorng or approved equivalent make for flooring and skirting including preparing the surface as per manufactures instruction, fixing with synthetic resin of fevicol SR 998 or approved equivalent make, finishing the surface etc., all as per manufactures instruction and as directed by Engineer - in - charge. Note: 1) The vinyl flooring materials shall be got approved by the Engineer - in - charge before making bulk order. 2) The work shall be executed with skilled manpower as per manufacturers specification.

Providing and fixing Vertical blinds of Vista Levelor or Marvel approved equivalent make with vanes of 100mm width made of non woven polyster fabric which are suspended from the stilt travellers by self aligning vanes hooly of effective optimized system, vanes shall be coupled together by means of bead chain pivotaly attached by closing to each side of each weight including the cost of blinds, fixing in slim aluminium head railing, runners, spacers, control units, other incidental charges, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer. [Note:- Sample shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.]

Servicing the vanetion blinds/vertical blinds including removing the complete set of blinds, removing the damaged clip suspended from stilt traveller, fixing the vanes with new clip, checking the bead chains and its movement, servicing for smooth operation of blinds etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Rate shall be quoted for complete set of vanetion blind/ vertical blinds for one window)

Supplying and fixing of concealed sliding window latch for aluminium sliding window, ventilators of various sizes of make EBCO or other approved equivalent make including replacing the damaged fittings, etc., as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Fixing of old available flush door / panelled door shutters of various sizes including removing the damaged door shutters, transportation of retrieved shutter from GSO stores, fixing in position with all required furniture fittings etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- 1. Retrieved Door shutters will be issued free of cost by the department. 2. Furniture fittings shall be paid separately under relevant item.

Supplying and fixing of following furniture fittings of make 'EBCO / Godrej' or other approved make including removing the damaged fittings, fixing the new fittings with required screws, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Schedule of Quantities

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GUIDANCE OF TENDERERS

The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices.

The prices inserted in the schedule of quantities shall be inclusive of value of the work described including all cost and expenses, which may be required in and for the construction of the work described together with the general risks, liabilities and obligations not forth or implied in the documents on which the tender is to be based.

The quantities stated are to be considered approximate only and the unit prices entered in the schedule of quantities and prices shall apply only to the actual quantities measured in the completed work in accordance with the specifications.

All the materials other than those shown in schedule of supply of materials in section VII are to be arranged by the contractor and his rates should account for the same.

Rates quoted for all items in this tender shall include cost of all materials including cement and steel. Department will not supply any materials other than materials stipulated in Section - VII of the tender and as such the rates quoted must be all inclusive.
