Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soil to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting but inclusive of shoring strutting and requiring the sides of foundation.

Supplying and Filling foundation and basement with filling m sand in layers not more than 15cm . Thick well ramed, watered and compacted Complete complying with stanard specification.

Cement concrete 1 : 4: 8 mix using 40 mm HBG metal for foundation including watering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15cm thick compacting etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.

Brick work in CM 1:5 mix using country bricks ground moulded of size 83/4"x41/4"x21/4" for the following including curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications. Rate for 10m3

Supplying and fabricating and placing in position MS steel or ribbed for steel for all reinforced cement concrete works as per the design given including cost of steel and

Reinforced Cement concrete 1:11/2:3 mix using 20mm ISS metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges for mixing,laying and curing etc

Providing granolethic floor finish in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix using 10-12mm ISS metal to 25mm thick including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges for mixing, laying, curing etc complete for 10 cum.

Paving the Floor with Vitrified tiles in CM 1:3 20mm thick etc complete

Flooring with following ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 6 mm laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three M.Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)

Dadooing of walls with colour glazed tiles of size 300x200x6 mm of best quality including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges etc complete.

Weathering course in brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no crushed stone M.Sand to be used) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.5 by volume and laid over the RCC roof slab in a single layer of required slope and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water, etc., complete as per standard specification and as directed by the deparmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of PRESSED TILES of size 20 cm X 20 cm X 2 cm laid in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to I.S. at 2% by weight of cement including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges for mixing , laying ,and finishing etc complete

Plastering with CM 1 : 5, 12mm thick over the cement concrete for floor finish including curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and applying of two coats of putty of 3mm thick over the exposed RCC surface of ceiling including finishing the joints smoothy with grinding machine and the surface shall be thoroughly clean out of dust and scrubbing. The surface shall then be allowed to dry for atleadt 48 hours. It shall then be sand papered (water proof abrasive sheet) to give a smooth and even surface. Anyunevenness shall be made good by applying Ist coat of putty mixed with water on the entire surface including filling up the undulations and applying 2nd coat of putty after 6 hours of Ist coat of putty and then sand papering (waterproof abrasive sheet) the same after it is dry and finishing the surface smoothl, etc., complete complying with standard specifications and directed by the Department officers. (The rates are inclusive of hire charges for grinding machine with wheel, coat of sand paper (waterproof abrasive sheet), cost of putty blade ,labour charges for grinding the jointsand sand papering, two coat of putty,scrapping the putty area to level the surface smooth,etc.,complete). The putty should be got approved by the excutive Engineer before use on work.(Based on Sor 2023-2024) PWD Department Bulidings - chennai (Tecnical circular No. AEE / T10 /24475/201/8 dated 01.02.2019)

Emulsion two coats using approved colour pigments including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges etc complete

Painting two coats over new iron works such as steel door, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with best approved colour over the existing priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.
