Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 M deep and getting out in hard /dense soil

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 M deep but not exceeding 3.0 mtr and getting out in soft /loose soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers by aggregate of gauge 80 mm to 150 mm obtained from item No 01 above in the crater of RRS Note:- Rolling shall be carried out with 8 to 10 Ton road roller to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in -Charge. 2. The aggrgaate shall be filled in craters during the exercise carried out by AF authorities. 3. The approximate dia of filling of crater are 16 m and 6.00 m and depth are 3.00 m and 2.00 m respectively.

M&L for hard core of gauge not exceeding 63 mm deposited,spread and and levelled in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick and compacted with "Vibro Roller to true surface in the crater for RRS

Removing debries /excavated material obtained from crater to a distance exc. 1.50 KM but n exc. 5.0 KM and n. exc 1.5 m above the starting point and depositing where directed.

M&L for 200 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WMM laid in 2 layers of 100 mm each layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone, coarse aggregate of maximum size 40 mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as /trap/basalt etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1 The materials reach to destination within three hours as and when ordered . The quoted rates deemed to be included such provision. 2. If the contractor failed to deliver the above materials within time limit as specified. He shall be laible to penality @ of 20/% of quoted rate. 3. M o U (memorandum of Understanding) between contractor and plant shall be made and submitted by contractor within 15 Days from commencement of work for supply of material by plant to work site within stipulated time for entire period of contract Grading Requirement for WMM IS sieve Designation Percent passing by weight 53.00 mm - 100% 45.00 mm - 95-100% 26.50 mm - 22.40 mm - 60-80% 11.20 mm - 40-60% 4.75 mm - 25-40% 2.36 mm - 15-30% 600 micron - 8-22% 75 micron - 0- 8% Note:- To achieve above gradation mix proration as under (i) 40 mm - 30% (approx) (ii)20 mm - 25% (approx) (iii)10 mm - 10% (approx) (iv)Stone dust - 30% (approx)

Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt , M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat paving bitumen with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 150mm Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (DAC-1) in three layers 50mm each consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. The approximate proportion of graded aggregate by weight of total mix, to be blended to obtained desired premix asphaltic concrete has been given here. (i) 20 mm graded stone aggregate - 27% (approx) (ii) 10 mm graded stone aggregate - 17% (approx) (iii) 6 mm graded stone aggregate - 15% (approx) (iv)Stone dust - 39% (approx) (v) Cement - 2% (approx) (vi) Paving bitumen VG-30 /PMB-40 ( as available on near by hot mix plant ) Note:- 1 The materials reach to destination with in three hours as and when ordered . Note:- (i) Sl item No.01 to 10 of BOQ are cater for Air force exercise. (ii) The items cater at Ser No. 07 & 09 of BOQ to be reached to destination at work site within three hours as and when order to contractor by Engineer-in-charge. The rates deemed to be included for above provision in the quoted rates.

Preparation and cleaning of old bituminous / concrete painted surface etc 10cm width or girth and applying one finishing coat of white/Black, golden, yellow, runway / road marking paint 1st quality complete all as specified and directed. (Make : Shalimar paint ,Berger paint, Asian paint ).

M&L for preparing of existing concrete surfaces / plastered / unplastered surface of wall and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in red and white with alternate square panel in runway / link / dispersal / side wall area all as directed by Engineer-in Charge. (Make : Shalimar paint ,Berger paint, Asian paint ).

M&L for preparing of concrete surfaces and applying one coat of cement base paint on runway / taxi track / link / dispersal area all as directed by Engineer-in Charge .

Demolition of cement Concrete surfaces of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for pavement of taxi track / runway / Disperasl area as directed.

Demolition of brick work/ stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortor including all quions, arches, pillars etc complete all as specfied and directed .

M & L for brickwork with subclass `B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:4 etc complete all as specfied and directed.

All as per item No 16 above but for Except Brick Labour only for for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4 ) etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished fair and even without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Bricks, sub class B,laid flat, in floors / saucer drain old size bricks bedded and Jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed with 1:6 Cement mortar etc complete all as specified and directed

All as per above but for labour only for using old bricks retrieved from dismantling laid flat in saucer drain ,bedded and Jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed with 1:6 cement mortar etc complete all as specified and directed directed .

Dismantling for Bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer) Laid bedded and jointed with cement mortar comlete all as directed

M&L for painting border lines, dashes, arrow, letters etc on road pavement and likes not exceeding 10 CM wide with road marking paint ,white , golden yellow , black and all as specified and as directed Make : Shalimar paint, Berger paint, Asian paint.

M&L for M&L Cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for repair to concrete slab or pavement of existing damage pot holes surface area not exc 10 Sq Cm and depth not exc 15.00 MM to triangular / rectangular /circular /oval shape & removing all broken and loose particle to a distance exc 100 m and cleaning the surfaces with compressed air to remove dust, dirt loose particles / sand / foreign material and washing the surfaces with hydrochloric acid solution and filling with using epoxy hardener , base and quartz sand in ratio 1:2:21 mix and as directed by manufacture instruction over one coat of epoxy primer including providing necessary from work as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for repair to concrete slab or pavement by cutting existing damage pot holes to tirangular / rectangular cross-section & removing all broken and loose particle to a distance exc 100m and cleaning the surfaces with compressed air to remove dust, dirt loose particles / sand / foreign material and washing the surfaces with hydrochloric acid solution and maintaining edges by filling with epoxy hardener ,base and quartz sand in ratio 1:2:21 mix and as directed by manufacture instruction over one coat of epoxy primer including providing necessary from work as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. M&L for repair to concrete slab or pavement area exceeding 1.00 Sqm by cutting existing damage , chipped off concrete surfaces & removing all broken and loose particle to a distance exc 100 mtr and cleaning the surfaces with compressed air to remove dust, dirt loose particles / sand / foreign material and washing the surfaces with hydrochloric acid solution and providing minimum 05.00 mm thick epoxy flooring (Crazing) with using of epoxy hardener , base and quartz sand in ratio 1:2:21 mix and as directed by manufacture instruction over one coat of epoxy primer including providing necessary from work as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for raking out construction / dummy / expansion joint previously filled with sealing compound from the existing joint of runway / taxi track to required depth, cleaning by means of compressed air, application of primer on concrete controlling the depth of joint by using backup rod/debonding rod of required dia & side of joint to be make regular shape and before pouring the PU material masking tape should be used and top 12mm primed and sealed with the using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer asper manufacturers instruction all as specified and directed for the following. Cutting grass manual and removing material obtain from cutting / cleaning both side runway PTT near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note- Contractor will arrange his own 02 Nos Mazdoor man from 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM (including lunch break of 0.5 Hour at mid day) every day in week excluding sunday. ( Holiday) However department will have the right to stop the work any time even in working day due to security reasons.

S&F 20 mm thick toughened glass (i.e. 5mm thick clear toghned glass and 5mm thick black toughned glass with 10 mm spacing between both the glass) as directed to be fixed with aluminium beading and rubber gasket in aluminium frame work as in ATC Tower at the height of 18 metre etc complete all as per manufacturer instructions.

Cutting grass mechanically operated up to 50 mm to 100 mm above slasher where ever required including removing material obtain from cutting / cleaning (both side )up to 100m from the concrete edges completre all as specified and directed. Note- Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher ( set of one tractor & Jungle Jeem ) with POL & MT driver. The mechanical slasher will be in operation from 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM ( including lunch break of 0.5 Hour at mid day) every day in week excluding sunday ( Holiday) However department will have the right to stop the work any time even in working day due to security point.

Arranging JCB with POL and driver in Technical area whenever required at Airfield. JCB will be in operation from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M.

Supply & fixing in repair visible sign board of area/ size exceeding 0.70 sqm and not exc 1.80 sqm each made from 4.00 mm thick engineering grade plastic ( acralic Sheet) having monolithic structure to withstand, temperature variations from cold environment to sweltering hot conditions and to withstand high velocity winds , framed and braced with 40 mm dia PVC pipe best qualty to with stand high velocity wind pressure, with ht of bottom of board should be 45 -60 cm above the ground level with best quaility structure including excavating in post holes of size 30cmX30cmX45cm and embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and making plinth around frame of width 600 mm and length as required, including providing and applying and weather resistance coating, providing and pasting of new numerals/alphabets with retro reflective tape cutting it as computer plotter etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per above but area not exc 0.70 sqm each .

Supply and fixed in repair 4 mm thick acrylic sheet of any size as in visible sign board complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing and paste weather resistance retro reflective tape cutting , of new numericals / alphabets with it as computer plotter 64 mm or as directed stroke width etc complete all as specified and directed Note : Area shall be calculated from stroke length and width of numerals/alphabets

Cleaning of drain of any shape and size of runway by removing sludge , soil ,mud , grass and vegetation roots removing from site to distance exc 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
