Disconnecting / Opening of existing earth conductor of GI wire / GI Strip / Copper Strip etc.from the main switch board / Euipment / test point of OTM / Married accn for testing of earth value / resistance through Digital Earth Testing Meter / Equipments as required at site and as per site condition and Record the earth resitance value of each earth pit / location wise and connecting the same after testing. Note-Earth tester shall be provide by the contractor and pore the comman salt and magnesium sulphate mixture to earthing pit .

S&F earth marker made out of MS Plate of size 3 mm thick , of Surface area upto 300 Sqcm of Rectangular/Round/Triangle shape duly revited with angle iron of size 25 x4 mm ,60 cm long to indicating earth result ,date ,due date including PCC 1:2:4 Type B2 using 20 mm aggregate for grouting the amrker all as specified and directed by engineeer in charge .

M&L Painting work for Conventional earth pits (i.e. Lightening arrestor,Signal earth,Equipment earth,Power supply earth ) by two coats yellow paints all as specified and directed by engineer in charge

M&L Painting work for Chemical earth pits (i.e. Lightening arrestor,Signal earth,Equipment earth,Power supply earth ) by two coats red paints all as specified and directed by engineer in charge .

Supply only Comman salt all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply only Charcoal dust all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply only Vegitable soil all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply only Magnesium sulphate (MgSo4) all as specified and directed by engineer in charge .

Supply and fixing in repair GI tubing medium grade 25 mm dia in trenches for earth strip protection laid in floors/ wall etc.

S&F in repair GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia for earth strip protection laid in floors/ wall etc.

Repairs/replace to old broken / damaged earth pit Chamber and pit cover by replacing with PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for repair to existing earthing chamber /chamber cover and making New as per site required all as specified and directed by engineer in charge .Note: making of new chamer/cover measured in CUM

S&F in Repair Earth conductor or main earthing lead fixed on wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required and the size is 32 x 6 mm Gaivanised Iron strip.

S&F in repair PVC insulated Copper cable single core multistranded of size 25 Sq mm dia including flxible PVC conduit pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to Earth Test Point by removing wornout rusted sheet metal box and S&F Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos , 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex. head screw on the wall and all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to Copper Earth Strips by Brazing ( Gas welding) the joints in the place of nut&bolts and all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to GI Earth Strips by welding the joints in the place of nut&bolts and all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to existing earth pit by the Excavating upto 2.50 mtr depth x 1 Mtr width x 50 CM length and getting out in hard dense soil and repair the strip and rejoint with plate ,replace the charcoal & common salt,back fill compound,Vegitable soil, Refilling the external earth upto ground level and poring of water,ramming the earth surface ,removing surplus surface all as directed. Note: (i) Excavation,returning filling and Replacement of Charcoal, common salt,Vegitable soil shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.(ii) PCC Cover shall be included above quoted rate.

M & L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 cm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top level of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level surrounded form all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connection by using 25x4mm GI strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron upto test point and protected by GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore up to 7.5 Mtr connected to a main switch board or main control board and GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, 80 mm thick pre-cast RCC 1:2:4, type B-1 cover reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4 Kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 pit / chamber including all necessary excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m all as specified and as shown in Electrical Plate No3 of MES Schedule Part – I of 2009.

M & L for repairs to earth pit chamber by cleaning and removing all foreign materials from the pits, improvement to earth pits by adding adequate salt water into the pits to achieve desired earth resistance results, connecting the broken earth leads with strips/wires etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, instaltion, testing and commissioning of maintenance free and enviroinment friendly earthing complete with earth electrode set comprising of low carbon steel rod 17.2 mm dia and 3000 mm long molecular copper bonded for a thickness of 250 microns, with an exotheramically welded copper clamp and 1 bag of 30 kg loresco powder set carbon based environment friendly backfill compound and suitable copper clamp connected to coppler earth lead strip of size 20 mm x 300 by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of tinned copper / brass in addition to brazing of all joints and earth strip protected by GI pipe 40 mm bore light grade including on test point for testing purpose and connected to switch / control board upto 7.5 mtr away from earth work , PCC (1;3:6) type C1 chamber and MS sheet 5 mm thick with hinges to cover the chamber including painting and wiritng the earth value on the MS sheet cover all as applicable and as per the specification given by manufacturer all as directed. Note: more than 7.5 mtr of earth strip GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L Chemical Earthing with copper Earth plate 900x600x5 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.50 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.6 mtr below normal ground level, connected to copper earth lead strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of tinned copper / brass in addition to brazing of all joints including excavation and eatth work, GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for protection to earth lead including charcoal dust 200 Kg, common salt 200 Kg and Megnisium Sulphate 150 Kg , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 used 20 mm graded stone aggregate in chamber and mild steel angle Iron frame 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm and 40 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar both ways at 100 mm C/C GI funnel and wire mesh 25 mm bore GI pipe light grade for waterning including necessary earth work and testing complete. NOTE: (I) Earth plate shall be laid in vertical plane such a way that shorted side remains vertical. (ii) Earth plate shall have minium cover of 300 mm thick of charcoal / salt on all sides including top and bottom. (iii) Charcoal and salt shall be laid in alternate layer of 150 mm each with total eight layers (each 4 layer of charcoal and salt). (iv) the earth test point of Gun metal / phosphorus bronze shall be located all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Comprehensive maintenance of EOT crane of capacity 5 Ton by checking all mechnical and electrical equipment/system for normal working and testing with the load including greasing, oiling and replacing minor spares and consumbles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. NOTE: (i) All consumables upto Rs. 2000/- shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted (ii) Contractor shall respond to the telephonic calls in case of any emergency complaint and shall attend immediately. (iii) Testing Load of 5 Ton shall be provided by the contractor and the Load rate is included in the above quoted rates.

Repairs to old broken / damaged steel earth pit cover by replacing MS sheet cover 5 mm thick with iron angle frame including fabrication with lifting facility and fixing on existing earth pit as per site requirement all as specified and directed.
