Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for pipe line, cable trenches etc not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour sand cushioning using clean Fine River sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed. ( Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying Best quality, locally available, sub class ‘B’ clay bricks (Old Size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 05 above but using old serviceable bricks.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class LV, Type 1, Flat size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified.

Taking out old unservicable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches / wall / roof / road / pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection complete all as directed.

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / hard standing /along poles and testing XLPE, LT Cable, with PVC outer sheath Type-I as per IS - 5831, insulated stranded aluminium conductor as Per Class-2 of IS - 8130 served with and inner sheathining of PVC tape- ST-I as per IS-5831 color Red, Yellow, Blue & Black ,armoured with Galvanised steel wire and over all PVC sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS-1554 (Part-I & II) with latest amendments of Size cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3.5 core ,1100 volts grade heavy duty complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cable route indicator fabricated from 40x6 mm angle iron 450 mm long ,rivited or welded with 100 mm dia CI or MS round disc duly engraved 'LT CABLE " in letters & 'BLUE' colour including grauted into the ground with PCC casting (1:4:8), type D2 with 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate minimum size of PCC 20 cm x 20 cm x 30 cm deep from groung level complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for making the hole under road pavement and hard standing for laying pipe of 150, by mechanical drill system or Auger system complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair PVC insulated and over all PVC sheathed three core copper conductor cable multistranded of size 1.5 Sqmm drawn in and including 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade along the pole from junction box to light fitting including fixing accessories complete all as directed.

Supply and erecting pre-stressed concrete poles 9 mtr long of cross section (102mmx172mm) at top and (102mmx279mm) at bottom, class-10 complying with requirements of IS-1678-1978 in perfect vertical position, embedded in PCC foundation and coping, including applying two coats of cement base paint on PCC coping complete all as directed. Note: (i) PCC and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item. (ii) The T&P vehicles will be arranged by the contractor for transporting the pole and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of electric poles/struts etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted during calculation the quantity of PCC for foundation.)

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of electric poles/struts etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted during calculation the quantity of PCC for coping.)

S&F PVC cable Junction box for street light including 6 to 32 Amp MCB SP with aluminium bus bar TPN for controlling the Street Lights with pole mounting type size 300x300x150mm with 02 Nos. MS clamp of MS flat iron 40 x 6 mm with bolts, nuts and washer fixed on poles/walls complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix energy efficient LED street light fitting of 45 Watt capacity with toughened clear glass , LED chip efficacy > 130 lumen / watt, system efficacy > 120 lumen / watt, luminarie shall be mandatory brand embossed on luminaries, potted antivibration driver. The driver shall be able to withstand for indoor at 440V for 8 hours . The driver should have fascility and cut off voltage. Input over voltage protection will be > 300 Volt AC and for cut off the luminaires should withstand for 48 hours at 100 Volt AC. The LED efficacy shall be more than 85% at a junction temperature of 85 degree centigrade. All screws of the luminaires should be SS304. Luminaires pressure dicast aluminium housing with mendatory secondary optics, CCT: 5700K ANSIBIN, CRI > 70, LED source : 1-5 Watt high power type , driver of luminaire shall be preferably in separate compartment another optical compartment .The LED driver shall be constant current type fully potted. Driver shall be provided for all luminaires. It should be moiture resistant and fire reterdant. At least industrial grade or higher grade component should be used for manufacturing of driver. The driver shall be able to withstand surge (EFT+ESD interference) of minimum 4 KV. Luminaire shall have surge protection device of minimum 10 KV inside the driver compertment. The driver shall have under voltage, over voltage and short circuit protection and auto recovery mode. Total harmonic distortion shall be < 10% with power factor minimum 0.95. It should give consistent performance in the input voltage range of 120 V - 270 V at 50 Hz. Luminaires shall be mandatory brand embossed of luminaries and including all electric connection and accessories complete all as directed.

Supply and fix street light bracket made out of 40mm dia GI tubing medium grade made to shape 1.5 Mtr long with fixing arrangement for LED fitting duly painted with two coats of synthetic aluminium paint over a coat of primer including MS clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washer etc complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of road, demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) , taking out old LT under ground cable of any size any description and old pipe, relaying the old serviceable cable and pipe, providing new additional cable and pipe as reqired , material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type-B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates for making good and matching the existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) New GI pipe if required for this item shall be measured and paid separately as supply and fixing under respective items of BOQ. (ii). New cable if required for this item shall be measured and paid separately as supply and fixing under respective items of BOQ. (iii) The cost of labour for relaying of old serviceable cable and pipe is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iv) Cost of taking out old unserviceable cable and pipe is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account . (v) The cost of material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4) Type -B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates for matching the existing surface is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (vi) Measurement and payment for this item shall be made per cum.

Material and Labour Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI strip 32 mm X 6 mm by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh,RCC cover & frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
