Disconnecting/Taking down old unserviceable Earthing pit of any type with accessories including removing demolished materail out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate 600mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts checks nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule Part-I and including 40 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe (upto 7.5 metres beyond outer edge of earth pit) PCC M-10 grade (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in pit with 40mm thick RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia bar both way @ 150mm c/c, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, common salt ad chaarcoal filling, necessary excavation and warth work complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate of item is deemed to be incuded for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth.

Note for Sl No 2 & 3 (i) It the desired earth resistance is not acheived during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his wan cost and no extra clain shall be admissable. (ii) Length of earth strip/electrode beyond 7.5m shall be seasured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ (iii) Resistance value should be less than 5 Ohm

Material and labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate 900mm x 900mm x 5mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 metres below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 50 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shoen in electrical plate No 3 of MED schedulr Part-I and including 80 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe (upto 7.5 metres beynd outer edge of earth pit) PCC M-1+B500 grade (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in pit with 40mm thick RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced woth 8mm dia bar noth way @ 150mm c/c, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, coon salt and chaarcoal filling, necessay excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate of item is deemed to be included for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth.

Note:-Rate of item is deemed to be included for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth. Note: (i) If the desired earth resistance is not achive during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable. (ii) Length of earth strip/electrode bwyond 7.5mtr shall be measured and paid under relevent item of this BOQ. (iii) Resistance value shall be less than 5 Ohm. (iv) Copper plate shall be of 99.99% Copper.

Taking down of unserviceable copper earthing strip any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing of copper strip of size 20mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Copper strip shall be 99.99% of copper.

All ae per item No 7.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Old serviceable copper earthing strip retrieved from serial item No 7.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item .

Taking down of unserviceable aluminium earthing strip any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing of copper strip of size 32mmx6mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicted situation for loop earthing etc as in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required of size 25x3mm aluminium strip complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 11.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Old serviceable Aluminium earthing strip retrieved shall be used under this item.

Taking down of unserviceable GI earthing wire any size complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for galvanised steel wire of size 4mm dia for earth continuity conductor of main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or fixed to poles or any other inicated situation for loop earthing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 14.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as specified and directed. Note: Old serviceable Aluminium earthing wire retrieved from serial item No 14.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

Material and labour for 32mm bore galbanised iron pipe, light grade including all firings and fixed laid in trenches or fixed to wall/ along the pole for protection of cable including taking down old GI pipe, complete all as specified and as directed. Note Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separtely.

Supply and Fixing of earthing test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mmx75mmx25mm thick drilled and screws including MS box 2 mm thick if suitable size for protection of test point terminal, including dismantling of old unserviceable test point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for cutting of existing steel tubing for alteration or additions (each cut measured) of size 50/40mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for screwing existing steel tubing for lateration or additions of size 50/40 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing of Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300m long (99.9% molecularly copper) with complete acessories fixed on copper strip for earth conductivity to ground as in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing of PCC M-10 grade (nominal mix) usign 40mm graded stone aggregate for earthing pit of outer size 450x450x300mm, wall thickness 10mm and RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia bar both way @ 150mm c/c of size 450x450x80mm including GI funnel and necessary earth work including taking down old earth pit cover of conventional earthing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Earth Pit Indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia, 60 cm long M S square bar embedded in PCC M-10 grade (nominal mix) using 20mm graded stone agreegate in PCC block of size 30cm x 30cm x 3mm including C I plate size 30cm x 30cm x 3mm tthick fixed on side wall of PCC block complete all as specified and as diredted. Note: (i) The cost for writing of following lettering shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. Supply and Fixing of 500 liters capacity white colour triple layer, rotational moulded, polythene water storage tank (Cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed on roof in position, including all fitting such as connection pieces with GI tank nipple for inlet, outlet, washout and overflow etc complete all as specified and as directed.
