M & L for repairs to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform smooth surfaces, depth of patholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, removing extra material either by manually/mechanically and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 on old bituminous carpet surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Scarifying picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep including separating and stacking serviceable materials and removing debrish upto a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed

Screening road metal, chippings etc on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured).

M&L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) granite trape or basalt, spread rolled & consolidated to gradient and camber required using vibratory power roller exceeding 8 tonnes and not exceeding 12 tones capacity

All as per item above herein before but except materials complete all as specified and as directed (serviceable aggregate obtained from Item No 04 herein before shall be used)

Material and labour for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing bituminous premixed semi asphaltic dense concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in central computerised hot mix plant and laid using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Design mix shall first got approved by GE before incorporating to the work.

M&L for painting lines, Dashes, Arrows etc by applying 2.5mm thick THERMOPLASTIC road marking compoung of White / Yellow of approved make and shade for road marking, exceeding 10cm width on bituminous roads / pavements or on cement concrete surfaces using Hot processor plant complete all as specified and as directed

Supply & Fix road studs of size 110 x 128 x 29.5mm weight 248 gms ABS engineering plastic dynamically designed having high impac strength and fitted 02 Nos highly reflective reflector on both sides including taking down damage cat eye complete all as specified and directed.MAKE : 3M/AVERY DENNISONA/VARGO/DARK EYE.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam with binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content @ 4 % by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber of thickness not more than 75mm complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Design mix shall first got approved by GE before incorporating to the work.

M&L for applying tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG - 10 (Paving Bitumen) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm on unsurfaced WBM/bitumen macadam complete all as specified and directed.
