PROVN OF WATER SOFTENER PLANT IN JAPANESE WELL AT AF STN CARNICOBAR

Supply install testing and commissioning of multigrade media water softening plant of capacity 50000LPH with multigrade sand filter media (MS vessel 2mtr x dia x 1.8mtr height-01No), activated carbon filter (MS vessel 2mtr dia x 1.8mtr height-01No), softener vessel (vessel 1.6mtr dia x 2.1mtr height-2Nos),FRP Brine solutiontank 4500Ltr capacity-01No and agitator- 3Nos x 3 phase flitration feed pump sets of capacity 6 Cum per Hr or equivalent with 40mtr head, inter connecting pipes and fittings of dia 80mm to 150mm or as per OEM recommendation, all kind of valves for the entire plant, back wash arranegement etc. Filter vessel shall be of Mild Steel with strainer at bottom, having working pressure 10 Kg / cm2 including first filling of multigrade sand beds of machne washed sand, graval etc of recommended size, resin bed of recommended grade, brine solution upto recommended level all as specified and as directed includes the following: (i) Control panel board made up of CRCA sheet 1.6mm thick alongwith FASD starters comprising 3 phase contactors of equivalent capacity of plant Single phase preventers, thermal & overload relays, ON/OFF push buttons, MCCB/MCBs, timers etc. for all pump sets and accessories shall be included in quoted price.

(ii) Complete set of frontal piping of dia 80mm to 150mm or as per OEM recommended, linking of all pump sets, valves & vessels upto 15mtr radius of the plant. Beyond this, extra pipes will be measured and paid separately. (iii) Pressure guage for inlet and outlet flow shall be fitted in pipes of each vessel. (iv) PCC foundation for pump sets, vessels and panel board shall be measured and paid separately. (v) Initial charge of graded filter sand and under bed materials including resin bed, brine solution etc shall be load on site and testin shall be carried out after completion of installation at site. (vi) 3 x 3phase monoblock filtration feed pumps of 6 Cbic Mtr Per Hr capacity with 40mtr head shall be supplied and installed by the contractor without any extra cost. (vii) LT UG cable and earthing system shall be measured and paid separately. (ix) Pipeline from end outlet of plant to existing water supply distribution system and their control valves shall be measured and paid separately except frontal pipelines. (x) Rate includes PH correction system with PH dosing tank & dosing pump (Monoblock, 3phase) of capacity 51.5Cum/ltr @40mtr head -2Nos, Rota meter, level switch and pressure gauges etc...

Material and labour for 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floors including necessary form work all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in as in leveling course including use of form work as necessary complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Cutting existing CI/ DI/ MS/ GI pipeline of dia 50mm to 150mm and inseritng CI/DI/MS / GI special including inserting new connection with and including necessary Tee, jointing & welding work etc to take branch connection including testing compete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing DI/GI specials from 80mm to 250mm bore such as bends(any type, radius and angle)tapers any type, Tee equal/unequal with flanged and socket or in any combination in any length as per site requirement, tail piece straight,bend,increasing,decreasing or double socket etc.) tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or sockets and spigot) collars, caps and plugs including ring washer gaskets all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Cutting main pipeline before inserting DI/GI fittings for making branch connections also deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply and lay 4 sqmm copper 3 core cable PVC (flexible) sheathed heavy grade industrial type suitable for submersible pumpset and starter including copper lugs, glands, nut bolts and cabling accessories compete all as specified and directed.
