REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS OF VARIOUS RATING AT AF STN DINJAN UNDER GE (AF) MOHANBARI

Routine maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance, attending breakdown as and when required and testing of DG set complete i.e. Engine, Alternator etc for efficient functioning including provision of all consumables items like cotton, waste cloth, kerosene oil etc for repair. Maintenance will be carried out all as specified for various capacity DG Sets here-in-after and as directed. (a) Checking clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required. (b) Changing of oil filter, fuel filters, screen filters assy. (c) Changing of water filter element. (d) Changing of Hydraulic governer oil. (e) Tightening of all nut bolts. (f) Greasing of all points. (g) Checking of any leaking in fuel and oil lines. (h) Cleaning of fuel tank by taking out the dirt and sludge, cleaning the tank thoroughly. (i) Adjusting valve tappet clearence/timing. (j) Injector pressure test cleaning and repairing, tightining fasteners and making lubrication leak proof. (k) Repair/rewiring of broken/damaged control panel connection including measuring instruments, indicators, engine proction devices etc. Note : (i) DHPP (N) required at the time of maintenance/testing will be issued under Sch "B" 'Free for filling' and coolent will be paid separately. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling/taking down of old unserviceable spare parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Labour charges for dismantling/taking down and refixing of old serviceable spare parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iv) Spare parts like oil filter, fuel filter, screen filter by pass filter etc will be measured and paid separately. (v) Routine maintenance carried through OEM/OEM authrised Dealers only and certification of OEM to be produced complete.

Material and labour for taking out self starter 12/24 volt from the DG Set, transporting to workshop, opening/disconnecting all internal connections, cleaning the same, taking out burnt armature, segrigation of serviceable parts for re-use, rewinding of armature with copper wire of existing size. Reassembling the same with replacement of following items and testing on completion for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge:- (a) Carbon brush 01 set. (b) Beadex pinion 01 no. (c) Half clutch assy 01 No. (d) Field coil 01 No. (e) Slonoid switch 01 No. (f) Commutator 01 nos.

Supply and fixing Battery terminal cable, copper conductor multi strand, unsheathed, single core 25 sqmm, 1.5 metre long fixed with copper terminals on both side suitable for 12 Volts & upto 180 AH battery. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for dismantling the unserviceable radiator for DG set of undermentioned capacity from engine, transportation to the workshop, repairing the tank/storage portion including necessary welding & making leak proof of the tank, cleaning the complete radiator with chemical agent and pumping set including replacement of defective copper core and reassembling the radiator including replacement of all old rusted MS nuts, bolts washers & gasket sets including refixing and testing for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for dismantling turbocharger assembly from the DG set of undermentioned capacity from engine, transportation to work shop for repair, cleaning and carrying out inspection of each components/spares segregation of serviceable spares for reuse including decarbonising machine, cutting, grinding, polishing etc. and re-assembling the Turbocharger with replacement of spare parts and refixing on existing position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge (Note:- Spares parts is deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

Material and labour for painting to the DG Sets of any capacities including fuel tank foundation base and panel board by prepration of old painted surfaces, cleaning and removing of existing rust, grease oil spot etc and applying two coats of 1st grade synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of aliuminium red oxide primer by spray painting of approved make, brand and colours (includes cost of paint) including writing MES/SM number of DG set on its body and feeding location on panel complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply, fixing in repairs on load changeover switch four pole of rated current 250 Amps capacity , 415 Volts, 50 Hz , conforming to IS:13947 (part-3), IEC:60947-3 in SS enclosure over existing location, including necessary connection, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Cost of minor addition, alteration, fabrication work (if required) at site to fix properly is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Material and labour for finding out defects of fully Automatic Electric panel (AMF) of DG set of capacity 15 KVA and taking out burnt interconnection wiring, unserviceable components and serviceable components for reuse, including rewiring of panel using existing size of copper cable, ferrule, lugs, insulating material, nut bolt washer of various sizes refixing serviceable items and replacement of Contactor and testing for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixed in repairs for switch mode power supply (SMPS) for DG set that make use to switching to regulator to transfer of electrical power supply to battery of the DG set so that the battery of DG set become charge at all the time complete all as specified and directed by Engneer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs NO NC switch of electric panel for DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing in repairs of LED indicator as per color scheme (Red, Yellow and Blue) suitable for LT panel. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and topping heavy duty concentrate/Antri freeze type coolant in radiator assembly, suitable to Kirloskar Koel Green DG sets complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge. Make : Castrol / Volvoline/Servo/HP

Material and labour for distilled water for batteries in 5 litres container. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge

Dismantling taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces etc of any section from pole including nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note - Cost of cutting of bolts (Slag bolts) if reqd shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

M&L Mild steel cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers , welding, bending, cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts , in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat with red oxide Zinc Chrome and two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for re-conditioning of battery 12 Volt, upto 180 AH, to drain out distilled water and Acid, taking out damaged lead plates complete for replacing with new lead plates of suitable weight & size including supplying and filling fresh lead acid , distilled water, microporus seperater and testing for satisfactory functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting and taking out the existing unserviceable LT cable of any size, Supply and fixing/laying/connecting, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated GI wire/strip armoured electric power cable (Heavy duty) with multistranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 1 core fixed on poles/wall/floor in ducts etc including cable glands, lugs and suitable size of MS saddle clips (where ever cable laid in ceiling / walls without cable duct) as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: 1. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection brick and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items )

Material and labour for disconnecting Alternator 415 V, 3 Phase, 4 wire system from engine both mechanically and electrically, transporting to local workshop, dismantling the alternator, cleaning the alternator complete internally and externally, removing the burnt out winding wire and rewinding of stator winding with same gauge copper wire and turn with "F" class insulation, varnishing, heating, drying, greasing the bearings and rotating parts and assembling back after aligning with engine including testing with & including renewal of AVR for its efficient working on load as specified and directed for the following capacity DG Sets :-
