REPAIRS/ MAINT TO HT/LT OVERHEAD LINES, UNDERGROUND CABLES, PANELS, DEHYDRATION OF TRANSFORMER AND MAINT OF TRASFORMERS, VCBs AND CONNECTED E/M WORKS AT RTS D SAHARANPUR UNDER GE ROORKEE

Disconnecting defective transformer indoor/outdoor of capacity 400KVA both from HT/LT sides, and then drainage of complete transformer oil, opening of top cover with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then lifting of core by means of tripod and chain pulley with due care for inspection and ascertain it’s serviceability state after keeping it aside. Removal of all sludge and unwanted material from tank and core, lowering of core assembly after carrying out required repairs to the winding and core. In case the repairs which are not possible at site then the transformer has to be taken to the work shop for repairs, and installation back to original position after repairing and connecting, testing complete all as directed at site by Engr-In-Charge. Note :- (i) The cost of transportation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the conractor. (ii) The cost of rewinding shall be paid separately. (iii) The cost of dehydration/filtration & other necessary repair as directed shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (iv) Additional transformer oil for top-up, if required will be filled by contractor and shall be paid under respective item of this schedule.

Opening of top cover LT and HT side bushings with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then replacement of head gasket, LT and HT bushing packings complete and ensured that no leakage in transformer from LT/HT bushing and top cover gasket as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting defective transformer indoor/outdoor of any capacity up to 25-100KVA both from HT/LT sides, and then drainage of required transformer oil. Opening of top cover LT and HT side bushings with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then replacement of head gasket, LT and HT bushing packings complete and ensured that no leakage in transformer from LT/HT bushing and top cover gasket as directed.

Taking down of transformers of capacity25/63/100 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC platform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to workshop from site of installation to workshop for repairs including loading and unloading of transformer, and replacing it to site from where it was taken for repairs as per site requirement and then lowering it by means of crane and remounting on 2/4pole structure after repairs with all connection complete all as directed and specified.

Shifting of transformers of capacity 25/63/100/160/250/400 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC platform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to PCC/ 2 or 4 pole structure to any other required location at RTS & Depot , Saharanpur lowering and remounting on 2/4pole structure it by means of crane after disconnecting all connection and reconnection in new location including earthing connection and as directed.

S & F in replacement of worn out HT copper coils made out of super enamelled insulated copper wire all as per existing size and shape including all insulating, binding, material and then varnishing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of worn out LT copper coils made out of super enamelled insulated copper strip all as per existing size and shape including all insulating, binding, material and then varnishing complete all as specified and directed.

Dehydration/centrifuging of transformer oil by means centrifuging machine electrically operated at site of installation of transformer in running condition of transformer including testing of transformer oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer at 4mm gap the break down voltage should be 50KV complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and topping up of transformer oil of dielectric strength of 65 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of worn out bushing rod made out of brass with heavy duty three nuts and three washer at both ends suitable for HT side all as per exiting size, shape and length suitable for following capacity transformers :- (i) 160 – 250 KVA Transformers.

(ii) 400 KVA Transformer.

(iii) 25 - 100 KVA

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Coping of pole/Stay etc. including necessary form work for coping and finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed at site.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of PCC poles/struts all as specified including necessary form work all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping around poles , including necessary form work finishing even and smooth without using extra cement , all as specified and directed.

S & F for High tension cable fault checking by high tension cable fault testing machine by disconnecting the HT cable end termination including insulation testing complete of faulty cable complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix HT 11 KV outdoor expulsion type lightening arrestor with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo Amp with the provn of mountings, accessories complete fixed on cross arms of two/four pole structure/GI flat strip and connect with same size of ACSR conductor encased in PVC alkathine pipe with all fittings connected to earth strip with nut, bolt, washer all as specified and directed complete.

Supply only HT Insulation tape roll all as specified.

Taking down unserviceable steel tubular poles at site as directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and erect in true vertical (or to be planted as strut) steel tubular, swaged welded pole complete with MS base plate of 6 mm thick of size 300 x 300 mm finial taper plug, cap, bolts, nuts, washer and screws confirming to IS -2713 Part II type 410-SP-55 (11 mtr long) hole of required size and Nos for fixing cross arms painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of silver aluminium paint for exposed surface and two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embedded in concrete complete all as specified and directed (Note : Excavation earth work, PCC foundation, coping shall be measured and paid separately).

Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable 11 KV UG Cable of any size and capacity

M & L for Brick protection with sub class ‘B’ bricks old size, laid dry, flat over cable, perpendicular across the cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for stringing, tightening, fixing and connecting ACSR conductor and GI Wire of existing HT/LT overhead line any size any type, between pole to pole, approximate span length 40 to 50m, complete the following all as specified and directed : - (i) 2 Wire with/Without GI Wire.

(ii) 5 Wire With GI Wire.

(iii) 6 Wire With GI Wire.

Cross Arms , Clamps, bolts, nuts, brackets etc and including painting of pole/ structure with two coat of synthetic paint yellow & Black strips 300mm wide alternative from bottom to upward of LT pole upto height of 1.5mtr above embedded portion at GL, and writing pole number, complete the following as specified and directed by EIC.

M&L for Painting of single LT steel tubular, structure including. cleaning and scrapping the old surface and then applying two coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all steel structure mounted on pole viz. Cross Arms , Clamps, bolts, nuts, brackets etc. and including painting of pole/ structure ith two coat of synthetic black & yellow enamel paint strip 300 mm wide alternative from bottom to upward of LT pole up to height of 1.5 mtr above the embedded portion of GL and writing pole number balance portion of pole shall be painted with two coats of Aluminium enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete the following as specified and directed :- Notes for Item No 61 to 6 : - (i) Pole will be cleaned with steel brush to remove old unserviceable paint or scrapped complete surface. (ii) All poles will be numbered all as directed at site. (iii) If painting of poles not properly and not satisfied by JE/Engr-in-charge shall not be paid to contractor or otherwise repaint without extra cost.

Supply and erection of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts , nuts and screw as specified of type 410 SP-31, 9 Meter long, including marking alternate yellow and black strips 30 cm height- total-5Nos with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer above embedded portion at GL, complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing in repairs stay assembly for LT Pole comprising of 7/3.15mm galvanized steel stranded stay wire of required length fixed to pole with and including clamps fabricated out of MS Clamps 50 x 6 mm flat iron including nuts, bolts and washers, MS galvanized stay bow 14mm dia 400mm long galvanized steel stay rod 16mm dia, 1800mm long with ratchet type nuts & bolts and stay plate, galvanized thimble 02 Nos, loop insulators 65mm x90mm clearance dia of hole 16mm all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 1 of MES SSR including all necessary excavation and earth work, PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate ,embedded block and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrodes 60x60x6 mm thick buried directly in ground eath (earth pit not less 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to GI wire 4mm by means of bolt nuts check nuts and washers of galvnised iron or steel all as specified & shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR part-I connected to earth test point as specified as specified and testing on completion including provision of 20 mm dia light grade pipe & watering pipe shall be 15 mm bore meadium grade including all excavation & earth work in any type of soil incl PCC for pit (1:3:6) type C-1 with RCC cover in PCC(1:2:4) including chrcoal, salt & funnel GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade up to to 7.5 mtr length ,all as directed at site.

Repairs to existing stay assembly including tightening of stay wire, , shifting of clamps fixed to pole or by repairing to PCC coping by breaking and making new with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed at site .

S & F in replacement of unserviceable can type resin filled (Alpx3) capacitors with built-in terminal connectors on top and mounting stud on the bottom heavy duty 440 V Un all as per existing type suitable for APFC panels, 3 phase, 415 V, 50 Hz sysytem of any capapcity. make : Legrand/Epcos/Universal (i) 25 KVAr
