Scarifying or picking Gravelled Macadam or Bituminous Macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 Sqm and exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre of paving bitumen (VG-10) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam with 4% binder paving bitumen (VG-30) content by wt. of total mix laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness 75 mm thickness or less, and rolled with power roller 8 to 10 Ton complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Job Mix formula as per MORTH Specification shall be got done from the accredited Govt's approved lab and cost there on shall be born by the contractor. Bitumen content indicated in description shall be minimum however actual requirement of bitumen binder in plus side shall be as per Job Mix formula. Work shall be executed after approval of Job Mix formula by GE.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces using heavy duty air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 05 Kg/10 Sqm over existing surfaces using paving bitumen VG-10 by mechanical sprayer etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 40mm thick (Consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete(SDAC) with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight to total mix, Mixed in automatic hot mix plant, laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix design and the tests specified. However quantity of bitumen from the mix design found more than specified 5.5%, the same shall be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix design, the same shall be regularised as per actual mix design with minus price adjustment for less bitumen at market rate at the time of execution. The quantity of 5.5% mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken into account for the purpose of above adjustment. Note :(a) Hot roling to be carriedout through Tandom roller and when temprature fallen upto 60 degree centigrate rolling to be carried out through Pneumatic Tyre (PTR) for filling of voids and better compaction.
