Replacement of the existing damaged bearing housing of Vertical Turbine (VT) Pumping unit No. 03 at stage 4th by dismantling the old damaged bearing housing, fabrication, providing, and fitting a new cast iron bearing housing conforming to the dimensions and specifications of the existing housing including all casting, boring, drilling, facing, turning, machining, fitting, alignment, consumables, labour, tools and tackles, transportation, testing, and commissioning complete and trouble-free operation of the assembly on full load.

Mechanical repairs of non-reverse ratchet seal plate of unit no. 3 stage 4th by way of rebuilding each broken off circular edge portion (< 30% perimeter) of outer side or central hub and keyway using good quality CI welding electrodes. The plate should be preheated to around 200 deg. C before carrying out the welding job. Turning, slotting and machining of the work piece to restore original dimensions.
