Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

GST shall be paid on the tendered amount separately

All terms and conditions are as per tender Standard Bid Document i.e. KW-2

If the tender of the successful tenderer is unbalanced in relation to the Estimate cost of the work to be performed under the contract, the Employer may require the Tenderer to produce detailed price analysis for any or all items of the Bill of Quantities to demonstrate the internal consistency of those prices with the construction methods and schedule proposed. After evaluation of the price analysis, the Employer may require that the amount of the performance security set forth in SBD be increased at the expense of the successful Tenderer to a level sufficient to protect the Employer against financial loss in the event of default of the successful tenderer under the contract.

The terms & Conditions laid down in Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act 1999 and Rules 2000 with subsequent amendments are applicable.

Conditional tenders will be rejected.

Joint venture is not allowed.

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in his name should have in the Achieved in at least two financial years an annual financial turnover of Rs.25.00 lakhs (usually not less than the Estimated Cost under this contract for works costing up to Rs.100.00 Lakhs). Tenderer should upload scanned statement of Turn over Certificate Certified by Chartered Accountant along with UDN No, profit and loss statement and face sheet of ITR for the block period 2021-22 to 2025-26 compulsorily.

Satisfactorily completed during the last five years at least 90 Percent of the contract value as prime contractor at least one similar work such as construction of Civil Engineering Work of value not less than Rs 10 lakhs usually not less than 50 Percent estimated value of contract Tenderer should upload scanned Single Similar Nature of Works Work done Certificate issued by Government Department or Boards Or Corporations signed by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer The certificate should contain postal address of the office with pin code Office Telephone Number and E mail ID Compulsorily

Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs.7.00 Lakhs (Credit lines/Letters of Credit/ Certificates form Banks) for meeting the fund requirement etc. usually 30% of the amount of contract. as Per Bid Document Upoloded in E-procurment Protal (KW-2)

Deduction of Royalty as per the prevailing rates of the Karnataka Mines and Mineral Concession rules will be made. (At the time of billing, Royalty-MDP Certificate Should be Produced Compulsorily)

Collection of CESS at the rate of 1% of the Cost of the construction incurred by the contractor etc, under the Building and other Construction workers welfare CESS Act-1996 will be deducted. (As per prevailing orders)

GST will be deducted from the Contractors Bills at the rate of CGST 1% And SGST 1% of the Cost of the construction incurred as per Government Order.

If the Tenderer intends to quote lesser rates than the rates in BOQ He shall obtain the FDR or Demand Draft for the Difference amount drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of Executive Engineer, KSDB, No.2 Division, Mysore payable at Mysore valid till the completion of work. Scanned copy of FDR / Demand Draft shall be uploaded along with the Financial Bid Documents in the e-portal and original FDR / Demand Draft shall be produced for physical verification on the date of opening of Financial Bid. If the tender fails to provide the original FDR / Demand Draft for the difference amount quoted his tender will be rejected

If the Tenderer fails to start the work within the scheduled time period after the issue of Work Order, Executive Engineer reserves the right to forfeit the performance security FDR / DD of the Tender Difference amount submitted.

Please note henceforth, any changes in the Notification or contents of tender process schedule will not be published through newspapers and further changes will be updated on e-portal only.

Further information can be availed from the office of The Executive Engineer, Karnataka Slum Development Board, No.2 Division, Mysuru.

The tenderer should visit the proposed Constructions Site & submit the feasibility report regarding men, material & completion of the works by hand to the AEE, KSDB, Mandya Sub-Division, Mandya Further the tenderer should obtain a site feasibility declaration letter issued by AEE addressed to the Executive Engineer, KSDB, No.2 Division Mysore & upload it in e-portal along with the technical bid & produce the same for physical verification on the date of opening of technical bid as specified in the calendar of events. Failing to comply with this condition will make the tenderer liable for rejection.

The Executive Engineer, Karnataka Slum Development Board, No.2 Division, Mysuru at any time during the bid process at his discretion reserves the right of Annulling the Bid process in full or part, rejecting any/or all Bids without assigning any reasons thereof.
