Eligibility Criteria

The contractor has to make his own arrangements for procurement of all the required materials and the materials so procured shall confirm to the relevant IS Specifications or Equivalent and obtain necessary quality certificate from authorized quality control.

The Contractor is fully responsible for the Equipment / Material / Project, until the same is handed over to the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER in an operating condition after commissioning.

The Contractor is responsible for the proper maintenance of equipment /material / Project, as well as protection of the same against theft, elements of nature, damages etc while in his custody as well as after erection until the same is taken over by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER under due acknowledgment in writing.

The contractor should furnish the name of the individual/ firm/company joint venture with address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address with place of registration, year of incorporation etc.

The certificates furnished by the bidder shall be got confirmed / verified for its genuineness

The intending Bidders/firms/companies/ joint ventures are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of the construction materials, workmen, land required for construction activities etc

The bidder should enclose the detailed methodology of execution of the scheme as per the scope of work

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

All materials of approved quality including steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only. No departmental supply of any materials shall be made.

Typographical errors, if any, will not be the ground for any claims by the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture.

The agency should establish temporary material testing lab at the location of the work site with all required facilities and logbooks are to be maintained in prescribed format of Quality control Reports And submit same to the Department Regularly.

The Period of completion is 11 months (including Monsoon).

The Tenders are invited as per standard tender bid documents K/W-6. The intending bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture should adhere to all terms & conditions in the tender documents, Standard Specifications, and prevailing Government orders/ circulars

Water arrangement for the construction, curing, drinking for the construction staff, etc. is in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture. Temporary/permanent accommodation for the staff and workers is also in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture.

Disposal of debris / unused excavated stuff including transportation and with all lead & lifts is in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture.

Safety measures, barricading, traffic management, etc. at work sites are in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture

Any other items of work that have not been specifically mentioned in the specifications but are necessary for the Project as per good engineering practice, safety norms, and operation & maintenance, shall be deemed to be included within the scope of work.

The Bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture should submit documentary records like photos, videos, etc. of the existing condition of the items covered under the General Scope of Work, during, and after the execution of the work

During the execution, any existing structures, etc., disturbed should be restored to their original condition as directed by the engineer in charge with approved drawings by the competent authorities by the contractor at the contractors cost.

All the cost towards measures to be taken by the bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture for dewatering necessary for the execution of the work is deemed to be included in the bid price.

Creating Documentation of day-to-day activities and submitting the same to the Department regularly, such as Photos/Videos, Progress/Other Reports, Log-books, History Sheets, Inventory Register, Correspondence Files, As-Built Drawings, Operation& Maintenance Manuals, list of fast wearing spares and stock of spares for minimum one year of normal operation shall be maintained.

The bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture should provide the required safety measures and train all concerned staff in day-to-day operations. The bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture shall comply with all applicable health and safety regulations in all activities of the Scheme. The bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture is responsible for ensuring the health & safety of his personnel

Sufficient stock of consumables for daily maintenance of electrical and mechanical components shall always be maintained at all the required locations.

The bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture shall plan adequately for any accidents to the personnel and all statutory requirements according to the Labour Act shall be provided to the concerned personnel.

A Complaint Register shall be maintained along with the Follow-up details, for recording complaints, and actions taken shall be maintained in prescribed formats.

Any activity not specifically mentioned herein but deemed to be fairly contingent to the intent and spirit of contracted work as per the Engineer in charge will form part of the responsibility of the Contractor.

The bidder/ firm/company/ joint venture should adhere to the latest version of relevant IS standards which are applicable for all designs/execution/testing & commissioning etc. for this works.

The Prevailing Common SR shall be referred for the detailed specifications for all the works under the Scope of Work.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders The departments shall not be responsible for non accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

EMD Payments through KPP portal mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders. Royalty shall be deducted as per KMMCR 1994 Amendment rule 2016, Also KMMCR 2016 Amendment Rule 36(3), 42(1), 44(3), 44(4)

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

As per Karnataka State Govt Order No:LD/300/LET/2006/Bangalore Dt:1-1-2007 and Govt Ltr No:PW/134/BMS/2007, Dt: 27-7-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

Financial Year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty first day of March of succeeding year (both days inclusive).

The tenderer shall furnish required information in all formats. Scan and upload all Formats/Original documents required for this bid to the KPP portal. The Original Formats/Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of Technical Bid for physical verification.

If any additions/alteration of location involved during execution, it is the responsibility of the agency to execute the work as per contemplated scope of the work, without causing any damages to existing infrastructure. If any damages occur during execution, the same shall be restored to the original condition at no extra cost

The individual bidders of joint venture should be Class I Contractor registered in Karnataka PWD/Central PWD separately

The tenderer has to quote his rates by excluding GST. However Contract will be concluded for the amount (exclusive of GST) but applicable GST will be paid extra prevailing at the time of execution. If the GST rates are revised during the Contract period. The tenderer/Employer has to accept the revised GST rates for making payment/recovery.

Addendum / Corrigendum will be published in the website for all modifications or corrections if any

Satisfactory completion (at least 90% of the contract value), as Prime contractor, at least one similar work such as Construction / Improvements of tanks from Single Contract of value not less than Rs.895.69 Lakhs during the last five years (2021-22 to 2025-26).The work done certificate should be obtained duly signed from an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer of the concerned division. (Workdone of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of FY 2026-27)
