| 1.01 | SITC of Aerosol Generator having aerosol mass of 1500gm shall be electrically actuated by means of Fire Alarm cum Release Panel. The housing shall be constructed of stainless steel shell.Housing shall be sealed with a non permeable membrane. Units shall have passed salt spray corrosion testing per UL Standard 2127 and having UL/EN/VDS as part of their listing. Aerosol generated shall be potassium based. Agent shall have no ozone depletion potential and no global warming potential. Agent shall be listed by the US EPA under the SNAP program. Aerosol generators shall be listed by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) to UL Subject 2775 covering Fixed Condensed Aerosol Systems per NFPA 2010. UL approved design density of the aerosol should be less than 100g/cu.mtr for Class A, B & C fires as per NFPA. The Aerosol generator should have self life of 15 years. Aerosol generator shall be supplied with Stainless steel Bracket & Gland.

| 1.03 | Supply, Installation & testing of First Responder The unit housing shall be constructed of metal and incorporate insulating/cooling material. Discharge ports for agent release shall be located around the circumference of the housing. Housing shall accept a M201 specification MIL-DTL-51353 certificate for purpose modified grenade type fuze initiator and shall be non-pressurized prior to system activation. Initiator and CSIRO Activefire certification. The initiator shall be subject to 100% inspection by means of x-ray. Safety. Units shall incorporate dual safety devices – a crimped safety pin which is withdrawn by means of a pull ring, and a safety clip which locks the pull ring and requires that the pull ring be twisted to allow the pull ring to withdraw the safety pin.
