Excavation in post holes ( or similar holes) in hard/ dense soil, each not exceeding 0.5 Cum, getting out returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Hardcore of gauge exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete1:2:4 type C2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in filling under post holes etc. complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base , surface finished even and fair without using extra cement including use of necessary form work etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 60mm Pre-cast concrete coloured with glazed finish (Lacquere finished) external interlocking paver block of M-35 grade , having compressive strength 30 N /Sqmm any colour as approved by GE laid dry over sand cushion of average thickness 50 mm duly consolidated, set and levelled the block in proper level with interlocking laid in pavement complete all as specified and directed. Note : The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of sand cushioning for bedding of paver block

S&F of steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washers etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of any description , over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) over a priming coat of red oxide zinc chrome complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: (i) Cost of GI earth wire and GI protection pipe up to 7.5mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for Wire mesh, funnel, excavation, returning & filling, PCC chamber pit, RCC cover & test point. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit. (iv) All accessories required for galvanised steel plate electrode required, as specified and as directed.
