M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth not exceeding 100 mm including removal and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over the prepared surfaces by mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 10 kg per 10 sqm over the prepared surfaces by mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam n. exc. 75 mm consolidated thickness or less using binder content 4% by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen VG-30 grade) including cement filler, mix in hot mix plant using design mix and laid and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) (a) Bituminous macadam shall be mixed in hot plant, transported from plant to work site and laid / spread by means of mechanical paver. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on this basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used in lower side, the rate shall be adjusted . however no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in Sch 'A'

M&L for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense asphaltic concrete with using mechanical paver 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with using 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, (Paving bitumen VG-30) rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonnes power road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Premix concrete shall be mixed in hot plant, transported from plant to work site and laid / spread by means of mechanical paver. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on this basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted lower side of binder used however no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in Sch 'A' / BOQ

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth, n. exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken in roads, path etc by cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (incl supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5 mm thick single coat as a arrow dashes, letters etc,on road or pavement with using retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint of approved make applied with machine all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc, road marking of 150/100 mm width using "HOT MARK" thermo plastic paint (Hot application) white / yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcuim carbonate, inter filler etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be confiming to BS-6086 of MOST/OSCAR specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufacturer's instructions specified and as directed.

S&F in repair of two way solar blinking Cat Eyes (road stud) of size 125 mm x 125 mm x 25 mm, 6 LEDs with stem fixed with chemical as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair plastic speed bumb of ABS material speed beaker / rubber rumbler of size L 750 mm x W 350 mm x H 75 mm fixed with metalic bolt of suitable size embedded in epoxy as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Holes in road shall be drilled with drill machine and necessary cleaning of hole shall be done with blower prior to install the road stud .

S&F in repair safety traffic safe PVC unbrakable convex mirror (60 cm ) made of poly carbonate / ABS / Fibre including fixing arrangements, fixed to MS pipe 50 mm dia and 1.5 mtr high from ground level, duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and embedded in ground with and including PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), excavation, returning, filling, removal etc of size (250 mm x 250 mm x 400 mm) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rate for excavation, removal of soil & PCC complete shall be included in above quoted rate.

S&F in repair solar (Delineators) aluminium alloy and polycarbonate flshing pole mounting with protective cover of Mdoel No.OS-812, dia 80mm x H90mm, 6 LED with stem of make OSCAR and embedded in ground with and including PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), excavation, returning filling, removal etc of size (250 mm x 250 mm x 400 mm) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rate of excavation, removal of soil and PCC complete shall be including in above quoted rate.
