(a) Main & Sub Road Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brushwood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for embankment construction as per specifications of road & bridges works of Ministry of Road Transport & highways (4th revision) & direction of Engineer in charge. This Item is inclusive of Jungle Clearance

Construction of embankment with materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain, Bridge and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2.

Constructin of embankment with mechanically transported good earth from approved borrow area from outside MOD land Lead upto 5.00 Kms as per drawing having minimum soaked CBR of 6% laying in 200 mm thick compacted layer with desired moisture content & compacting with vibratory roller to achieve desired compaction as per clause no. 305 & section no. 900 of specification for road & bridge works of Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways ( 4th revision ) & direction of Engineer - in - Charge.

Construction of sub-grade with moorum (Soaked CBR not less than 10%) from approved quarry transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 as per specifications of road & bridges works of Ministry of Road Transport & highways (4th revision) & direction of Engineer in charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer- in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-25. (In 1 layer 200mm thick.)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (In 2 layers, 1st layer 150mm thick & 2nd layer 100mm thick.)

Providing and applying prime coat with medium setting bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. complete as per as per Technical specification appended here with and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications : On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg/sqm

Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumenof grade VG-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix)and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate)prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPHcapacity.

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binderand filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying withpaver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade,level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory andtandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of gradeVG-30 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) andlime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of Aggregate)prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity. (actual mesurement will be done as per approved construction drawing)

Furnishing and laying of the live sods of perennial turf forming grass on embankment slope, verges or other locations shown on the drawing or as directed by the engineer including preparation of ground, fetching of sods and watering. Turfing should be as per Clause No. 307 of MORTH (5th Revision).

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fittedwith profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater andprofile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface ofall dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mmand disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1km(by mechanical means).

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth. 1.5 m in widthas well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth,lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled andneatly dressed. All kinds of soil

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, leveland curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarses and), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shallbe measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approvedby Engineer-in-charge).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with line sandetc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective sign boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of S.S. -304 angle of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos.S.S. 304 angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to S.S. 304 Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm (S.S. 304) welded with base plate of size100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes inpipes, angles flats, providing & fixing S.S. message plate of required. Providing and fixing of Solar Road Stud With Sank (Size 125x100x25mm) Colour Red, Yellow. , diecast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lens reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road / ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground / road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810.

Driving and positioning of M.S liner in proper place as per tender drawing of approx size 1000 mm dia 3650 mm depth with 6 mm thick MS Plate. The payment for MS liner is catered separatly in BoQ Item No. 33.

Vertical load testing of piles in accordance with IS 2911 (Part IV) including installation of loading platform by Kentledge method and preparation of pile head or construction of test cap and dismantling of test cap after test etc. complete as per specification & the direction of Engineer in-charge and technical specifications and Sections 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700 and 2300 MORTH 5th revn. Providing reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edges of road, approaches to bridge structures and medians,constructed with M40 grade concrete with HYSD reinforcement conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia , 450 mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular No RW/NH-33022/1/94-DO III dated 24th June,1994 and as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer.

(c) Cross Drainage Work (i) Hume Pipe Culvert. Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stoneaggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-4 class (Heavy duty) R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete 1200 mm dia RCC pipes. (Laying by mannual/ machenicalmeans)

Providing and laying boulders apron on river bed for protection against scour with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg each complete as per drawing and Technical specification. (300 mm thick)

(ii) Box Culvert Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stoneaggregate 20 mm nominal size).

(iii) Slab Culvert Providing, hoisting and fixing up to floor five level precast reinforced cementconcrete work in string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks,plain window sills and the like, including the cost of required centering, shuttering but excluding cost of reinforcement, with 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). e) Area Development & Drain Brick work with FPS bricks of class designation 75 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement. 12 mm cement plaster

Road Delineators: Supply and Installation of Delineators (Road Way Indicators), Hazard Markers, Object markers) 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide stripe, fitted with 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflector panels at the top, buried or pressed in to the ground confirming to IRC-79 and the drawings

PVC Speed Breaker: Supply and Installation of PVC Speed Breaker Block piece of size 435 x 490 x 100 mm End piece of size 435 x 220 x 80 mm, weight of Block piece and End piece not less than 15 kg and 4 kg respectively, Compressive Strength : 35 MT including Bolt and Nail all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Arboriculture/Plantation Digging holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume ( 2 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20%: 1part of stacked of manure after reduction by 8%)flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth , if any, with all leads and lifts. Pit size 0.60m x 0.60m x 0.60m (LxWxD)

Supply and Plantation of approved varieties of healthy, disease free, stout stem and well developed root system tree saplings 3mt from basin/ground level, after plantation. Staking the tree saplings up to ¾ height with appropriate strength of bamboo stick. Planting distance between two plants is 12m. Varieties: Banyan, Rain tree, Acacia auriculiformis, Delonix Regia, Peltoforum, Casuarina, Alestonia & Neem.

Maintenance of Tree basin clean from weeds, grass & unwanted vegetation. Regular and adequate watering, proper and strong staking, for a period of six months. Provision of water will be made by the authority.
