Demolition of mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or only a part there of) including cutting or uprooting grass, vegetations and roots of small plants etc on roof floor and surrounding, removing/disposal of retrived materials from site to a distance not exceeding 100 metre and deposited in low lying area as directed complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and labour for cleaning surface of roof, including flashing and junction of parapets etc. by wire brushing, removing all dust and preparing to receive roof padding complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 Kg per Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Racking out joints and pointing to brick tiles, laid flat, on roofs including cleaning and after cleaning the surface, material and labour for Flush pointing to brick tiles, laid flat in roof in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Raking or cutting out joints and decayed mortar etc, not less than 12mm deep, washing the joints, removing rubbish off the premises, and keeping the surface to be pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerb or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges including use and waste of necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing minimum 3 mm thick APP based polymeric waterproofing membrane (minimum weighing 3kg/Sqm), reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm), laid on primed surface by forced application, torching with overlaps as recommended by the manufaturer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) The work to be carried out by authorised applicators of material manufacture. Name of applicator shall be approved by GE on recommendation of AGE.

Supply and fixing two coat of aluminium paint over APP sheet on roof surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any discription and in any position, like roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas, fins, facia and similar suspended works, including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and prepare the surface to casting chajja, slabs, fins, facia etc and including removing rubbish material from site and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(NOTE : Reinforcement and form work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape, required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying chalk whiting and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls/pillars/cornices by scraping down with using mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, brooming and washing down and preparing the surfaces smooth and after that applying 2mm thick wall care putty , after prepare the surface smooth applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying OBD as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls / pillars / cornices by scraping down with using steel patti wire/ brush / sand papering or by any other mean, remove / scraping down all loose particle, smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts, oil & greasy spots etc brooming all dust and washing down with water including applying 2 mm thick wall care putty where required for filling to depressions/nail holes/light cracks etc and to make surface even and smooth and also using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) on uneven surface to make the surface even and smooth (before and after applying putty as per site situation) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surface smooth applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint/colour with using paint brush/roller brush, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Complete removal /scraping to old existing treatment as directed by Engineer-in-charge, each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying CBP as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge in site order book.
