Note 1) The contractor shall follow up with the officials of F&S, CISF,RRCAT security, Civil maintenance cell etc as frequently as required to run the system smoothly.
Note 2) The cost of deploying all labourers, all materials, wastages, tools, tackles, general safety gadgets, all applicable taxes including GST (Goods & Service tax), Corporation tax, Income tax, VAT, Labour cess , all other liabilities as per Contract Labour Act including those stipulated under clause 19 of section 4,section 8 & section 9 of the tender shall be entirely borne by the contractor and nothing on account of all these is admissible as the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Note 3) In case of unsatisfactory quality of work, reduced rate shall be applied as per clause 16 of Section 5 of the tender. The decision of Engineer regarding reduced rate shall be final & binding. Note 4 )In case of non performance of work at any or all locations, recovery shall be made for non performance as per the quoted rate per number basis. In case of saving because of non existence of requirement question of recovery shall not arise.
Management of fire water pumping station in technical area including monitoring & operating 231 hp Diesel Engine Pump set (make-Kirloskar, model No 6SL9088TA 6819088TA),150 hp Main Electric Pump set (Make: Kirloskar, Model No – DSM150/46),two nos, 20 hp Jockey pump set, Zen Airtech make 5 hp Air Compressor set on round the clock basis without any interruption, all in close consultation with the engineer and F&S officials of RRCAT or their authorised representative including deployment of dedicated team (ITI in Mech/Plumbing/Electrical trade) round the clock basis to handle breakdown maintenance/ emergency maintenance, removal & repositioning of installations etc including cost of labourers, supply & use of all minor CONSUMABLE items like welding electrodes/ fluxes, fastener sets, gaskets, minor fittings, sundris, transport of deployed staff to inspect fire line etc
including maintaining the log book, giving daily feed back about the performance of pressurised fire line,valves,pumps etc in addition to all the activities /daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly,yearly maintenance schedule enlisted in the detailed scope of work including carrying out repairs etc as & when required solely to ensure uninterrupted performance of the system etc all complete as per detailed specifications, standard operating procedures with total adherence to labour laws, contract conditions etc complete job as directed by Engineer in Charge BUT EXCLUDING supply & use of all such major items/ spares /sub systems/major repairs/servicing /painting covered in the scope of other item of this schedule which are payable under relevant item.
Note: 1) The payment shall be based on calendar month whether it is of 31 days or less than 31 days.
2) Contractor shall take all necessary measures including training if any, at his cost to assure uninterrupted performance.
3) Engineer in Charge shall have right to disallow any workmen to work without assigning any reason whatsoever.
4) The Contractor has to deploy 02 (two) nos. skilled person with 01(One) no. supervisor in general shift for any type of fire line maintenance work and 01 (one).no. skilled pump operator in each shift. on regular basis at Fire pump house located in technical area.

Providing and fixing Gun metal Landing Valve consisting of stop valve and check nut valve, spindle,hand wheel, instantaneous female outlet fixed at 90 degree off to vertical axis of valve with blank cap fixed to outlet etc. confirming to IS 5290 including testing at 10 Kg/sqcm. for a period of 2 hours with clean water including making necessary flange joints with rubber insertion, bolts and nuts, painted with two coats of paint of approved shade over a coat of primer & remving of old damaged existing Landing Valve etc. complete all as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge.
Supply and erection of 20/25 mm GM air release cock, with necessary GI coupling to be fitted on top of Air vessel or on wet riser including removing of old existing air release cock all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Welding of M.S. Pipe line or any other member of any size any-where in RRCAT premises at all heights including scraping of existing worn out joint welding of joints using approved electrodes to achieve 3mm weld thickness of required weld length including removing flux, debris etc., painting one coat of steel primer touch up, grinding of joint before painting including safe removing & refixing of glass if necessary etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying & Installation of best Indian make Pressure gauge for fire line including making joints, supplying all jointing materials including providing & fixing 3/8 " S S ball valve, 3/8 " brass,elblow nipple,bush & remving of old / damaged existing Pressure gauge etc complete including testing the pressure gauge & joints to 16 kg per Sq cm pressure with clean & potable water with minimum testing period of two hours duration, all as complete as per drawing and specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Repainting of old painted surfaces of C I /M S water line of specified diameter with two coats of compatible synthetic enamel/flat oil paint of approved shade & preferred make including preparing the surfaces, including removal of old paint, if any, sand papering, filling hair cracks with putty and other cracks with 'Roffe' repair mortar, primer as required, scaffolding & cleaning, cost of all materials, labour, all complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
