COMPREHENSIVE REPAIR AND DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEM, ALLIED WORKS AND CONNECTED E/M INSTALLATIONS WK IN WEST OF MALL ROAD EXCEPT MAP UNDER GE (EAST) JALANDHAR CANTT

Takign down ACSR of any type and any size by opening binding wires, removing outgoing electric connections by opening cable connections, removing spacers as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The decision of Engr-in-charge will be final and binding regarding the no of spans/ length and no. of phase or neutral conductors to be removed/ taken down from site.

Supply and fixing in replacement aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of size ferret/ Mink or other size reqd at site in reqd length/ span for overhead lines on poles stretching/ stringing without kinks and bends, including aluminium binding wire binding with (rates inclusive), jumpers , line tapes and making necessary outgoing cable connections etc complete all as specifed and directed. Note :- 1. The ACSR shall have to be fixed at different locations in different lengths. At some locations, single ACSR have to be changed. The contractor has to quote his rate accordingly. Nothing extra will be paid on account of this and No claim will be entertained. For payment purpose weight of ACSR conductor shall be considered.

M&L in replacement for GI pipe light grade 50mm dia bore with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement GI pipe light grade 80mm dia bore with all reqd fittings complete all as speciifed and directed.

Attending day to day complain for attending complaint for AOR of west of mall road of LT electric distribution network UG /OH of all nature like No light, faulty insulator, broken conductor& cable fault , burnt out MCCB`s, MCBs, isolators, switch fuses, service cables etc upto DB in buildings/OTM in east of mall of road area complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of aluminium lugs saddle of any size for fixing of cables on walls, for finishing work and all fixing accessories required for rectifying the complaints items are included in the rate quoted by contractor. Note ‘A’:- (i) Cost of materials for laying of cables strecthing of OH conductor, burnt out MCBs, MCCB`s will be measured and paid separately under relevant items as supply only being labour element is deemed to be included in the cost for said item. (ii) All T&P required for electrification work shall be provided by contractor at own arrangements to the trades supply only. (iii) Contractor will deploy following well experienced and well conversant manpower against this item during round the clock (03 shifts) Electrician -01 No & Helper -02 Nos at a time for attending LT distribution complaint all working days including Sunday & all Holidays. Note for items No 05

(i) The contractor may have to provided additional resources as per the direction of Engr-in-Charge for speedy disposal of complaints as and when required. Penal recovery at the rate of Rs 500/- per complaint per hour will be levied from the contractor in case of late attending of complaint after reasonable time or 2 hours whichever is more as decided by Engr-in-Chage/GE. (ii)Attendence register and status of done complain and pending complain will be put up to Engr in Charge on daily basis. (iii) The scope of work covered all complaints received from above concern complain cell will be lodged/docketed/attended/completed. The completion will be rendered on complaint register as well as on docket and same shall be produced at the time of payment. Nature of fault may occurs given below:- O/H conductor broken Broken jumpers Tightening of stay Stretching of broken loose fault conductor and binding on insulators up to 3 span Contractor will provide all the tools such as HT/LT meggar, Insulation Tester, Wrench, Rope, Bamboo ladder, search light and other tools and will maintain them in working condition all the time. Tightening of service connection as preventive maintenance Proper Uniform shall be provided by the contractor for pers employed on duty with mark on BACK SIDE MES ELECTRICIAN as desired by Engr-in-Charge.

Tracing fault manually in LT OH electric lines and underground cable network. AC Complaints like connection / disconnecting Fault LT switchgears Any other electric complaint which is considered essential by the department. Confirmation on completion of any nature of major complaints will be intimated to JE concerned to the area or Engr-in-Charge immediately. Contractor will prepare the summary of complaints attended on monthly basis as per performa given by Engr-in-Charge. The summary will be submitted to Engr-in-Carge duly signed by JE and contractor at the end of month. The contractor will observe all labour laws as prevalent during the currency of work enacted by Central/State Deptt as well as Labour Commissioner Act. He shall also ensure, payment of minimum wages to the persons employed as per labour laws in vogue. Insurance, Education Qualification and experience cert for the personnel employed on duty shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge before take over the installation. The contractor will provide the rain coats, gum boot and hand gloves in winter and summer season. Contractor will have no rights to object the work carrying out by other contractor at substation or HT/LT distribution system of the power house area under comprehensive maintenance. However necessary handing taking over the assets will be carried out between the agencies.

Contractor will provdie phone for contact to deployed electrician and inform to deptt at the time of approval of documents for make necessary contact by complain cell and Contractor will provide vehicle, ladder,reqd FOL any other tools & plants required at site at his own costs nothing extra will be admissible on account of this. Note: 1. 500/- shift if complaint team found without tools and safety equipments. 2) Rs 1000/- and Rs 500/- per elect and helper if found absence from duty

Detecting of fault in cable LT with fault locator equipment which is capable to supply as per cable of HT/LT (11 KV/430 Volts) serviceable to cable with Straight through joint of size 95-300 Sqmm. Notes (a) The LT fault which is detected through cable fault locator will only be paid under this item including transportation charges demed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) Charge of cable fault locator and DG set including transportation charge deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) fault locator will be provided by the contractor for even single LT fault and no delay on this account will be acceptable otherwise penalty will levied Rs 500/ per hour. (d) LT Straight through joint , 95 to 300, sqm will be paid separetly , Labour charges, excavation and making joint deemed to be including in quoted rate.

Taking down/ out unserviceable UG cables of any cross sectional area, any type, any make from trench/ from wall/pole/fixed with walls/ incl pulling through pipe by opening connections and joints including removing pipe, carefully getting out bricks etc keeping aside for re-use complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earthwork shall be measured and paid under relevant items of BOQ.
