Preparation of new wood or wooden surface of any description not othrwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed

Note for item No 7 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base, sub floor etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 107:- (a) The signage board should be installed in ground using two numbers Aluminium pipe of dia 50 mm of length not lesss than 45 Cm below ground level fixed stainless steel bolts duly embedded on concrete base of 150mm thick Plain cement concrete(1:2:4) type B1using 20mm graded stone aggregates (for legs) including necessary excavation, earth work.

(b) The concrete base and leg foundation should be 20-25mm above the ground level and shall be chamfered from the concrete base to not less than 30cm below the strip surface area.

( c) Suitable stainless steel bolts with 12 mm thick MS plates duly embedded in the concrete base with a provision to fix signage board leg.

(d) Efficiency of LED shall have delivered minimum output 100 lumens per watt and colour temperature should be more than 5000 Kelvin with proper heat dissipation.

(e)These aluminum PCB’s should be placed across the length of the board in order to ensure uniform distribution of light across the board.

(f)The signage boards shall be suitable for operation on series circuit at variable current from 2.8Amp - 6.6Amp (brightness of the signage should be constant with current variation).

(g) All the signage board shall have letters and symbols made by computerized cutting of vinyl and pasting on the polycarbonate sheet from inside/outside of the sign board of required color front and back side.

(h)Supply and fixing internal wiring using secondary cable of size 2.5 sqmm/2.5 mtr long (Approx)

(k) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for cost of labour for installation of following items:- (i) isolating transformer - 1 No, (ii) primary connector kit 2 Nos (iii) secondary connector kit-1 No. Howevrer, the above materials shall be measured and paid under relevant items as supply only.

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of LED based aircraft guidance/mandatary/informative signage board of area not less than 0.94 sqm made out of 2mm thick anodized aluminum sheet having minimum width of 150mm and supported at back side by 50mm dia die cast aluminum pipe for separation and frangible coupling as per ICAO standards duly fixed with one alphapatic letter in one board using 4mm thick glare free polycarbonate sheet at front and back of side of board (Double sided) including provision of light source of 0.5 W or equivalent assembled on each board with required PCB with highly luminous having long life ie not less than 50,000 Hrs. complete all as per ICAO standards/ Annexure14 Volume I and as per specifications given below:

Note for Item No 117:- (a) The signage board should be installed in ground using two numbers Aluminium pipe of dia 50 mm of length not lesss than 45 Cm below ground level fixed stainless steel bolts duly embedded on concrete base of 150mm thick Plain cement concrete(1:2:4) type B1using 20mm graded stone aggregates (for legs) including necessary excavation, earth work.

(b) The concrete base and leg foundation should be 20-25mm above the ground level and shall be chamfered from the concrete base to not less than 30cm below the strip surface area.

( c) Suitable stainless steel bolts with 12 mm thick MS plates duly embedded in the concrete base with a provision to fix signage board leg.

(d) Efficiency of LED shall have delivered minimum output 100 lumens per watt and colour temperature should be more than 5000 Kelvin with proper heat dissipation.

(e)These aluminum PCB’s should be placed across the length of the board in order to ensure uniform distribution of light across the board.

(f)The signage boards shall be suitable for operation on series circuit at variable current from 2.8Amp - 6.6Amp (brightness of the signage should be constant with current variation).

(g) All the signage board shall have letters and symbols made by computerized cutting of vinyl and pasting on the polycarbonate sheet from inside/outside of the sign board of required color front and back side.

(h)Supply and fixing internal wiring using secondary cable of size 2.5 sqmm/2.5 mtr long (Approx)

(k) The quote rate shall be demmed to be inclusive for installation of following items:- (i) isolating transformer - 1 No, (ii) primary connector kit 2 Nos (iii) secondary connector kit-1 No. However, the above materials shall be measured and paid under relevant supply only items specified here in after.
