Price Centre B - Supply of Permanent Way Materials
1.Site Specific Design development, Manufacture, supply of Standard Gauge Turnouts, trap switches and Scissors crossover with 60 KG (60E1) rails on ballastless track structure with all fittings and fastenings as per the Technical Specifications and as per the drawings approved by the Engineer, Mechanised handling, loading/unloading, customs clearance, transportation and stacking as per the Manufacture's recommendations and as agreed by the Engineer at Contractor's developed and maintained Storage Yard in Chennai.
1. a) Mainline requirements
(i)' Turnout 1 in 9 R 300
(ii)'Turnout 1 in 7 R 190
(iii)1 in 9 R 300 Scissors crossover with 5.0m Track centres (All components from SRJ to SRJ inlcuding 4 turnouts and diamond crossings)
(iv)'1 in 7 R 190 Scissors crossover with 11.65m Track centres (All components from SRJ to SRJ including 4 turnouts and diamond crossings)
2. Design, Manufacture, supply of Standard Gauge fastening system suitable for 60 KG (60E1 profile) rails on ballastless track structure as per the Technical Specifications and as per the drawings approved by Engineer, Mechanised handling, loading/unloading, transportation, customs clearance and stacking as per the Manufacture's recommendations and as agreed by the Engineer at Contractor's developed and maintained Storage Yard in Chennai.
(i) 2 holes base plate assembly system
(ii)4 holes base plate assembly system
(iii)'Combined Check rail chair with components
(iv)'low toe load fasteners
3. Design, Manufacture and supply of Insulated Rail Joints suitable for 60 KG, 60E1, 1080 HH rails on ballastless track structure as per the Technical Specifications and as per the drawings approved by Engineer. (excluding the cost of 60KG, 1080 HH rails, which can be used from the rails taken over from CP19 contractor)
4. Design, Manufacture, supply of Buffer stops as per the Technical Specifications and Employer's requirement, Mechanised handling, lifting and lowering and stacking of Buffer stops as per the Manufacture's recommendations and as agreed by the Engineer at Contractor's developed and maintained Storage Yard in Chennai
(i)for Mainline with 25 kmph impact speed

5. Supply of spare switches and crossings (with extended legs)
(i)1 in 9 R300 Turnout with full set of fittings and fastenings (Switch and crossing shall have extended legs - excluding lead rails and lead rail fittings)
(ii)1 in 7 R190 Turnout with full set of fittings and fastenings (Switch and crossing shall have extended legs - excluding lead rails and lead rail fittings)
(v)Diamond crossing for 1 in 9 R 300 with fittings ( two obtuse and two acute crossings with fittings and with extended legs)
(vi)Diamond crossing for 1 in 7 R 190 with fittings ( two obtuse and two acute crossings with fittings and with extended legs)
(viii)Switch rollers for turnouts ( for one complete turnout)
Description of Work / Item(s)
Price Centre C - Installation of Track works in Elevated, UG and Depot sections
1. Laying RCC slab/RCC plinth with/without derailment guard with M35 approved design Mix as per the Site specific Construction//Working Drawings prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer, drilling and fixing the shear connectors as per the approved drawings and methodology in the 1st stage concrete laid by the civil contractor, installation of track work for plain track with 60E1, 1080 grade HH rails with all fittings and fastenings etc. complete in Underground section, including handling, transportation, lowering/lifting of rails and fastenings complete (Bored Tunnel and cut and cover) from the storage yard to the site of Installation and maintenance of installed track during the defect liability period.
(i)plain track
(iii) rate over and above ( item No.1(i)), for the Design, supply and installation of approved Mass spring system between 1st and 2nd stage concrete in tunnel and Box section for width and length as required and validation of installed MSS after installation and maintenance of installaed track during defect liability period.

2. Laying RCC slab/RCC plinth with derailment guard with approved M35 design Mix as per the Site specific Construction//Working Drawings prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer, installation of track work for plain track with 60E1, 1080 grade HH rails with all fittings and fastenings etc. complete in Elevated and Elevated ramp section including handling, transportation, lowering/lifting of rails and fastenings complete from the storage yard to the site of Installation and maintenance of installed track during the defect liability period.
(i)'where shear connectors are already provided
(ii)rate over and above, if shear connectors are to be provided by the track contractor
(iii)rate over and above (2-(i)) , for the installation of track plinth having check rail arrangement with 33 C1 rail & UIC 60 Rails with baseplates as per the approved design and drawings.
4. Laying RCC Turnout slab with approved M35 design mix as per the Site-specific Construction Drawing/Working Drawings prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer, drilling and fixing the shear connectors as per the approved drawing and methodology in the 1st stage concrete laid by the Civil Contractor and installation of turnout, Trap switches, scissors crossover with 60E1, 1080 grade HH rails with all fittings and fastenings etc. complete in Underground section including handling, transportation, lowering/lifting of lead rails, turnouts and fastenings complete from the storage yard to the site of installation and maintenance of installed track during the defect liability period.

9.Payment for all expenditure over and above for plinth/slab height specified in Tender drawings and as explained in the Explanatory notes to BOQ for the Elevated and Underground sections
10. Installation of buffer stop at the appropriate location as per the approved drawings duly shifting the buffer stops from the storage yard, leading, lifting, lowering with contractors men, materials and consumables and its maintenance during the defect liability period.

11.Dismantling, shifting and refixing of already installed Buffer stop to facilitate part usage of tracks including all lead and lift

Price Centre D - Other works
Developing the Rail storage yard as per the approved drawing with proper drainage arrangement, proper lighting, safety and security arrangement at locations nominated by the Engineer for stacking the 60 E1, 1080 HH rails, with contractors own men, materials and consumables etc., (including the embedded rails), Creating and maintaining (i) proper access road (ii) safety and security arrangements including fencings, (iii) round the clock watch and ward for the entire duration of contract, (iv) storage insurance for the rails etc.,and (v) dismantling and reinstating to the original conditions after removal of all rails. (the area for developing the stacking bed will be provided by the Engineer free of cost);
Taking over the 60E1, 1080 HH rails from CP19 Contractor with proper accountal at the developed stacking area (imported rails in the trailer will be handedover to the track work contractor by CP19 contractor at the stacking area), unbundling the rails from the trailer, unloading and stacking the rails at the developed area as per RDSO drawing and specification
Supply and Installation and maintenance of lubricant applicator for the sharp curves as approved by the Engineer for a period of 2 years from the date of commissioning of revenue operation.
Office accommodation to the Employer's Representative as per the specifications (Part2 ,Section VI Appendix 13)for the use of Site Engineer and supporting staff, Inclusive of maintenance, power supply, water, drainage etc. as directed by Engineer
Carrying out Preventive rail grinding to remove mill scale with the Contractor's Rail Grinding Machine
Applying IPN coating on the finished track plinth/track slab surface in Underground and elevated sections with Contractors own men and materials and consumables after final cleaning and finishing of all works complete at the locations nominated by the Engineer
Supply and Installation of 150mm dia ductile iron class K-9 pipes socket-spigot push-on-joint Centrifugally cast (spun) /dectile iron pipes confirming to IS 8329 in tunnel section for drainage with all fitting and connections, including handling, transportation, lifting/lowering etc., as per the drawings approved by the Engineer
