86231 SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROAD AT SOUTH CAMPUS AFMC IN FRONT OF PROJECT QTR NO. 01 AND 05, BLDG NO. 178, 179, CCM BLACK TOP SURFACE, DHANVANTARI AUDITORIUM HARD STANDING AND ALLIED WORK IN THE AOR OF AFMC UNDER GE (CENTRAL) PUNE.

IMPORTANT NOTES : (i) Contractor are requested to note that IRI Value test (Road Roughness) as mentioned in Schedule 'A' Notes on Ser. Page No. 19 of Tender documents against Phase-I will be carried out before execution and after completion of BM / DAC / SDAC. (ii) The quoted rates for the IRI value test is deemed to be included against the relevant BOQ items for BM / DAC / SDAC. (iii) No extra cost / amount will be admissible on this account.

Repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (incl supply of metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm of VG-10, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 KG per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth/ deep exc 50mm and not exc 100mm and removing scarified material to a distance not exc. 50 mtr and stacking wherever directed all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying 75mm or less thickness (consolidated thickness) premixed bituminous macadam (design mix) with crushed and graded coarse stone aggregate filler and sand (fine aggregate) mixed with 4% binder content (using paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix) mixing bituminous macadam in the hot mix mechanical plant and laid with mechanical paver complete rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : (i) Mixing of BM shall be carried out in Hot Mix plant & laying, spreading of BM shall be carried out uniformly by using automatic type sensor paver. (ii) The design mix for BM considering bitumen content as specified shall be carried out from any one of the Institution as specified in particulars specifications & cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. (iii) The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per design mix approved by GE)

M&L for applying evenly a priming tack coat of hot paving bitumen (grade VG-10) @ 7.5 Kg/10 Sqm by using mechanical sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming tack coat of hot paving bitumen (grade VG-10) @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm by using mechanical sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with @ 5.0 % binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. (Note : (i) Quantity of the Bitumen shall be provided as per design-mix approved by GE. (ii) Design mix for SDAC considering bitumen content as specified shall be carried out by Contractor from any one of the institution as specified in Particulars Specifications. (iii) Contractor shall submit the authenticated weight batch receipt as per load material in site duly marked vehicle No.)

M&L for preparation of New/Old Road surface and applying thermoplastic retro-reflective paint for making of 2.5 mm thick as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop line, dashes, arrows etc. road marking of 150/100 mm width using Hot application white or golden yellows by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all in gradient such as binder, glass beads, pigments such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be confirming to MORTH specification (BS 3262-1989) including spraying of glass beads etc. all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F two way cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 24mm / 100mm x 100mm x 20mm having reflective panel - Amber, Red or White. The stud shall be fixed to the road surface using the installation procedure as the clean surface using the installation procedure as the clean the surface, mark the points, grout the holes and clean surface again and apply appropriate adhesive / epoxy with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructionscomplete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Old unserviceable stud / cat eyes shall be contractor's property as per schedule of credit.)

Supply and fix solar stud (cat eye) of aluminum alloy shell (100% water proof design according to IP 67) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (with a shank of 65mm) and clour red / yellow of high efficiency Mono -crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one Ni-Mh or NI-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of six super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 (Millicandela) of Model No. DA-110. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the installation procedure as the clean the surface, mark the points, grout the holes and clean the surface again and apply appropriate adhesive / epoxy as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Makes for solar stud (cat eye) shall be got approved by GE prior to procurement.)
