PROVISION OF STREET LIGHT ON APPROACH ROAD TO DSC ACCN AT INS VAJRAKOSH, NAVAL BASE, KARWAR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth for laying/taking out cable and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/soil not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT underground XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor,1100 volts grade of cross-sectional area 25 Sqmm, 4 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) of 1988 laid in trenches/ wall/ floors/ ducts etc fixed with saddle and clamps or passing through pipes complete with cable and connection with proper thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers all as specified and directed. NOTE: Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning and PCC cover for cable protection will be measured & paid for seperately under relevant items of Schedule.

Supply and lay un-reinforced pre-cast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1, flat, size 250 x 150 x 40 mm complete all as directed.

Supply and spread dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I. NOTE: Punned thickness of sand only will be measured & paid.

S & F MCCB 4 pole 100 Amp 415 V, rupturing capacity 35 KA fixed in existing panel and connected to bus bar and including suitable incoming bus bar all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Legrand Cat No-420095 or equivalent in Siemens, L&T (Sentren), ABB (isomax series)

Supply and lay GI tubing light grade as in cable protection laid in trenches, etc complete all as directed of following sizes all as specified and directed:

(a) 50 mm bore

(b) 40 mm bore

Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position steel tubular swaged pole 9.00 m long, 410 SP-31 complete with cast iron base plate pole cap, MS bolt, nuts and screws, welded and reduced section and longitudinal weld seam through out entire length of pole including 2 coats of black bituminous paint, throughout internally and externally up to planting depth and remaining exterior porition of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, numbering of all lighting poles compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for MS single arm bracket for fixing the street light fitting all as specified and directed.

S & F LED Street light fitting complete of 90 watt Pressure die cast aluminium housing all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Bajaj cat part No BRTFG 90W LED luminaires with IP66 or equivalent in Phillips/CG.

S & F PVC insulated and sheathed copper multistranded cable 3 core, 2.5 sqmm, heavy duty through or on pole connecting to cable looping box of street light fitting all as specified & directed.

S & F FRP cable looping boxes with PVC sheet finish inside including one MCB 6 Amp, heavy duty connector for connection of 4 core cable & fixed to pole with suitable size FI clamp with nuts , bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Sintex or as approved by GE.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling of pole or mass concrete complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as incoping of pole in any situation all as specified.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron wire 4 mm dia as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts, checknuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR-Part 1 of 2009 connected to earthing test point including testing on completion all as specified and as directed. NOTE: The unit rate shall be deemed to include for necessary excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 15 mm bore for protection of GI wire from earth electrode to and including the earth test point of galvanized iron/steel of size 75 x 75 x 25 mm, supplying and laying charcoal dust, common salt, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 chamber and MS angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 3 mm and RCC cover 40 mm thick(1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6 mm dia round bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12 mm dia, funnel and wire mesh with GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing of 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
