Dismantling old unserviceable steel poles/Strut any size and shifting n.exceeding 50 meters for setting aside for disposal action all as specified and directed .

Dismantling old unserviceable concrete pole/Strut any size and shifting n.exceeding 50 meters for setting aside for disposal action all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for erection of steel tubular swaged pole 9 mtr long with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP 31, including painting the poles with alternate layer of 30 cm, black and yellow paint with synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5 mtr above from the coping complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for prestressed cement concrete pole 9 mtr long, 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 102 mm x 289 mm at bottom class-10 complete, erected truly in vertical position and painting the poles with alternate layer of 30 cm, black and yellow paint with synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5 mtr above from the coping complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling aluminium conductor of LT OH line after unbinding from insulators for replacement/re-stringing of damaged conductors including seggregating serviceable/unserviceable conductors for re-use or for shifting to MES store for taking credit to contractor all as specified and as directed.

Restringing of dismantled aluminium conductor on LT OH line with new aluminium binding wire including stretching with 3% sag, re-connecting of all cables disconnected jumpers with proper jointing with binding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement ACSR of LT OH line including securing with insulators using aluminium binding wire, jointing jumpers etc including all disconnected cables, jumpers with proper binding complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling earth wire from LT OH line after unbinding from pole for re-use or for shifting to MES store for taking credit to contractor all as specified and as directed.

Restringing and restretching dismantled earth wire from LT OH line including securing with insulators using GI binding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanised steel earth wire of service feeder or distributor span of street light polesincluding binding with insulators using GI binding wire, jointing jumpers etc including connections of incoming and out going cables complete all as specified and as directed .

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc from LT poles complete and setting aside for re-use or shifting to MES store for taking credit to contractor all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only the cross arms items with supports/ angle iron frame etc incl nut, bolt, washer, welding, bending, hot or cold drilling holes for insulators bolts in any size or shape complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed ,welding and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and taking old/UNSV stay assembly including Stay wire and insulator complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement stay assembly complete with MS stay plate of size 300x300x6mm thick, stay rod 20 mm dia, stay bow, nuts, bolts and check nuts of GI all as shown in EP No 01 of SSR Part-I, 2009 ( Excavation, PCC, saty wire and loop type insulators will be measured separately) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacmement galvanized stay strand of 7/4mm size complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation of poles, trenches for laying of cable, or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 76 above but n exc 1.5 m wide and exc 1.5 m and n exceeding 3.0 m in depth complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposting where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as required and directed.

Supply of brick sub class 'B' laid dry in trenches over the cable adjoining each other widthwise for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of sand 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable to trenches complete all as specified and directed .

Material and Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregrate for coping of poles including necessary form work complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregrate for foundation filling as mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregrate for foundation of poles ,stay wire complete all as specified.

M&L in replacement PVC insulated, FR PVC round sheathed, stranded Copper flexible conductor industrial cable,1100 volts grade, confirming to IS 694, 3 core, 1.5 sqmm for connecting light fitting with junction box or OH conductor drawn through and including provision of rigid PVC conduit of 20 mm duly secured with pole by means of MS clamps at 1 meter distance all as specified complete and as directed.

Trimming up of tree branches upto 3 mtr all around LT overhead lines including provision of cutting tools, supports and safety equipments, removing cut branches from site as directed . Note :- (i) The overhead lines shall be kept 3 meter clearance from the tree branches. (ii) Permission for shut down shall be informed to the concerned substation prior to the trimming and written permit shall be obtained by the contractor. (iii) Measurement shall be accountable for trimmed span only

Restretching ACSR, GI wire of LT OH line runing on poles by means of pulling jack maintaining sag not more than 3% in each span including replacment all binding wires in between all span and on terminations including jointing of all cable, jumper connection provided with new binding wire or jumpers complete all as specified and as directed.

Boring of Holes under road, Pavement, hard Standing bymanual/ trenchless technology using ultra Sound technique and necessary machine including providing and insertion of HDPE pipe, 100mm dia all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level)with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected by 25X4 mm GI strip as earth lead by means of nuts and bolt,thimbles, check nuts, washers of GI or steel including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate,with fair finish,internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x 300 mm dia,15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire guage mesh ,80 mm thick RCC pit cover 320mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM jelly and charcoal ,dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part -1 (1991) and specified including provision of GI strip upto 7.5 metre long protected by 40 mm dia medium grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade ,including all excavation and earth work and connecting the earthing to an earthing test point and to main switch board as specified and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. by Engr-In-Charge. Note: RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC (1:2:4) type B1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover.
