Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance : Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance of Street Lights, Garden Lights, Terminal box, Security lights, Feeders and Service Mains. Attending faults of street lights fixed in 8.5 Mtr J-type pole, Garden lights fixed in 3.8 M of pole height and Security lights by replacing defective components such as lamps(70W /150W Watt sodium vapor lamp, 80Watt M.V. lamp, 150W/ 250W/ 400W Metal Hallide lamp, Igniter, holders, chokes, capacitors etc. Overhauling of Terminal box of street lights and Garden light by cleaning the box, tightening all the connections. Fixing the gland if necessary cleaning and painting the fixing clamp, tightening earthing wire. If required replacing the terminal box etc. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance of 500 KVA Substation, substation equipment, feeder pillars such as cleaning with blower for dust removal (blower to be arranged by the contractor) of all the switchgears, contacts, checking all the lugs, applying contact grease for fuse gears, joints and terminals etc. Preventive & breakdown maintenance of service mains and LT panels installed at BARC Colony, Ware House, Total 192 Nos. cleaning the LT switch gears and contacts with blower for dust removal. Checking all the connections, tightening all the connection including neutral connection. If required replacing lugs, glands, SFU switches, fuse carrier, fuse base etc. Preventive & breakdown maintenance of motor starters such as DOL and Star-Delta Starter installed at pump house and various location of BARC Colony . Preventive & breakdown maintenance of Fire alarm system at pump house , Substation , Shoping complex and TTA Geust House. Attending Electrical complaints of residential flats and common service buildings, ware house in BARC Staff Colony, Tarapur. Excavation, Cable laying work, Heavy material handling work. Welding of flange, pipe, bend at Pump house, repairing of feeder pillar, repairing of 'J' type pole etc. To execute the above work daily 10 skilled persons and 04 unskilled persons are required on daily basis and same is counted as one operation for 8 hours. Operation required per month = 23 ope. Total operations required for 2 years = 23 x 24 = 552 ope.

Operation of HT and LT switchgears in RTC Operation of HT and LT switchgears for power supply to BARC Colony attending power supply failure complaints and breakdown complaints at residential flats, TTA Offices, Feeder Pillars, M.V. Panels, Motors and starters at Pump House and ST plant, Attending breakdown and power failure of 11 KV / 415 volts, 500 KVA substations etc. One skilled labor required for one Operation i.e for 8 hours. Operation required on daily basis = 3 nos. Total days in Two year = 365 x 2 = 730 days Total operations required for Two year = 3 x 730 = 2190 ope.

Operation of pumps at Pump House in RTC The work includes operation of pumps as per the schedule up keeping of under ground & over head tanks minor maintenance work of pump gland, greasing pump etc. taking readings of MIDC daily. In operation the above job can be done by one skilled labor Operation required on daily basis = 3 nos. Total days in Two years = 365 x 2 = 730 days Total operations required for Two year = 3 x 730 = 2190 ope.

Supervision & Documentation work

Supervisior : Diploma Engineer to assist the electrical job of department and jobs taken on contract. Electricity bill of residential flats, shops and functions, water bill etc. To work on daily basis and same is counted as one operation.i.e for 8 hours. Operation required per month = 23 ope. Total operations required for two year = 23 x 24 = 552 ope.

Documentation : Keeping leave record, OT record correspondance with various agency, assist to prepare estimate, CST and all papers related to tender etc. To execute the above work daily 2 skilled persons are required on daily basis (one skilled person should have minimum 5 years Experience in relavent work) and same is counted as one operation for 8 hours. Operation required per month = 25ope. Total operations required for two year = 25 x 24 = 600 ope.

Providing truck with driver for shifting material from ware house stores to BARC Staff colony & BARC plant site.

Filtration of Transformer Oil : Filtration of Transformer Oil up to the required BDV is obtained in Transformer at Sub-stations in BARC Staff colony Tarapur. The contractor has to arrange calibrated filtering machine for transformer of capacity 11KV / 433V, 500 KVA, quantity of oil max –1000 litre. Testing the BDV value of transformer oil of all the transformers at BARC colony i.e. 4 Nos. The contractor has to arrange calibrated BDV test machine at the work site. He has to submit the calibration certificate of the machine before BDV test carried out. The contractor should submit test report of BDV values obtained.

Cable Jointing

Supply of cable Jointing Kit heat shrinkable RAYCHEM make only tubular sleeve type for MV cable 1100 V grade from 10 mm² to 50 mm². Jointing the cable by arranging skilled cable jointer, crimping tool and all the materials required for jointing. Taking megger / IR value/ after and before jointing work.

Rewinding of Ceiling fan of 48” Sweep and 56” Sweep 60 to 100 watt including removing of old defective winding, cleaning the stator, providing paper insulation, rewinding with super enameled copper wire of required gauge, binding the winding, lead wire connection, provide fiber glass sleeves, varnishing the winding with Dr. Beck golden varnish and drying the motor stator, cleaning the same stator and testing the winding.

Laying of 1.1KV LT Cable Laying of 1.1KV LT Cable, PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, Armoured cable at a depth of 900 mm below the ground level including Excavation of trench of size 500 x 900 mm in all types of soils, laying the cable, covering with Baked Bricks and Sand at sides and on top and backfilling the trench and removing the excess earth including taking the cable through sleeve and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge(Elec) E.M.C. of cable size 16 mm2 x 4 core to 300 mm2 x 31/2 core. (1) Excavation of Trench of size 500 x 900 mm for 1 meter

Excavation

Excavation in all types of soils with JCB for cable jointing work or exposing the cable for diverting the route etc. or as directed by EIC (Elec) for excavation.

Borewell Pump Sets There are total 15 Nos. of Bore wells in BARC Staff Colony, having depth from 70 feet to 180 feet and these bore wells are installed with Submersible bore well pump sets suitable for 6” dia. bores and G.I. Pipes of 2½ dia, Class, ‘C’ , with coupling and bend. In case of replacement of defective pump set, the existing defective pump set has to be removed by dismantling of pipelines and reinstallation of pipelines with replacement of defective pump set by repaired or new pump set issed by the department at Electrical Workshop at Pump House in Colony.The estimated cost of replacement of defective pump set will be as follows.

Dismantling of defective pump set from the distribution line, removing all the connected pipes with Tripod and Chain pully block and clamps upto the depth of pipe line of 150 feet. Fixing of motor to end pipes and installation of Repaired/ New pump set with the same disconnected pipes with applying Holdtight.

Rewinding : Rewinding of 5 H.P. To 7.5 H.P., 3 Phase, 415 Volts, A.C., 50 Hz., 2880 R.P.M. upto 8 stage Submersible Pump motor including supply of all the materials labour charges, transportation etc.

Overhauling of Submersible bore well pump set (motor and pump), 6” dia, of 5 H.P. to 7.5 H.P. capacity, 3 phase, 415 Volts, A.C., 50 Hz, 2880 R.P.M. including replacing of bush bearing, thrust bearing, checking impellers, NRV etc. including cleaning for free motion, replacing the coupling studs and nuts and painting the set with Anti-corrosive synthetic enamel paint and testing the same with noise free operation including opening the set and re-assembling the same.

Position Cement Concrete:- Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4(1 cement, 2 coarse sand, 4 coarse aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation , finishing curing etc. Complete as per specification and drawings, but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering.

Brick Work:-Provding and constructing brick work in Cement mortar using standard bricks of approved class/ quality, make or brand in foundation and plinth including curing, raking out joints, simultaneous pointing below plinth level if specified, complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-incharge. Brick work in C.M 1:6 using crushed sand.

Plastering Work:-Providing 20 mm thick Internal plastering in C.M without cement punning 1:4 (using crushed sand) finished smooth, including sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of the surface, scaffolding, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site complete.

Painting

Supply of paint, primer (red oxide) and Painting of M.S. stepped tubular J type Street lighting Poles of 9.8 Mtr. Height including cleaning the old paint with scrubber, wire brush, emery paper etc. Applying one coat of primer, two coats of silver paint. Bottom of the pole i.e. from ground level up to one Mtr. length should be painted with black paint including the terminal box. Surface area of each pole = 2.8 M²

Supply of paint, primer (red oxide) and Painting of medium voltage Feeder Panels from inside and outside. Cleaning, scrapping , Painting of Medium voltage Feeder panels including scrapping with scrapper, wire brush and emery paper and cleaning . Applying one coat of primer Red Oxide from inside and outside. Applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint inside and outside painting the feeder pillar and painting the Feeder Piller No. on feeders.

Painting of Ceiling fans of various make and size of 48’ and 56” Sweep including scraping old paint, cleaning the surface of blades, motors, down rod, canopy etc with Emery paper, making the surface smooth, applying putty, if necessary, again cleaning the surface, applying one coat of primer (Red Oxide) of Asian make and two coats of white/off white super set auto paint, decco of Esssde make. The painting should be done with spray machine only including all the materials, tools, machine labour, cleaning materials such Emery paper, cotton waste etc.

Cutting of Bituminous Road Cutting of Bituminous Road of size 0.6 x 0.9 x 10 M providing and laying 150mm hume pipe and repairing the road by concreting with 1:2:4 concrete material up to the level as original one.

Reparing of 90/60watt LED Street light fixture including replacement of spare parts if any.

Supply, installation, testing & Guarantee of 100 mm (4") S.S. Body presure gauge range from 0-10 kg/cm² Hi-tech make-fixing with a screw down gun metal Valves confirming to IS 778 of size 15 mm N.B. Fixing the pressure guage & valve with a heavy quality GI pipe of Class-C of length 500 mm including fiting of elbow, collars, coupling by drilling, taping and welding work and painting of above fitting etc.
