| 5.00 | Material and labour for cleaning and removal of blockages in sewage lines of any diameter, length and depth from gully trap (GT)/grating to the first manhole, including cleaning of the gully trap and first manhole up to the cleaning eye of the down-take pipe, by using mechanical equipment, rodding devices, choke removers, pressure jetting techniques or any other approved method. The item shall include locating and clearing the blockage, flushing the entire line with water to ensure free flow, cleaning and removal of silt, sludge and other obstructions, and reinstatement of oval access door covers, GT covers and manhole covers in their original positions after completion of the work. The work shall be carried out to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge and shall be complete in all respects as specified and directed.

| 8.00Note for above srl item 1 to 3 and for 5 to 7 of BOQ : (i) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of all labour, tools and plants, machinery, fuel, transportation, rods, bamboos, sewage suction pumps, hydro-jetting equipment, tankers, closed containers, gum boots, shovels, hand gloves, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety measures, statutory requirements, disposal charges and all other incidental expenses necessary for carrying out the work and for its satisfactory completion in accordance with the specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) No extra payment shall be admissible for repeated filling and emptying of collection tanks, multiple trips for disposal, difficult site conditions, foul conditions, dewatering operations, breaking of compacted sludge or any other operation incidental to the completion of the work.
