REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF JOINT FILLING, EPOXY AND ELASTOMERIC CONCRETE AT RUNWAY UNDER AOR OF GE (AF) SRINAGAR

M&L for cutting and racking out old sealing compound from the old joints 12 mm to 15 mm wide, cleaning with kerosene oil, drying with blow lamp, cleaning the joints portion thoroughly to ensure dust free using compressed air, trimming of edges of joints with diamond cutter and cleaning the joints for 40 mm, remove all dust / debris out of runway, placing closed cell Polyurethane backup rod up to 13 mm below from the top edge of joint, sealing the joints with pitch free Polyurethane grey sealing compound conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB), after applying a coat of N-49 primer to vertical surfaces of concrete which are in contact with the compound and finishing the joint properly leaving 3 mm gap from top surface of concrete applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top of the surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in Charge.

Make: Rallithane 872 of Pavetech / Bostic / New Gurvinder Industries.

All as per Item No 1 above but Joints of width 16 mm to 20 mm.

M&L for Repair to pot holes pot hole of depth 15 to 20 mm of existing concrete slab, cleaning the pot hole thoroughly to ensure dust free using compressor air removing all dust / debris out of runway applying compound of hardener Aradur-140 and Araldite GY-257 primer in the ration of 1:2 by weight and filling the joint with epoxy mixture of Aradur-140, Araldite GY-257 and quartz sand & silicon flour mix No 10 in the ratio of 1:2:15 by weight and finishing the top surface smooth all as per manufacturers instructions and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Compound mention above are of make Araldite, contractor may use similar compound manufacture by M/s Huntsman Advanced materials (India) Pvt Ltd or New gurbinder industries Ltd.

All as per Item No 04 above but depth of pot hole exc. 20 mm but not exc. 30 mm

All as per Item No 04 above but depth of pot hole exc. 30 mm but not exc. 40 mm

Material and labour for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 25 to 30mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 250 metre but n.exc 500 m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc, priming the pot holes / patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified elastomeric concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Chokesy Chemical (Product Name "Flex O Patch") or equivalent of make FOSROC / STP limited.

All as per ser item No. 07 here-in-above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 30 mm deep but not exc. 40 mm deep.

Deployment of T&P and labour for cutting and removing the grasses / vegetation growth / saplings etc. from the surrounding area of runway, taxi track and dispersals by using tractor equipped with jungle Jim and disposing off all the rubbish out of runway boundary complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Deployment of T&P and labour for grass cutting by manually or mechanically (Bush Cutter) on the both side of runway / PTT as per requirement basis and timing as directed, complete including taking out all necessary grass shrubs saplings wild bushes and any type of vegetation and removing out of runway boundary complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete / bituminous pavement by brushing and applying one coat water based road marking paint (any Colour) in pattern of lines / arrows / letters etc. on road or pavements exc 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer‐in‐Charge. Make: Apcotrak IS manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Jenson & Nicholson paints Pvt Ltd / Nerolac

M&L for preparation of old honey combed surface of rigid / flexible pavement of runway / taxi track, by removing dust / dirt / loose material and Applying 3-5 mm thick fiber reinforced Slurry seal Grade -I ( two component), applied @ minimum 2.0 Kg / Sqm, uniformly as per manufacturer instruction, including filling of small holes up to 10 mm depth and leveling the surface to match the existing surface level of runway / taxi track complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: LN Petrochem Pvt Ltd or equivalent make approved by GE.
