Work Discription

Excavation in foundation, trenches etc., in earth work, lift up to 1.50mtrs stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 Mtrs clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required in to plinths side of foundations etc. Consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in a lead of 20 Mtrs.

Providing and Laying concrete 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand: twelve graded stone aggregate 40 mm (forty millimeter nominal size) for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts as per direction by the e Engineer-In-Charge including all leads and lifts

Providing from work with steel plates 3.15 mm thick welded with angel iron in frame 30X30X5mm so as to give a fair finish including centering shuttering strutting propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4mtrs.and removal of the same for instu-reinforced conc. and plain concrete in a) Foundations footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Providing from work with steel plates 3.15 mm thick welded with angel iron in frame 30X30X5mm so as to give a fair finish including centering shuttering strutting propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4mtrs.and removal of the same for instu-reinforced conc. and plain concrete in :-Sides and soffits of beams, beam hauntings, cantilevers, resumes and lintels not exceeding 1 meter in depth in all heights from floor. Half brick masonry in common burnt clay building bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4sand) 2nd class bricks in foundation and plinth

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, clerestory, windows and other frames wrought, framed and fixed in position.2nd class deodar wood.

Providing and fixing paneled glazed or paneled and glazed shutters for door, windows and clerestory windows including black enameled iron but hinges with necessary screws(i) 40mm thick, 2nd class deodar wood including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I, as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the requested gradient and comber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification. 100 mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labor)

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 cement: 2 sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)laid in one layer finished with a floating coat of neat Cement.

Providing and laying spartic ceramic tiles 5.5mm.thick in flooring (300 x300mm. size)treads of steps laid on a bed of 12mm. thick cement mortar 1:3(1cement: 3 sand) finished with flush pointing in white cement.

15mm cement plaster in single coat on fair side of brick/concrete/stone walls for interior plastering Upto floor two level including arises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and/or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm in girth and finished even and smooth.

Finishing wall with weather proof exterior grade emulsion of approved design (Apexultima) or its equivalent on undecorated wall surfaces (two coats) to give an even shade and final finish after thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove all dirt, dust and other foreign matter etc. including sand paper smooth complete.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new wood and wood based surfaces with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surfaces of all dirt, dust and other foreign matters sand papering and stopping including carriage within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals:- with enamel paint other than white.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat)on new steel and other metal surfaces with ready mixed paint acid resisting brushing to give an even shade including cleaning of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work including cutting hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of lead paint in gratings, frames ,girders etc.

Providing ridges or hips 60cm overall in plain with galvanized iron G.I sheet fixed J or L hooks bolts and nuts 8mm dia G.I limpet and bitumen washers complete (i) 0.63mm thick sheet including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I, as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.

Providing valleys 90cm overall plain G.I sheet fixed with galvanized iron J or L hooks bolts and nuts 8mm dia G.I limpet and bitumen washers complete (i) 0.63mm thick sheet including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I, as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing M.S. BP Sheet 1.66mm to 2.00 mm thick in eaves board/facia/soffits/ ceiling including cutting, fixing and welding to steel roof members and applying a coat of red lead primer complete as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge (Base members of steel work shall be measured & paid separately)
