Dismantling loose concrete cover of RCC coloums, beams slabs, Chajjas, ceiling and the like as directed, roughening and cleaning concrete surfaces with steel wire brushes, washed with water, allowed to dry, dusting of steel reinforcement, providing fabric mild steel wire mesh 75 mm x 75 mm of 2 mm dia as reinforcement to concrete surfaces, applying adhesive/admixture over steel mesh and providing 25 mm thick (average thickness) (using 1 part of ordinary portland cement 53 grade and 3 parts of ghaggar sand mixed with adhesive/admixture at the rate as per manufacturers instruction or 3% by weight of cement all as directed and surfaces finished even and fair, and applying 10mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4, including all necessary steel scaffolding and shuttering for working platform/formwork etc complete all as directed.

Notes for item No. 9 (i) Whereever steel reinforcement bars are required to be provided the same shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (ii) Before placing the additional reinforcement all concrete surfaces shall be thoroughly scrubbed with brushes, washed with water and allow to dry. To this prepared surface apply chemistic plycrete admisture at the rate of 3% by weight of cement or all as per manufacturers instructions. Attending and rectify day to day complaints of different type blockage of WC, Gully trap, bathroom, WHB, kitchen traps, Cleaning and maintenance of all rain water pipes, PVC/soil/wastage pipe running on external walls of bldgs including junction holes of any descriptions of all the mud/slude and getting out, washing thoroughly grating of trap, CI waste pipes by opening the clearing eye and deposting the sludge in a pit of suitable size at a distance not exceeding 50 meters from the gully trap and covering the same with the soil obtained from excavation of pit including all excavations and earthwork complete all as specified and directed etc system functional on all working days from 0900 hours to 1700 hours with T&P (such as Bamboo, cleaning rod and suitable materials/ tools) GI wire, PHAWADA, Bucket, Spikes etc incl necessary form work/scaffolding and safety measure which shall be deemed to be included in unit rates quoted by the contractor.

Note for Item No. 126 above :- (i) The complaint shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs i.e from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs excluding sunday & gazetted holiday, commencing from date and time as notifying in the complaint slip failing which a penalty @ Rs.120/-per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied imposed on the contractor and necessary recovery shall be made from contractor's dues on this account. (ii) Contractor or his supervisor will report daily at 0900 hrs at Vikram Batra Vihar Complaint Cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE's In charge, in case after checking & attending the defects, it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer in charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately. If Engineer in charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made on this account. However complaints related to sewage shall be attended on very next day whether it is 'Sunday' or 'Gazetted Holidays' and nothing extra shall be payble to contractor on this account. (iii) Contractor or his supervisor shall also distribute all complaint / detailing to tradesmen, monitoring the work and taking the complaint slip from trademans everyday and re-submit the same at each complaint cell of day to day complaint. If Contractor or his supervisor fails to attend each complaint cell, recovery of Rs 1000/- per day for each complaint cell shall be recovered from the contractor's account.

(iv) Contractor shall arrange suitable T&P (such as KHAPACHI, GI wire, PHAWADA, Bucket, Spikes,die set,sewage pump die set (1/2" to 1") washers of all size, safeda, thread (soot), M-seal, screws, nails etc including necessary form work/scaffolding and safety measure complete all as specified and directed. (v) In addition to above, Contractor shall arrange mechanical rodding with vibrating/ drilling concept i.e trolley mounted sewer cleaning machine as and when required as directed (Minimum once in 03 months) for cleaning entire sewage system and make free of any sludge/ blockage. (vi) The above all aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item and Nothing extra shall be payble to contractor on this account.

M&L for Cleaning of sewage line including connected manhole, upto depth of 6.0 metre by using high pressure super sucker machine vehicle mounted jetting cum suction unit to be capable of air lifting of dense waste/ sludge like mud slurry, small stones, debris, grit etc from sewer lines, through vacuum mode and capable of jetting sewer lines of dia 150mm to 450mm consisting of a water tank having volumetric capacity of 5000 ltrs, including skilled driver and operator for supervising of cleaning of sewage line and also required water for jetting and removal of sludge/ silt/ liquid/sewage water/mud , sand etc. from out side of MD premises, including removing and refixing of manhole covers, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Contractor shall arrange water for jetting, refilling of tank including labours required to be engaged in the work and rubbish off the sludge beyond MD land. 2. Cleaning of Sewage line and connected manholes shall be done after making all safety arrangements and only after making sure that their is non presence of foul gases such as methene etc in the manhole.

Taking out manhole cover slab, cleaning of manholes depth upto 1.5 mtr by removing all silt, mud, sludge, any other materials, flushing with water to ensure clean, reset the manhole cover in same position after cleaning and testing, removal of spoils/sludge out side MD land complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cleaning of manhole under this item shall be paid only those manholes which are not connected with sewage line.

Taking out manhole cover slab, cleaning of manholes depth exc 1.5 mtr upto 4.5m by removing all silt, mud, sludge, any other materials, flushing with water to ensure clean, reset the manhole cover in same position after cleaning and testing, removal of spoils/sludge out side MD land complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cleaning of manhole under this item shall be paid only those manholes which are not connected with sewage line.

Removal of Vegetation from approachable/unapproachable roof of block and surrounding walls by cutting shrubs, wild growth/tree not exc 30cm girth and removing complete vegetation growth from walls including taking out roots from roof/brick walls and making good the disturbed surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 or CM 1:3 as directed by Engr-in-charge and disposing the rubbish beyond MD land complete all as specified and directed

Cutting and taking out grass shrubs, plants, tree roots from Md/OTM Accn bldgs in any position and height and treated with necessary chemical/acid to avoid for this growth and making good the disturbed portion with PCC 1:2:4 type BO including finishing etc complete all as directed and specified. (Note: The cost of scaffolding required for repairs is deemed to be in the quoted rate by the Contractor).

M&L Raking out joints/pointing to brick or brick tiles, laid flat, in floors, surface channels, roofs, etc and including flush pointing to brick tile laid flat or brick tiles in pavings in cleaning and joints grouted flush in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with 5% cruide oil by weight of cement, complete all as directed and specified.

Deduct Credit: for demolished/dismantled material of (-) Rs 126120.00 (Minus) as listed in Schedule 'A' Part II (Credit Schedule) Note: Tenderer's shall not quote against this item. The amount of Credit Schedule is tentative, however the same shall be considered to arrive at the contract sum.
