PART-I Manning and Operation of R.O Plant in three shifts round the clock 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 Hrs including sunday and holiday with cleaning and up keep of the installation operating the submersible pump installed in raw water bore well -02 Nos and operation of treated water pump set including taking care from any pilferage, theft or damage of RO plant etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) RO operator : 01 No per shift (ii) RO Plants- 02 Nos. (iii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be for the both RO Plant and shall have out put water capacity not less than 40,000 liters per day. (iv) The Quality of out put water shall confirm to IS 10500 of 1991.

PART-II Routine maintenance of RO plants No. 1 & 2 installed at Vandana and Vishakha complex having out put capacity of drinking water not less than 40,000 ltrs / day, maintenance of chlorine dosing system,coagulant dosing system,antiscalant dosing system carrying out the routine maintenance recommended by the manufacturer for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly including repairs/ replacement of parts such as bearings, repairs of pumps, filters, welding of cracked/ broken any mild steel items/ foundation, PVC pipes and their fittings, LT panel boards etc complete including painting to all equipment with synthetic enamelled paint complete and all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge including testing of treated water in the approved laboratory for bacteriological test and potability test for every month. Notes :- (a) Chemicals required for operation of RO plant will be measured and paid seperately under Schedule 'A' Part - III of this BOQ (b) RO Plant shall be maintained for smooth functioning and for out put capacity of drinking water not less than 40,000 liters / per day.

PART-III Material and labour for overhauling and including replacement of minor spare parts of submercible pump installed at Vandana and Vishakha complex complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking out unserviceable cartridge filter and supply fix with new cartridge filter of RO plant complete to match the existing and connecting up with exisiting system including all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Disconnecting and taking out unserviceable carbon filter and supply fix with new Carbon filter of RO plant complete to match the existing and connecting up with exisiting system including all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Taking out old unserviceable membranes and supply & fix new Reverse Osmosis Membrane all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Hydranautic/GE/ DOW/CSM

Disconnecting and taking out unserviceable control panel and supply fix with new control panel for RO plant complete to match the existing and connecting up with existing control / electric system including all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and demonstration of chlorine residual test kit portable digitally operated range 0.1-1 PPM and 0.6 to 6 PPM with enclosure & orthodin solution bottle 500 ml capacity complete all as spificied and directed.

Supply and fix in repair LT Cable on wall/floor/ceiling with proper saddles, including testing of XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 2.5 sq mm 3 core complete all as spificied and directed.

Taking down old existing CPVC pipes , supply & lay CPVC pipes medium grade with all fittings laid in floors or fixed to walls and ceilings etc. of size 40 mm dia complete all as spificied and directed. Make:prince/sudhakar/Ashirvad

Disconnecting and taking out unserviceable FRP Housing of membrane and supply fix with new FRP Housing of membrane for supporting and balanceing existing membrane of RO plant complete to match the existing and connecting up with existing system including all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling/Disconnecting AHU of 3 x 50TR capacity AC plant carefully by removing side and top panel removing unserviceable blower shaft bearings,removing motor & blower assembly, replacement of new AHU blower shaft bearings reassembling blower assembly and refixing electric motor & top side panel in original position with new nut bolts washers & shafts keys & checking the shafts balancing & testing for smooth running all as specified and directed at INS SHIKRA.

Removing the unserviceable liquid line valve of size 25mm dia from the liquid line after pumping down the compressor & supply and fixing new liquid line valve 25mm dia including connected works as required for smooth functioning of AC plants complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Rewinding of unserviceable electric motor 3 phase 50 Hz 415volt of following capacity pump set complete comprises as under :- (a) Disconnecting & removing the electric motor from installed position including, loading, unloading and transporting to approved workshop. (b) Taking out the existing burnt winding from the motor including rewinding complete with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge including all insulating material such as insulation paper, sleeves, tape, varnish etc. complete for class 'F' insulation. (c) Transporting the motor back to the location, reinstalling in original position including alignment, electrical & water connection, commissioning and testing for 8hours continuously to check the RPM etc. to the satisfactory performance etc. complete. Disconnecting and dismantling the existing indoor type, 11 KV horizontal draw out type OCB trolly of rupturing capacity 250 MVA, 400 Amps from location and repair /overhauling and carrying out with the following and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: spare parts and new transformer oil shall be measured & paid seperatly .

(i) Inspecting/overhauling of spring drive mechanism by checking mechanism, hold on catch assembly,trip bridge, z srew, Cam U, Aluminum trip bridge, Main trip lever assembly and apply multi grease lubricant to function smoothly. (ii) Inspecting / overhauling of OLTLF assembly,earthfault release assembly, tripping coil, auxiliary switch and checking of electrical wiring system. (iii) Inspecting / overhauling / cleaning and inspecting insulators, moving contacts ,fixed contacts,arcing chamber by carbon cleaner solution and apply dry graphite conductive sealant for contacts to avoid carbon deposits on contact surfaces. (iv) Inspecting/Cleaning of oil tank inside and out side surface by CRC throughly and replacement of transformer oil (60 litre for each OCB) and apply heavy duty grease for tank raising/lowering guide. (v) Assembling all items/components parts to the respective position & testing the breaker with High Voltage and Meggering before and after high voltage test complete.

(iii) Inspecting / overhauling /cleaning and inspecting through insulators, vacuum interuptors by carbon cleaner solution and apply dry graphite conductive sealant for electrical contacts to avoid carbon deposits on contact surfaces. (iv) Assembling all items/components parts to the respective postion & testing the breaker with High Voltage(DC) and meggering before and after high voltage test complete.

Notes for Item Nos 1.00, 16.00 & 17.00 :- The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the following :- (i) The shift time shall be first shift 0600hrs to 1400hrs, second shift 1400hrs to 2200hrs & third shift 2200hrs to 0600hrs as given in BOQ item. (ii) The contractor has to apply for entry pass, for the labours to be employed against the work, from Naval Police with valid documents and shall submit Police verification of labours after receipt of work order through GE (iii) Operator must be skilled & must have knowledge of operation & maintenance of AC Plant, RO Plant, Panel and controlling valves etc. (iv) Valve Man must be semi skilled & must have knowledge of controlling valves etc. (v) Consumable stores such as cotton waste, Grease including tools required shall be provided by the contractor. (vi) Operator must ensure cleanliness of AC Plant, RO Plant. (vii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of Life insurance for the tradesmen employed by him in case of untoward incident such as injuries, fracture or casualty while on duty. (viii) Carrying out minor repairs viz. replacing blown out fuses, recharging MCCBs, priming of pumps, repair to pipe lines as directed. (ix) Checking of leakage /water level in the radiator,checking of leakage of oil from the engine ,compressor etc, shall be carried out by the operator. (x) Inform the JE/AGE E&M in charge of any electric faults, water supply failure, and any other mishappenings. (xi) Any other work, not specifically mentioned above, but ordered by the Engineer-in-Charge for the smooth functioning of AC Plant and RO Plant will have to be carried out without any extra cost. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included accordingly

(xii) Rate quoted shall be inclusive for Relief Staff to the persons employed in shifts. (xii) After issue of work order, contractor has to submit the list of employees including reserve alongwith relevant documents as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (xiv) Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. The contractor shall submit proof to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming any payment. (xiv) Contractor has to submit proof of payment of EPF subscription made by him alongwith RAR failing which RAR will not be progressed for payment. (xv) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (xvi) Contractor shall quote the rates considering their monthly leaves, releiver etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of the above. In case of absence of staff/tradesman from duty, payment of that shift will not be paid. In addition to that a penalty of Rs 700/- per shift per person will be recovered from contractors dues. Also in case of long absence (more than one week) of staff/tradesman, the penalty shall be recovered including Sundays & Holidays if any. The contractor shall have no claim on this account.

(xvii) Contractor has to supply three sets of Tools and Plants to the labours employed by him and should be placed with the safe custody of department. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included the above provision. (xviii) In case any variation in manpower as indicated in Column No 4 of BOQ due to any reasons / or any manpower held in Department or any policy change contractor should have no claim on that account. The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of work mentioned in NIT, the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No 2). The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost mentioned in NIT / TS for M & O items and amount quoted by lowest bidder against M&O items. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to withhold the said amount which will be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall sumbit 03 Nos of FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The FDRs validity shall be 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment/ release as the case may be
