Charges for Inspection and clearance given to Coal Handling control room operator to start the Primary crusher, Reject conveyor, belt feeder, shuttle feeders and Dust extraction system and allied equipments one by one whenever required, after starting the system, inspection of all the running equipments and condition of system informed to CHS -5 operator to start coal feeding, checking the out put size of segregated of lump coal, stone and foreign material above 180 mm size delivered in reject yard through the reject conveyor 2A, 2B & 2C by visual inspection, If any breakdown occur in rotary breaker of primary crusher, to change the discharge of coal to conveyor 48A1 / B1 through the reversible operation of belt feeder via bypass discharge chute as per the instruction of site incharge and coal handling control room operator, checking the bearings housing of drive & driven pulley, feeder pulley bearings temperature of all the running equipments to be recorded in shift log book, checking the oil level in all gearboxes, checking the all drive fluid coupling, gear box and connecting multidisc assembly bolts and inspect any oil spray found in the system, if any abnormalities found in the system, inform to the maintenance engineer of PCH-II, during coal receiving / feeding any abnormality found in system immediately stop the crusher and alternate stand by system put in to service position, checking of ‘V’ belts in DE system, belt feeder/ shuttle feeder belt adjusting and the belt tension if necessary, supervision of all mechanical maintenance works in Primary crusher house-II, arranging to attend the defect then and there in Primary crusher running equipments in coordination with maintenance incharge of PCH-II, inform the condition of all the running equipments position informed to the field maintenance engineer incharge, inspection and Monitoring all the running equipments bearing temperature by hand touch, the vibration of running equipments by hand touch, the oil level in gear box, fluid coupling, cleaning the air breather in all gear box, all bolts and nuts of all running equipments bed frame structure, all bearing housing assembly and tightness checking, any abnormality of running equipments, all the belt scrapper, return belt scrappers, tracking the conveyor belt and also checking the belt joints, adjusting the skirt board rubber to minimize the spillage coal, positioning the Shuttle feeder, when every changing of crusher, inspection of all coal transfer chutes and deflector plate, apply of Grease/ Oil in the chain / chain sprocket and inspection and Monitoring the free rotation of idler etc...
