Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out as in soft/loose soil.

Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.50 m above the starting point.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm as in soft/loose soil.

(NOTE: Testing shall be carried out at NTC/NEIST Jorhat or any other Govt approved laboratory with prior approval of GE)

Material and labour for cleaning of PVC tank of capacity exceeding 1000 ltr with fibre brush to remove all dirts and removing sediments and through cleaning of rotational moulded polythene water storage tank and then with dilute bleaching powder solution(not less than 1.2 Kg per tank) and and finally cleaning with fresh water complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of PVC tank of capacity exceeding 750 ltr and not exceeding 1000 ltr with fibre brush to remove all dirts and removing sediments and through cleaning of rotational moulded polythene water storage tank and then with dilute bleaching powder solution(not less than 1.2 Kg per tank) and and finally cleaning with fresh water complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of PVC tank of capacity exceeding 250 ltr and not exceeding 500 ltr with fibre brush to remove all dirts and removing sediments and through cleaning of rotational moulded polythene water storage tank and then with dilute bleaching powder solution(not less than 0.75Kg per tank) and and finally cleaning with fresh water complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning /de-sludging / de-silting of 96 00 gallons capacity overhead PS reservoir 12.00m staging by draining out water / sludge from tank, removing all scales, dirt, algae and other growths from floor, roof, inside of tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes by rubbing with wire brushes or mechanically from site to a distance n.exc 50 Mtr, washing the tank with bleaching powder (not less than 10Kg per reservoir) for making surface bacteria free and finally cleaning with fresh water , normalizing the water supply by opening the inlet / outlet valves after allowing sufficient drying time complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning /de-sludging / de-silting of 1,00, 000 gallons capacity Steel sedimentation tank by draining out water / sludge from tank, removing all scales, dirt, algae and other growths from floor, roof, inside of tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes by rubbing with wire brushes or mechanically from site to a distance n.exc 50 Mtr, washing the tank with bleaching powder (not less than 30 Kg per reservoir) for making surface bacteria free and finally cleaning with fresh water , normalizing the water supply by opening the inlet / outlet valves after allowing sufficient drying time complete all as directed.

After cleaning, the date of cleaning is required to be written, with size of letters / numbers as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in white colour paint with a black paint background. 2. Tanks mentioned under Item No. _____shall be cleaned twice during the contract period, once after commencement of work and once before completion of work. Other tanks shall be cleaned once during the contract period unless otherwise directed by Engineer-in-Charge. date of cleaning of tank shall also be recorded in MB against respective item. 3. Contractor shall submit purchase voucher for "Bleaching Powder" which shall be recorded in MB as "Not To Be Abstracted".

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment of external wall surface of 1,00,000 Gallons 12 m Staging RCC Overhead Tank by manually /mechanical appliance and preparation of old surfaces applying two coats of acrylic exterior weather resistant paint(weather proof paint @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm per two coats ) of required colour shade and as per manufacturer’s specification over a coat of acrylic exterior primer((@ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) complete all as specified and directed. Note :-The colour shade of tank shall be green(army) and white combination as directed by GE. The quoted rate shall irrespective height.
