Returning, filling in including spreading levelling , watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm in any type soil complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting HT and LT supply,taking down the defective transformer (Indoor/outdoor type) from four pole/two pole structure or lifting from the outdoor type foundation or taking out from sub station bldg , using a crane of suitable capacity & slings/ropes etc as required and shifting the same to civil workshop for repairs for transformer capacity up to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 11 here in before but capacity from 250 KVA to 400 KVA

Shifting back the repaired transformer (Indoor/outdoor type) from civil workshop to site , reinstalling at original position and fixing properly on four pole/two pole structure or outdoor type foundation or inside a sub station bldg , using a crane of suitable capacity & slings/ropes etc as required, making HT/LT side connections and testing for satisfactorily working for transformer up to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 14 here in before but capacity from 250 KVA to 400 KVA

All as per item No 14 here in before but capacity from 500 KVA to 750 KVA Note for item No 11 to 16. 1. Proper Record of transformer taken to work shop and shiffted back to site after repair shall be maintainted duly mentioining SM/MES No/Ser No. 2. Contractor shall ensure that the transformer taken out to work shop shall be shiffted back to site duly repaired within 14 days from the date of issue. A penality of Rs 2000/- per day per transformer shall be imposed after 14 days in case of failure.

Draining out transformer oil from the transformer & storing the same in suitable containers ( to be arranged by contractor without any extra cost ) , opening the top cover and lifting up the core assembly carefully to check the condition of transformer windings and core, retanking the same after repairing , checking of leakage from transformer body and repairing/welding works required for making transformer body leak proof, refilling the transformer oil dully dehydrated and filtered (dehydration and filteration to be paid separately) & making all connections with HT/LT side bushings , refixing the top cover , and testing the transformer with a suitable capacity insulation tester transformer up to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 17 here in before but capacity from 250 KVA to 400 KVA

All as per item No 17 here in before but capacity from 500 KVA to 750 KVANote for item No 17 to 19 :- [a] All repair works such as rewinding, core repairing, oil filling, bushings, gaskets, valves etc shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for rewinding of burnt out /defective HT copper coils with new super enamelled heavy duty copper winding wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying in a suitable oven and all insulating material such as cotton sleeves,tapes etc and connections with bushing terminals complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 20 above but LT copper coils complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rewinding of burnt out /defective HT aluminium coils with new super enamelled heavy duty aluminium winding wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying in a suitable oven and all insulating material such as cotton sleeves,tapes etc and connections with bushing terminals complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 22 above but LT aluminium coils complete all as specified & directed. Note for item Nos 20 to 23 :- (a) Transformer taken to civil workshop for repairing shall be shifted back to site dully repaired within 14 days from the date of issue. A penality of Rs 2000/- per day per transformer shall be imposed after expiry of 14 days period in case the contractor fails to do so. (b) Engr-in-charge shall invariably render a certificate (in MB in support of work executed under these items) for i.e. the correctness of winding wire incorprated in the work.

M & L for replacement of HT tap changer off load type, of suitable size with tapping arrangement from (+/-) 2.5%to 7.5% and one normal tapping including connecting up with HT coil and testing for transformer capacity up to 200 KVA complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 24 here-in-before but for capacity 250 to 400 KVA.

M & L for reconditioning/refurbishment of complete windings and core assembly by opening & cleaning the LT/HT windings coils, replacement of worn out insulation materials, replacing worn out glass sleeve insulations , cleaning with hot oil to remove carbon deposits/sludge & restaking of core laminations to reuse again ,making all star delta connections properly, drying the core assembly in a suitable heat oven for improving the insulation value complete all as directed for any capacity of transformer.

M & L for painting the transformer tank from inside with two coats of zinc chromite after preparing the tank walls/bottom/top cover inner side by properly cleaning the surfaces oil free complete all as directed for transformer capacity upto 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 28 here-in-before but for capacity 250 to 400 KVA.

Supply and filling as in replacement of superior quality silica jel inside the breather assembly and fixing properly with transformer complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for disconnecting from the transformer/panel board, cutting off worn out aluminium cable end, supply and fixing of new aluminium heavy duty cable lug , connecting the cable with transfrormer/panel including insulation tapes etc complete all as specified & directed for 120 sqmm to 150 sqmm 3.5 core sizes of LT cables complete all as specified and directed.

All as above per item No 44 here-in-before but size 185 sqmm to 240 sqmm 3.5 core.

All as above per item No 44 here-in-before but size 300 sqmm to 400 sqmm 3.5 core.

Dehydration and filteration of transformer oil for indoor/outdoor type transformers of any capacity, at site using transformer oil filteration plant to improve di-electric strength not less than 45 KV at 2.5 mm electrode gap complete all as directed. Note :- Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the charges for hiring of oil filteration plant , shifting to different locations at cantt area, testing of samples of oil as per requirement & nothing extra will be paid on this account.

S & F in replacement transformer radiators fabricated from pressed steel sheet all as per existing size and type including fixing arrangement by making welding joint or flanged joints with gaskets/nuts/bolts etc for transformer capacity from 200 KVA and upto 315 KVA complete all as directed. Note :- Joint shall be leak proof and any leakage noticed after repair work shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt.

All as per item No 49 here-in-before but transformer capacity from 400 KVA and upto 500 KVA.

M & L for preparation of external portion of indoor/outdoor type transformers for repainting by removing old paint/oily patches by scrubbing and cleaning dust free, painting with two coats of superior quality synthetic enamelled paint of approved shade complete including cleaning name plate/insulators/conservator level indicator paint free complete all as directed for capacity up to 200 KVA. Note:- The painting of transformer shall be carried out in situ ie. on four pole/two pole structures or kept on foundation or kept inside sub station at different places at cantt area.

All as per item No 52 here in before but for capacity from 250 KVA to 400 KVA.

S & F new transformer oil for replacement or topping up the level of oil having dielectric strength not less than 45 conforming to IS-335 complete all as specified & directed. Note. Transformer oil to be supplied in sealed container.

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of CPRI approved outdoor type floor mounting double door feeder pillar box of size not less than 1500 x 1200 x 600 mm , fabricated from 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet and MC 75 for base channel, 04 nos legs 750 mm long made from 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron , dully powder coated, dust/water and water proof , grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 foundation, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire , 50 Hz complete with and including the following:- [a] Aluminium strip bus bar TPN sleeve insulated mounted on epoxy insulators of capacity 1200 amps - 01 set. M & L for replacement of transformer core built up of silicon steel cold rolled with hot - oil proof grain oriented laminations of varnish or carlite, insulation on both sides complete all as specified & directed .

Shifting of 63 KVA to 200 KVA capacity transformer using hydra/crane etc of suitable size from existing pole structure/plinth/store yard and fixing on another pole structure/plinth/sotre yard including necessary connections on HT and LT side complete all as specified & directed.

All as per sl item No 59 here in before but 250 KVA to 750 KVA

M & L cleaning of transformer radiators with hot insulating oil to remove all blockages/sludge etc by dismantling the same from the transformer tank body and refixing the same by making welding joint or flanged joints with gaskets/nuts/bolts etc all as per existing for transformer capacity upto 750 KVA complete all as directed. Note :- Joint shall be leak proof and any leakage noticed after repair work shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing in trenches/ducts/fixing along the poles/ passing through pipe/ laid under floors XLPE insulated , screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, heavy duty HT power cables ISI marked with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core, 11 KV earthed, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing in trenches/ducts/fixing along the poles/ passing through pipe/ laid under floors XLPE insulated , screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, heavy duty HT power cables ISI marked with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 240 sqmm 3 core, 11 KV earthed, complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in replacement three phase digital type voltmeter with input 0-110 VAC and range 0-11 KV AC , accuracy ± 1.0% ,PTR 11 KV/V3/110V/V3 , square shape size 96x96 mm , flush mounting type ,on the HT 11 KV panel boarrds at various locations all as per existing incl making all connections with control wiring and testing for proper working complete all as directed.

S & F in replacement straight through type heat shrinkable joint for HT cable with aluminum conductor 11 KV grade size 95 to 185 sqmm 3 core including jointing, commissioning and testing complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rectifying and arresting the oil leakage of transformer of any type (indoor/outdoor) and capacity up to 150 KVA installed inside sub stn bldg or on open foundation or on four pole/two pole structure , disconnection of cable termination of HT & LT ends. , opening the top cover by using tripod/chain and pulley after removing all fitments, replacing the following components of the transformer such as gaskets, "O" rings, etc and rectify the leaks in a variety of areas such as top cover, radiator fins, flanges, valves, conservator, Oil leakage through pin hole / crack joint , drain valve / radiator valve ,HT/LT bushes, Oil leakages through any gasket joints. Applying putty/M-Seal Monoplast where ever necessary. Refixing the top cover and all fitments, refixing cable termination of the HT & LT ends, testing complete. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall be provide necessary tripod, chain & pulley, T&P, etc and the rent shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Cost of all type of gasket, "O" rings, putty/M-Seal Monoplast, lugs, nut bolt, double washers, etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M & L cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts , washers, welding, bending etc ( cold or hot ) drilling holes for bolts bent to any shape or size as indicated or directed inclusive of one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint complete all as directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6 mm thick burried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead strip 32x6mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I 1991 connected to earthing test point panel all as specified or indicated and testing on completion as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1 : 3 : 6) type C1, CI pit cover and frame , charcol, salt including earth lead protected by 40 mm dia medium grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering complete. S & F gang operated air break switches,( GO & DO assembly) triple pole, manually operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, 12 insulators type ,with operating mechanism worked from ground level for rating 400 Amps, 11000 volts complete with GI operating pipe of heavy duty grade of suitable length complete all as directed.

M & L for shifting of standby trolley mounted transformer of capacity 500/750 KVA including its HT / LT cables from one location to another location and back to original site or to MES store yard inside the cantt area by using toeing vehicle and crane etc. Dismantling the HT/LT connection of the existing faulty transformer, connecting the HT / LT cable of the trolley mounted transformer with the existing load, connecting the transformer with body and neutral earth with existing earth lead and testing with load. NOTE : (i) The works includes the removal and refixing of all connection, cable, etc of both transformers. (ii) Contractor shall shift and connect the trolley mounted transformer immediately within eight hrs when AGE E&M / JE E&M inform through mobile/ message (iii) If contractor fails to shift and connect the trolley mounted transformer within eight hrs, a penality of Rs.1000.00 per hour after eight hour shall be imposed. (iv) Rent of toeing vehicle, labour used, tools used shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Contractor shall take care of transformer while shifting, any damage occured during the progress of the work while shifting will be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.

S & F in replacement LT/HT side cable connection boxes , size and shape as per existing , fabricated from MS angle iron / flat iron and fixing with nuts/bolts/washers etc complete all as directed for transformer capacity 100 KVA to 750 KVA.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT underground cable XLPE insulated , PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty and 1100 volts grade with multistranded aluminium conductor of size 400 sqmm 3.5 core in trenches/ducts/through pipes/under culverts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rewiring of the complete control circuits of 11 KV HT VCB of any make with single core copper conductor cable of size as per existing for metering/safety relays/indicators/charging system/tripping closing wiring circuits/ connections from CTs,PTs/cubical lamp & socket/thermostat & space heater/DC power supply system for relays etc incl numbering ferrules for marking of the circuits complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in replacement duct covers made from chequred MS plates incl cutting to required shape as per site requirement, painting with two coats of black enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs transformer oil temperature gauge 0 -120 degree analogue dial type complete all as specified & directe

M & L for writing SM No/MES No on HT equipements panel boards etc with synthetic enamelled paint of approved shade, with capital letters and numbers, size of letters/numbers not less than 50 mm in hieght, completre all as specified and directed.Note :- Total no of letters/numbers shall be upto 20 in each job.

M & L for complete servicing/maint of compact type sub station using proper T & P and expert technicians , comprising of dry type/oil filled transformer 11 KV / 415 volts along with HT circuit breaker, connections on HT/LT side, control wiring on HT/LT side by cleaning all the parts dust free properly using a suitable hot air blower and soft cloth , checking and tightening of all hardwares, checking/repairing/adjusting and lubricating the operating / spring charging /tripping mechanism of HT breaker, checking connections of controls and relays for proper working, calibration of relays for proper functioning, checking and tightening of all earthing connections,cleaning of HT/LT side bus bar contacts with fine emery paper and CRC, replacement of worn out nuts/bolts/washers , checking insulation on HT/LT side , checking and tightening of all connections of HT/LT cables and testing for satisfactory working complete all as directed.

Disconnecting the electric supply and taking out old UNSV panel board/feeder pillar box of any type complete all as directed.
