REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC AND PLC BASED STEAM BATH, SAUNA BATH PLANTS, GEYSERS, SOLAR WATER HEATER AND ALLIED WORKS AT CME

M & L for servicing solar Flat Plate collector by removing the flange plates, cleaning the collectors internally by using descaling solution, removing the blockages in the collectors complete and refixing the flange plates, testing for satisfactory function all as specified and directed.

M & L for sevicing solar manifold and tank by removing all the tubes in the monifold, cleaning the tubes internally, removing the blockages in the tubes and cleaning the tank and removing all the impurities, assembling and testing for satisfactory function all as specified and directed.

S & F heating element 25mm to 32mm dia, ISI marked for solar water heating plant of capacity 32 KW all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

S & F Flat Plate collector Tank 100 LPD comprising of 2.5 mm GI/0.5 mm SS304 with rockwool insulation of 50 mm including aluminium cladding and removal of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

S & F flange plates of size 25 mm dia suitable for flat plate collectors including taking down old unseviceable flange plate all specified and directed.

S & F Flat Plate collector Tank 200 LPD comprising of 2.5 mm GI/0.5 mm SS304 with rockwool insulation of 50 mm including aluminium cladding and removal of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

S & F thermostat for solar water heating plant suitable size and ratings etc complete.

S & F flexible heat resistance rubber pipe (from inter connect plate collector to hot water tank) of size 25 mm to 32 mm dia etc with fixing clamp etc complete all as specified.

Taking down the collector from its position, removing the top glass of collector and carry out welding/brazing work to the collector and arresting the leakages in the collector, refixing top glass back, testing for satisfactory function all as specified and directed.

Taking down the old unserviceable solar flat plate collector by disconecting flange plates and rubber hose pipes and replacing with new flat plate collector of same size and model, connecting flange plates and rubber hose complete, testing for proper functioning all as specified and directed.

M & L for submain wiring with two runs of 6 sq mm single core multi stranded FR PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor (red for phase and black for neutral) of grade 1100 volts and including electrical grade PVC casing caping of desired colour not less than 1.2 mm and 25 mm wide & 4 sq mm copper conductor cable PVC unsheathed green coloured for earthing with complete accessories duly connected with earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed including taking down old wiring. Note :- Two run of 6 Sqmm, and one run of 4 Sqmm and one run of casing caping shall be measured as one length

Steam Bath : Checking of electrical wire connection , level sensors, Heaters coil, earthing leakage, electronic circuits & control panel & safety arrangements of the water level & units. Cleaning the sensors, deposition of hard water tank & electrical, pneumatic valve. Proper insulation for the boilers including replacement of defective spares and fixing the same with new including testing one etc complete. Note - (a) Contractor has to visit the plant once in a month and carry out comprehensive maintenance as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) During emergency contractor has to visit the plant to rectify the fault without any extra cost to the Govt. (c) Any spares required during comprehensive maintenance and during emergency repairs shall be measured under respective item as " Supply only)

Sauna Bath :- Checking of the heater coil, electronic temp control, calibrating temp, Accuracy, safety cut off the heater & cleaning the sensors of the electronic devices / equipments etc including replacement of defective spares and fixing the same with new including testing etc complete. Note - (a) Contractor has to visit the plant once in a month and carry out comprehensive maintenance as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) During emergency contractor has to visit the plant to rectify the fault without any extra cost to the Govt. (c) Any spares required during comprehensive maintenance and during emergency repairs shall be measured under respective item as " Supply only)

Comprehensive maintenance of storage type electric water heater (geyser) of capacity 25 to 50 litres comprising of the following tasks at different locations including taking down, transportation to work shop ,opening the geyser, replacement of defective spares and reinstalling the same including testing as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : Bajaj, Ditz, Primer, Galco, Racold or any other make.

(a) Inspection of geysers includes taking down, transporting to works shop for repair, (dismantling) opening descaling, brushing cleaning of storage tank (b) Check and correct earth continuity of electrical items (c) Replacement of neon lamp / indicator lamp if defective. (d) Inspect over flow/vent pipes and remove blockage/ obstructions if any. (e) Examine water tightness tank after cleaning and necessary measures to make the same water tight if not. (f) Check thermostat for its proper functioning

(g) Visual examination of fusible plug to ensure its intactness. (h) Checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve ( PRV ) by removing dead weight protection cleaning the seat and ensuring that the vent hole is not blocked / chocked j) Descalling of the immersion type heating element and cleaning with diluted hydrochloric acid and refixing. k) Checking and adjustments of pressure reducing valves, carrying out operation of all stop cocks & ensure free movement of all working parts. l) Replacement of the rubber / PVC gasket to ensure water tightness m) Testing of Geysers after repairs n) Replacement of defective components such as thermostat safety valves fusible plug, Heating elements, storage tank apparatus plate etc. Note:- Spare components will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevent item of Sch 'A'. These parts shall be of the same make of which the geyser is in repair.

Repair/checking to storage type water heater geyser of any capacity including replacement of required spares such as heating element thermostat, indicator, fusible plug dead weight,hot/cold water hose pipes incl any other etc repairs work at different locations at CME all as specified and directed by Engr in charge for the Make: Bajaj, Ditz, Primer, Galco, Racold or any other make). Note : Spare components will be mesaured and paid seperately.

Supply only insulation material ( Glass Wool ) for geysers

M & L for preparation of steel surface of geysers , apply putty to make the surface smooth/ even and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint white including writing of MES Nos with black paint complete all as directed & for any size or capacity of geysers .

Taking down loose geysers of any capacity from wall & shifting to new place within 1 to 1.5m distance (available in same location) , refixing the geysers complete with grouting of bolts & all necessary pipe connections and making good the disturbed wall surfaces all as directed. Note :- GI tubing if required shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L to repair the leakge of copper inner tank of geysers of any capacity by gas welding/brazing for water tightness complete and test under pressure.

S & F single pole and neutral encloser with two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB 20 Amps 240 volts.
