REPAIR / MAINT TO SEWAGE LINE, SEPTIC TANK AND CONNECTED ITEMS FOR OLD MEDICAL COMPLEX, 31 RR AND ADJOINING AREA OF AGE B/R-I OF GE (N) UDHAMPUR

M&L for systematically cleaning of blockage of WC Indian, Orrisa pattern or European type and bathroom/ kitchen including cleaning of Nahani traps/ gully traps/ floor trap by removing of all the mud/ sludge and getting out in including cleaning of SGSW or CI pipe upto 1st manhole and depositng the sludge in a pit of suitable size at a distance not exceeding 50 metres from the gully trap and covering the same with the soil obtained from excavation of pit including all excavation and earth work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The contractor or his authorised representative shall collect the complaints of all blockage from complaint cell/ Engr-in-charge daily and all complaints will be rectified by the contractor within same day and return the complaint slip after completion of complaint and get receipt from concerned JE/Engr-in-charge. If, he fails to complete the work within same day then a recovery will be made @ Rs 50.00 per complaint per day. (ii) The work shall be done in foul conditions, necessary precautionary measures/ equipments to be adopted by the contractor. (iii) Any damage caused during cleaning shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge without any extra cost to Govt.

Systematically cleaning of the sewage lines including gully traps by passing ropes, knots, bamboo/ wire/ kandi rotary cleaner etc. of any dia of sewage pipe line, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning and desludging of manholes of any size, shape and any depth including pumping out liquid waste if any, removing all solid waste materials such as stones, bricks, pipes, plastic muds etc, pluggings/ diverting of flow if required and removing the debries outside MD land etc. including all precautionary and safty measures, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning and desludging & de-watering of existing septic tanks of 100 users capacity and opening covers including inlet and outlet chambers and soakage well, taking out sludge & sewage water in any form alongwith all other foreign materials by mechanical or by way of other suitable means and removing waste material/ sludge etc. to a distance not exc 50 mtr including digging, burrying in ground (Qty of desludging taken out not exc 12.0 Cum and dewatering not exc 12.0 Cum from Each Septic tank), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The work shall be done in foul conditions, necessary precautionary measures/ equipments to be adopted by the contractor. (ii) The solid or semi solid sludge shall be burried in pits and fully covered with a layer of lime powder and earth. (iii) Rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to have considered all such contingencies including removal and refixing manhole covers. (iv) Any damage caused during cleaning shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge without any extra cost to Govt.

All as per serial item No. 4.00 here-in-above but 50 users capacity (desludging not exc 6.0 Cum and dewatering not exc 6.0 Cum from each septic tank).

Desilting of septic tank / soakage well / manholes by manual or mechanical means including opening and refixing of cover etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, manholes, pier holes etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan and not exc 1.50 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for HDPE DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) pipes, confirming to IS-16098 of 170mm internal dia, presure rating SN-8, fixed with rubber seal and coupler required with and including suitable bends 90/60/45 degree etc, single 'Y' junction complete as required, fixed as per manufacturer's instructions, laid in trenches for sewage lines, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Rates shall be included for taking out old sewage pipe of any type and dia, bends of any size and type, 'Y' Jn coupler / adaptor etc. as required and net total length of pipe with fittings shall be measured for payment purpose.
