DG SET Supply, installation, testing and commissioning Silent type built in within an acoustic enclosure Diesel Engine driven Generating set water cooled including AMF panel for standby power supply 415 volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 50 cycles / sec,0.8 power factor, 30.0 KVA (24 KW) or next higher standard size available KVA,1500 RPM. Self excited self regulated brushless AC generator installed. The alternator directly coupled to diesel engine, mounted on common base frame & complete with self starter 12 volt. Acoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition at Siliguri area and confirming to condition under IS 10002, 13364 Part I 1992, BS 5514/5000 to meet exhaust emission test as per revised MoEF norms/as per CPCB -IV plus or as per latest. Fuel tank capacity not less than 08 hours fuel requirement & battery as reccommended by OEM battery leads, sound proof canopy etc. with features for automatic shutdown in the event of a circuit failure condition arising from low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, over speed etc. & microprocessor based gen-set controller governor with the following under-mentioned features & all as specified & directed :- NOTE : The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant IS/BS Standards design. (A) Alternator : Standard design alternator rated at 30.0 KVA/ nearest higher available capacity at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 5000, IS: 13364 Part I (1992) and shall be in position to generate supply with frequecy regulation with in + 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722. (i) Insualation class - 'H' (ii) Temparature rise Class - 'H' (iii) Excitation : Self Excited (iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with + 1%. (v) Frequency regulation + 1%
(B) Diesel Engine: Adequate capacity of Diesel engine water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS complete, with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts. (iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. (iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade. MS Exhaust pipe with bends/flanges and all accessories to be supplied and erected as per OEM recommendation. The Exhaust Pipe shall be insulated with low resin bounded wool of min 75 mm thickness min 144 Kg/m density. The dia/thickness and Stack height of the Exhaust pipe shall be as per OEM recommendation and CPCB norms. The minimum height of Stack to be provided with each generator set shall be worked out as per latest CPCB norms. Turbo charger type Exhaust manifold Silencer : Residential type
(v) Fuel System :- Diesel Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by governor electronic operated/ (as recommended by OEM) for 1% speed /frequency regulation. Comprising with Fuel Filters and Fuel Hoses. (vi) Lube oil System :- Comprising of Lubricating oil filter, Lubricating oil pump etc.
(vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold, Air cleaner dry type etc (viii) Governer Electronic type (ix) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with and including battery charging alternator 12 Volts DC. (x) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenance free of capacity 12 V, 180 AH- 01 No complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified. Start and stop push button Ignition key / Switch Radiator with blower fan & first fill of coolant oil Corrosion inhibitor coolant (xi) Generator Monitoring Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as per standard manufacturing, iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolant temperature indicator, Battery volt display.
(xii) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over speeding of engine. (xiii) Coupling arrangement : - Flexible coupling (xiv) Accessories :- AVM Pads built- in or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames. (xv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes as per manufacturer. (xvi) Fuel Tank :- Daily service fuel tank made complete on a common base inside the acoustic enclosure as per manufacturer guidelines for min 8 hrs continuous operation. (xvii) MS/Steel flexible pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. (xviii) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines (xix) The DG Set shall comply to the emission limits requirement as per Govt of India CPCB -IV plus or as per latest. The DG Set shall be complied with all test requirements as stipulated in the gazette notification. All relevant test results from NABL accredited lab shall be produced.
(g) Annuciation with indication lamps for : (i) Low lub oil pressure. (ii) High Water Temparature. (iii) Engine over speed. (iv) Battery low voltage. (v) Over voltage, under voltage and over current (vi) Display shall be alphanumeric LCD display with LED backlight. Controls and Records:- (a) Load on Indication (b) Load off indication (c) Engine start push button (d) Engine stop push button (e) Fault accept / reset push button (f) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines (g) Suitable to provide a record of most recent fault conditions & fault history. (h) Complete alternator data viz, voltage ph - ph, ph - neutral, KVA , frequency etc. (j) Complete engine data viz, starting battery voltage, engine temp, engine runnning hours, engine oil pressure etc. (k) Control incl provn of service adjustment & calibration of DG control functions.
(D) Civil Works :- All civil works including PCC plat form and related foundations including for panel and equipments including making good of distrubed area during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth and size of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer. Note:- The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in the above offer. (E) Acoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 30.0 KVA DG Set. (i) Tested by NABL approved lab as per CPCB-IV Plus or as per latest (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank should be inside the enclosure, however, the fuel storage shall be enough for 8 hrs continuous operation. If required contractor may arrange outside fuel storage capacity to achieve this (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - (a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. (b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick (c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level (vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit.
All as per Srl Item No. 14.11 to 14.20 here-in-before but capacity 10 KVA complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for development of trial bore by reaming upto 525 mm for 200 mtrs depth from ground level using any suitable method as per soil condition and as per central ground water board report including disposal of spoil from the site of work as specified in IS 2800 complete all as specified and directed.
Carrying out Electric logging Test of bore for precise delineation of granular zones with and including the quality of ground water and report interpretation through Geological Department or approved agency complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Before drilling the bore contractor has to carry out site survey and Electric logging test/ survey for ground water exploration to be carried out of minimum 6 points for each borewell in and around said locations in area to obtain max ground water potential and report of the same has to be submiited to GE for taking approval of site/ point with maximum water potential for boring. (ii) All necessary arrangment, test/survey done by the contractor and cost for same to be included in unit rate. No extra charge will be paid by the contarctor.
M&L for packing pea graval 3 to 5 mm of size as per conforming to IS 8419, Part-I of natural shape brought directly from river bed and packing around the casing pipe of MS to entire depth upto ground level complete all as specified and directed.
S&F MS centralising guide made out of MS flat iron 40x6 mm and 30 cm length all as specified in IS : 2800 (Part – 1) : 1991 with and including connected fittings complete all as specified and directed.
Supplying and assembling including jointing, lowering & fixing in position 150 mm bore low carbon galvanised (LCG) strainer 3 Mtr/ 6 mtr long minimum 6 mm thickness each conforming to IS 8110 : 2000 (ISI marked) including mild steel socket threaded by electric arc welding both sides with and including connected fittings complete all as specified and directed.
S&F well cap suitable for 200 mm bore housing pipe made out of 6 mm thick steel plate with and including connected fittings complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : After completion of the work well cap will be used to keep the bore well closed until the submersible pumping set is installed.
M&L for development of tube well with air compressor of suitable capacity till sand/mud free water of potable quality is obtained and to achieve minimum discharge capacity of 36000 LPH/max yield complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Compressor with and including all connected accessories & tube etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and cost deemed to inclusive in qoated rates.

RMU Construction: The switchgear and busbar shall all be contained in a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6 at 0.3 bar (300 hPa) relative pressure to ensure the insulation and breaking functions. Sealed for life, the enclosure shall meet the "sealed pressure system" criterion in accordance with the IEC 62271-1 standard (§ 3.6.5.4): "a volume for which no further gas processing is required during its entire expected life”. In addition, manufacturer shall confirm that maximum leakage rate is lower than 0,1 % / year. It shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear insensitive to the environment (temporary flooding, high humidity...), IP67 degrees of protection in accordance with recommendation IEC 60529 § 14.2.7. Thus assembled, the active parts of the switchgear shall be maintenance-free and the switchboard shall be low-maintenance. The switchboards drives shall have an IP2X protection index. The tank shall be made of at least 2mm unpainted stainless steel. SF6 gas is the preferred dielectric medium for MV RMUs. Oil filled switchgear will not be considered. SF6 gas used for the filling of the RMU shall be in accordance with IEC 60376.Any accidental overpressure inside the sealed chamber will be limited by the opening of a pressure limiting device in the lower part of the enclosure. Gas will be released to the rear or the bottom of the switchboard away from the operator. Fault Passage indicator: The FPI shall facilitate quick detection of faulty section of line. The fault indication may be on the basis of monitoring fault current flow through the device.
