REPAIR / REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF LT FEEDER PILLAR, SWITCH GEARS SYSTEM, LT UG CABLES, AND OTHER MISC WORKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN AFH AREA UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT.

Taking down / out unserviceable or serviceable UG cables of any cross sectional area and connections including bricks, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and /or fixing with walls /poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, etc. and kept in Safe custody for re-use, complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Earth Work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant Items here-in-before.)

M & L for cable in trenches or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated, heavy duty, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric LT cable with stranded aluminium conductor for 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 400 sqmm 3.5 core, complete all as specified and directed.

-Ditto- all as per Item Sl No. 2 here-in-before but of size 300 Sqmm 3.5 Core, complete all as specified and directed.

-Ditto- all as per Item Sl No. 2 here-in-before but of size 240 Sqmm 3.5 Core, complete all as specified and directed.

-Ditto- all as per Item Sl No. 2 here-in-before but of size 10 Sqmm 4 Core, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 mtr wide and not exc. 1.50 mtr in depth, including taking Out and Laying of Cables, etc. and getting out in Soft / Loose Soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in trenches) of 230mm Spread thickness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : For the purpose of payment, punning thickness of Sand cushioning shall only be measured and paid).

S&F Sub-Class 'B' brick, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of Cable laid in Trenches over Sand Cushion laid for UG Cable protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, Filling in, including Spreading, Levelling, Watering and Well Ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated Materials (Soils) not exc. 50.00 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 mtr above the Starting Point. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Re-Laying and re-routing of serviceable XLPE LT UG cable, insulated, Armoured with Aluminium Conductor, 1100 Volt Grade, Nominal Cross-Sectional Area 400 Sqmm 2/3.5/4 Core including Brass Compression Cable Gland, Terminal Lug, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation, Sand, Bricks and connected items measured and paid separately.

Re-laying only old Brick in trenches for under ground Cable Protection (Serviceable Bricks obtained from Item here-in-before), complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB 4 Pole, 415volts, 50 Hz 160 Amps with breaking capacity 25 KA, thermal & magnetic adjustable type, with extended copper terminals including taking out existing unserviceable / burnt MCCB from site complete all as specified and directed. Make : Legrand Cat No. 4200 57 or its equivalent model in ABB / Havells / L&T as approved by GE.

S&F MCCB 4 Pole, 415volts, 50 Hz 200 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA, thermal & magnetic adjustable type, with extended copper terminals including taking out existing unserviceable / burnt MCCB from site complete all as specified and directed. Make : Legrand Cat No. 4202 48 or its equivalent model in ABB / Havells / L&T as approved by GE.

S&F MCCB 4 Pole, 415volts, 50 Hz 400 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA, thermal & magnetic adjustable type, with extended copper terminals including taking out existing unserviceable / burnt MCCB from site complete all as specified and directed. Make : Legrand Cat No. 4220 07 or its equivalent model in ABB / Havells / L&T as approved by GE.

M&L for Cutting the road / hard-standing and making good disturbed surface by using plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (by using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for fixing the pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Galvanised Iron Pipe 50mm Bore (dia) ‘Light grade’ for protection of UG Cable, laid in Floors/ Road Crossing, fixing to Pole with Mild Steel Clamps, Nuts, Bolts, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Change over switch 4 pole, 415 volts, 50Hz, 200 Amps complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells Cat No. IHCNFE0400 or its equivalent model in Legrand / ABB / L&T as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs Straight Through Cable Jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for indoor / outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 70 sqmm to 120 sqmm and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Straight Through Cable Jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for indoor / outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 sqmm to 185 sqmm and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Straight Through Cable Jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for indoor / outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 240 sqmm to 300 sqmm and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws on porcelain insulator / spacer fixed at every 1 meter length as lightening conductor on roof / wall of building and joining the same with existing / new earth test point and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs GI strip 32 x 6.0 mm with saddles and fixing screws on porcelain insulator / spacer fixed at every 1 meter length as lightening conductor on roof / wall of building and joining the same with existing / new earth test point and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mmx75mmx25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screw for lighting conductors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 in SSR Part I of 2009 connected to earthing test point all as specified and directed complete with excavation & earth work, PCC pit in cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and 50mm thick RCC cover of size 450X450X50mm in RCC type B1 1:2:4 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with and including 8.0 mm dia TMT bar @100mm centre to centre both ways, having suitable handle (10mm MS Rod) 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe with GI funnel with wire mesh 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade ISI marked) for protection of earth lead conductor all as directed and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning by sparaying of weeds / herbicide to kill unwanted vegetation around near E/M installation and making good complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-2 (by using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete including taking down old unserviceable / broken PCC complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 5 to 10 mm dia of neck Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5 cm long complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Aluminium lugs complete all as specified and directed of following sizes : -

M&L for painting to steel tubular pole 8.5 to 9 mtr long with two coats of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.50 metre height from ground level in 30 cm alternative black and yellow strips and remaining portion with alluminium paint incl numbering of pole no by stensils and MS frames like channel,clamps, angle, D-clamps etc with two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to incomming and outgoing cables of feeder pillar box / DB, 415 Volt, by taking out burnt portion, dressing, crimping, including replacement of gland, lugs, terminal nuts and bolts, etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Items such as lugs, terminal nuts and bolts, etc. shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant item-here-in-after.

M&L for Painting of LT panel / feeder pillar any size after cleaning the body surface by rubbing with emery Paper to remove rust, dust etc and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of cubical housing cabinet type LT panel board OUT door type, platform mounted factory made, totally enclosed dust and vermin proof openable from both front and rear side made out of 14 SWG (3.15mm) thick CRCA MS Sheet of overall size 1200mm (length) x 1000 mm(width) x 500 mm (depth) and built upon suitable size angle iron frame work , having front and rear hinged doors,GI earthing strips at rear side , bottom detachable gland plate complete with suitable size zinc plated and passivated nut, bolts , spring and washers. The cabinet and all members should be chemically treated with MSR solution for anticorrosive treatment and apply powder coated paint (RAL-7032) The panel should be suitable for 415 volts , 50Hz, 3 phase 4 wire system and internal connection should be provided with aluminium strips of suitable size and necessary foundation work and comprising following:-

BUS BAR CHAMBER:- (a) Sheet steel bus bar chamber having front hinged covers with a set of electrolytic grade high conductivity TP&N solid aluminium bus bars, rated 1000 amps supported at required intervals sleeved with heat shrinkable PVC sleevings. The bars shall be colour coded at required intervals for identification - SET OF 4, 1 No.

INCOMER:- (a) MCCB of 4 pole, 415 volts, 50Hz of capacity 630 amps with breaking capacity of 36 KA, thermal magnetic type - 1 Nos. OUTGOING FEEDERS:- (a) MCCB of 4 pole, 415 volts, 50Hz of capacity 500 amps with breaking capacity of 36 KA, thermal magnetic type - 1 Nos. (b) MCCB of 4 pole, 415 volts, 50Hz of capacity 250 amps with breaking capacity of 36 KA, thermal magnetic type - 1 Nos.

S&F in repairs Cable route marker of 350mm hight including grounting and painting HT/LT cast iron complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
