Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.26.2)

Providing and laying 30mm mm bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG - 30 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site 7% Plastic waste, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications (HSR 17.31.2) Note: If bitumen required is this account more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Construction of Embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits, including compensation of earth, with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2, as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.6) Note:- Compensation for earth will vary from place to place and will have to be assessed realistically as per particular ground situation. In case earth is available from Govt. land, compensation for earth will not be required. The position is required to be clearly stated in the cost estimate.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (HSR 34.26) Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch no., manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved thbe same from Engineer-in-Charge before use. NOTE- The item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed to be covered by the other rates and prices in the bill of Quantities (Refer: ITB Clause 13.2). 1. Unit rates and prices shall be quoted by the bidder in Indian rupees [ITB Clause 14.11] 2. For routine maintenance, the unit rate indicated by the authority shall apply. The bidder is required to accept these rates. Further, the payment shall be performance based. It may kindly be noted that the contractor would be obligated to carry out 05 years paid maintenance of Rs.9.26 Lacs as per the fixed rates mentioned as Annexure-'A' in the DNIT. However, the item of 05 years maintenance shall not be part of BOQ to avoid any confusion
