REPAIR/MAINT OF CERTAIN ROADS AND CONNECTED ITEMS IN THE CERTAIN AREA OF ZONE C AND D UNDER AGE B/R-I AT GE JHANSI

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watered and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed

M& L for Scarifying or picking gravelled,macadam or btuminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm deep, and area n exc 400 sqm complete all as specified.

M& L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam complete laid in one layer compacted thickness with coarse stone aggregate of grading 3 (25 to 40 mm size) and surfaces of layer will be blinded with screening and moorum, spread ,watered, consolidated and compacted, rolled with 8 to 10 tone power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber using sand or lime stone complete all as directed.

M&L for preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny gags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG 10 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen VG 30 @ binder content of 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50-70 mm) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG30 of any penetration laid/spread uniformly by means of mechanical pavers over primed WBM surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete 10 to 12 ton power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny gags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG 10 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG30 of any penetration laid/spread uniformly by means of mechanical pavers over primed black top surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete 10 to 12 ton power roller, complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only in repair for cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. complete all as specified. Note : (i) Necessary fixing material for cat eye shall be provided by Contractor. (ii) Cat eyes shall be provided by concerned AGE with Baby Indent. (Necessary charges are deemed to be incl in quoted rate.)

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
