Job Work : Preservation work for Planks hardwood and packing timber items under GE (Engineer Park) Jalandhar Cantt

1. Plank hardwood size 3619 x 228.5 x 76 mm - 1986 Nos ETSR VI/P-316 2. Packing timber 9" x 3" x 6' - 12 Nos EGS/P-29 3. Packing timber 9" x 2" x 6' - 12 Nos EGS/P-29 Description of the work is as under:- (a) The item to be removed from existing stack upto 100 mtrs away as suitable for work. (b) Old oil mixture and dust on the item to be removed by using steel wire brush and emery paper and cotton waste. (c) Cleaning has to be done very carefully avoiding damage. (d) A smooth surface to be prepared for preservation work. (e) After cleaning, items to be dipped into mixture of used engine oil and creosote oil 50: 50 ratio for 30 min in a iron trey to be provided by the office. (f) After 30 min, items removed from the mixture tank and restacked on proper dunnage as directed by supervising staff/GE. (g) After restacking of Stores on proper dunnage marking to be done on each stack as directed by the supervising staff/GE. Note:- (a) All preservation and cleaning materials for the work will be provided by the office. (b) Labour and writing brush will be provided by the firm
