REPAIR AND RESURFACING TO CERTAIN ROADS AT DOMESTIC AND TECHNICAL AREA AT 11BRD AFS OJHAR

Material and labour for repair to pot holes not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping in free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth,making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes not exc 30 mm complete all as specified and all as directed.

Scarifying and picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm (exc. 50 mm and not exc. 100 mm deep) including removing the excavated material from site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 02 above but in area not exc 400 sqm (exc. 50 mm and not exc. 100 mm deep)

Material and labour for 75 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam in two layers compacted separately conforming to the grading as per MORTH&H (5th revison) given in table 400-13 and physical requirement as per table 400-12, spread with mechanical means and rolled using 8 to 10 ton vibrating power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of WMM surface by brushing with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet for removing caked mud etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10kg/10Sqm of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 by using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam 50mm consolidated thickness with 4% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration (using computerised hot mix plant and mechanical paver) laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with vibratory power roller to make good depression / pot holes complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surface of road by brushing with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet for removing caked mud etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5kg/10Sqm of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 by using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and all as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration (using computerised hot mix plant and mechanical paver) & cement OPC 43 grade as filler material and compacted to required camber and gradient using vibratory power roller all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing 2 mm thick thermoplastic road marking compound paint of white / yellow of approved shade for road marking of any width and girth and painting lines, dashes,arrows etc on bitumen road / pavement and on concrete surfaces using hot processor plant and using glass beads @120 gm/Sqm all as directed including removing old paint by paint remover and cleaning with scrapers for removing all dirt/dust and other foreign matters at site and managing traffic control etc complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for moorum/red bajri filling as in berms of road including spreading, levelling , watering and consolidated with vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- The amount of schedule of credit on page No. 25 shall be deducted from the amount quoted against sch 'A' while deriving at the contract sum for accptance.
