M&L for complete removal of deteriorated/ eroded top surface with wire / coir brushes and with suitable power driven concrete cutters up to a thickness of 3 to 4 mm and then cleaning the surface with compressed air by using air blower compressor to remove all loose dirt, dust, scaling, grease, spots etc. & priming the surface with epoxy based primer (with suitable brushes) complete all as specified and directed.

Applying Epoxy mortar on primed surfaces with thickness varrying from 3 to 4 mm including filling of small holes up to 10 mm depth @ 8.00 kg per Sqm and levelling the surfaces to match the existing level with existing surfaces of the Runway/ Taxi track complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to concrete pavements by cutting the damaged, spoiled edges in concrete pavements slabs to vertical rectangular cross section with power driven concrete cutters, removing all loose material, cleaning surface thoroughly with wire/ coir brushes and then cleaning the surfaces with compressed air by air blower compressors, including priming the surface with epoxy based primer and then filling with epoxy mortar @ 2 Kg per 1000cc (Cubic Centimeter) and including form work wherever required including removal of rubbish to a distance exc. 250m and not exc. 500m and depositing complete all as specified and as directed .

Raking out of old existing sealant compound of the existing expansion Joints of size 20mm to 25mm wide and up to a depth of 30 mm and thickness of existing slab 250mm, cleaning and priming the sides and bottom of joints with primer and filled with sealing compound of Grade ‘B’ by leaving a clear space of 5mm at top in winter and 3mm at top in summer complete all as specified and directed.

Raking out of old existing sealant compound of the existing construction Joints of 10mm to 14 mm wide and thickness upto 30 mm deepby cleaning and priming the sides and bottom of joints with primer and filled with sealing compound of Grade ‘B’ by leaving a clear space of 5mm at top in winter and 3mm at top in summer complete all as specified and directed.

Raking out of old existing sealant compound of the existing contraction joints (dummy) of size 8mm to 10 mm and thickness upto 65 mm deep, cleaning and priming the sides and bottom of joints with primer and filled with sealing compound of Grade ‘B’ by leaving a clear space of 5mm at top in winter and 3mm at top in summer complete all as specified and directed.

Racking out of old existing sealant compound, backer rod and filler board of the existing expansion joints of size 20-25mm wide and 45mm deep joints by special tools like racker/ cutting blades/ machines, widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joints to be cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Thereby application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backer rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/-30%.

Thereby application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backer rod of 12 mm dia for complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30%.

M&L for repair to pot holes on concrete portion of runway / PTT / Taxi Track of size not exc. 4 Sqcm and depth not exc 1.5 cm and filling with elastomeric concrete over and including priming of pot hole surface with suitable primer of same make including preparation of old detorated concrete surface by removing loose disintegrated concrete and blowing with mechanical / electrically driven air blower complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes on concrete portion of runway / PTT / Taxi Track of size not exc. 6 Sqcm and depth not exc 2 cm and filling with elastomeric concrete over and including priming of pot hole surface with suitable primer of same make including preparation of old detorated concrete surface by removing loose disintegrated concrete and blowing with mechanical / electrically driven air blower complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (PQC) of any description and in any position of existing unreinforced slabs or rigid pavements / portions of runways, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing anywhere outside from MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45Kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC-15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand/ crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement mixed with non-circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the proportion as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and as directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10.1.14 and Table-9 of IRC-15-2017.

M&L for providing 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean natural sand/ crushed stone sand or combination of both duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness as specified and directed. (No additionaI amount to be paid for overlap)

Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheets (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over tack coat/ sand cushion as specified and as directed with overlap between adjacent strips and a transverse joints as minimum 300mm.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavements by brooming complete etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for forming dummy/ contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joints to be cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Thereby application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backer rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backer rod of 8 mm dia application of bond breaker tape on top of backer rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) OF +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of construction joints 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joints to be cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Thereby application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backer rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backer rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of backer rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN- 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joints to be cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joints then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backer rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backer rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete as specified and directed.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc. 10 cm wide with two coats of road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed.
