DETAILED SURVEY OF ROAD — THE DETAILED SCOPE OF THIS ITEM IS AS PER ATTACHMENT

Excavation upto 1.5 m — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Earthwork in excavation for Foundations of structural sheds, roads, drive ways, pedestals, trestle bridges, culverts, pits, trenches, etc. or any other place as directed, in Ordinary soils including Soft rock / Disintegrated rock, in both Dry and Wet conditions, including Pumping and Bailing out Surface and Subsoil water, Shoring, Strutting, Slush removal, including backfilling etc, in layers of 150mm at all heights and depths as per Specifications/requirements and as directed/ wherever required , in Foundation pits and other places with excavated suitable surplus earth, including reclaiming from spoil heaps kept elsewhere including dressing and leveling, watering and mechanical compaction etc. Transporting surplus soil to unobjectionable place out side HPCL Premises and spreading in layers and as per Specifications and direction of Engineer. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only based on initial and final levels jointly recorded & as per PCC dimensions. Job to be completed as per attached technical specification/codal provisions/ sound engineering practices and as directed by EIC complete.(Note: The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation for necessary working space, slope, steps etc., required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes and working space etc. No extra will be paid on account of this)For depths up to and including 1.5 m

BACK FILLING — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Backfilling around sub-structure with serviceable & reusable soils available from excavation and stacked earlier within the new Plant boundary including re-excavating, shifting to the site of backfilling, backfilling in layers of 200 mm; watering; compacting; testing to achieve 95% MDD as per lab results all complete as per instructions of HPCL

SAND FILLING — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Supplying and filling River Sand of approved quality under floors, in foundation and plinth etc. including the cost of sand, transportation for all leads, loading, unloading spreading in layers of 15 cm thickness (for more than 15 cm thickness) at all depths, watering, ramming, compacting to required depth, levelling etc. complete. Includes in cable trenches etc. complete

MURRUM FILLING — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Supply and filling best quality available Murrum under footings/floors of sheds, trestle bridges, culverts or as directed by EIC, arranged from borrow area /pit outside premises including all excavation, transportation, labour, royalty etc. at the borrow pit location, filling in HPCL premises in layers not exceeding 300 mm and compacting with mechanical plate vibrator so as to achieve 95% of max dry density arrived by Standard Proctor test including dressing up the surface, breaking clods, removal of slush and water, removal of surplus earth after formation, watering rehandling at site & job shall be carried out as per attached technical specifications and as per directions of EIC complete. The quoted rate shall include conducting initial laboratory tests on samples and consequent insitu dry density /OMC tests@ 500 sqm of area in each layer of filling. The initial filling should start only after stripping the area from bushes, grass and other vegetation. No separate payment will be made for clearing bushes, vegetation and other materials.Job to be completed as per attached technical specification/codal provisions/ sound engineering practices and and as directed by EIC complete.

SOLING — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Providing and laying 230mm thick or specified thickness dry trap rubble stone soling including hand packing, filling the interstices with chips, spalls and binding with grit and selected murrum, watering, compaction by hand ramming and Job to be completed as per attached technical specification/codal provisions/ sound engineering practices and as directed by EIC complete.

PCC 1:3:6 — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Providing and laying plain cement concrete of M-10 grade (1:3:6) (Cement: Sand: Coarse aggregates) under drive way etc or as directed by EIC using 20mm downgraded aggregate, including machine mixing, shuttering, compaction, curing all and Job to be completed as per attached technical specification/codal provisions/ sound engineering practices and as directed by EIC

PCC 1:2:4 — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Providing and laying plain cement concrete of 1:2:4 (Cement: Sand: Coarse aggregates) volumetric only, under footings, culverts , pedestals etc or as directed by EIC using 20mm downgraded aggregate, including machine mixing, shuttering, compaction, curing all and Job to be completed as per attached technical specification/codal provisions/ sound engineering practices and as directed by EIC

PCC for Coping — AS PER SCOPE OF JOB ATTACHED Providing and laying machine mixed plain cement concrete having volumetric proportions 1:2:4 (Cement: Sand: Coarse aggregates), with 20mm and 12.5 mm coarse aggregates; of specified thickness including curing, etc., complete as directed, for all types of foundations below footing, walls, rafts, flooring etc.For Coping
