Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m etc as per Technical Specification Clause 201. (I) By Manual Means (A) In area of non thorny jungle

Removing all types of Hume pipes and stacking within a lead of 1000 m including Earthwork and Dismantling of Masonry Works as per Technical Specification Clause 202.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Excavation in soil in Hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 20 m as per Technical Specification Clause 1603.1.

Excavation in Hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 20 m as per Technical Specification Clause 1603.2.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with including compensation of earth inc. (a) Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the department.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Clause .40 with an initial lead of 5 km. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density with an initial lead of 5km.. (B) By Mechanical Means (2)WBM Grading -II (b)Using stone screening Type-B (11.2 mm)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density with an initial lead of 5km.. Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base etc ..... including cost testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deppt..
