EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth for foundation for pipes, walls, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cables etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soft / loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated spoil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of road / hard standing / foot path not exceeding 0.60 meters wide and 1.0 meters depth for laying of pipe line including making good with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 of required quantity to make up the digged depth with existing road complete all as directed.

Cutting Cast Iron pipe 150 mm bore and reducing to required length in position for insertion of Bends, Tees and other fittings as required at site. Note : Excavation, returning filling and removal, DI Fittings/ specials like tee, bend, reducer tail piece, end plate etc. will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ.

Supply and laying in trenches, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends conforming to IS-8329-2000 suitable for (push on) tyton joints Class "K-9" complete 200 mm (8") dia all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron pressure pipe with flanged ends conforming to IS-8329-2000 suitable for rubber gasket joints Class "K-9" complete 150 mm (6") dia all as specified and directed. Note for serial No. 2.06 to 2.07: 1. Unit rate quoted shall be deemed inclusive of nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gasket of 3mm thick etc. 2. Unit rate quoted shall be deemed inclussive of shuttering work/ T&P/ labour required for replacement of rising main/ delivery/ overflow/ wash out lines of OHT upto 23 metres height.

Supply and lowering and fixing in position GI heavy class column pipe 100 mm bore 10' long flanged including slot for submersible cable ,rubber gasket 3 mm thick nuts,bolts and washers etc complete all as specified.

Taking up DI/CI/GI pipe water mains 8"(200 mm) including all fittings and removing joints (MH Pump house to Hudson line pump house) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends conforming to IS-8329-2000 suitable for (push on) tyton joints Class "K-7" complete 150 mm (6") dia all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends conforming to IS-8329-2000 suitable for (push on) tyton joints Class "K-7" complete 100 mm (4") dia all as specified and directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains 6" (150 mm) bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. Location:- Bhagat Road pump house & Raina Park Pump House distribution lines.

Taking up cast iron water mains 3"/4" (80/100mm) bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. (Locations:-MH Colony & MES Colony, Old BI Line Md Accn Area, Raina Park Md Accn Area, Old Solanki Line Md Accn Area, New dogra to 4011 Fd Amb, Kiren line to Engr Park, 27 AD PH to 236 ER unit area & Old Dogra PH to Hussaine Vihar Md Accn area).

Cutting of existing 150 mm bore CI/DI Pipe for inter connection of pump house inclulding supply and insertion of new CI Tee of size 150 x 150 x 150 mm dia including joints/ tail pieces, jointing material etc and all required earth work all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing 200 mm bore CI/DI Pipe for inter connection of pump house inclulding supply and insertion of new CI Tee of size 200 x 200 x 200 mm dia for making connection of 200 mm dia pipe including material and labour for connected joints, tail pieces & jointing material etc, all required earth work all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fittings for spigot DI socketed pipes such as bends of any type, radius and angle tapers any type (straight, bend increasing, decreasing or double sockets etc) Tee pieces single branch 'Y' junction, double branch, cross( all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plug size upto 150 mm bore, all as per IS 1538-1993, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No. 2.16 but of size 200mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- DI Specials/fittings will be measured separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1.20 x 1.20 x 1.20 Mtr (internal dimension) including earth work and excavation in any type of soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away from site including plastering internally in CM (1:4) and flush pointing on brick work externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar with angle iron frame 40x40x6 mm, hold fast, MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick, handle hinged to frame and locking arrangement including two coats of black synthetic enamel paint duly painted over a coat of red oxide including dismantling existing pit complete all as specified and directed.

Making/boring hole under road/pavement/hard standing with help of bookies/ machines as per site requirements upto 20 mtr horizontal length suitable for passing pipe (any type) upto 200 mm bore not less than one mtr below ground level including required earth work complete all as specified and directed.(DI/GI tubing measured and paid separetly).

Lifting /taking up of defective submersible pumping set of capacity 5 HP from deep tube well approx 50 RM column pipes , depositing the pump set in E/M store yard and dismantling of connected rising main i.e non return valve, bend etc from delivery of pump set, lifting of column pipe fixed with pumping set, unscrewing of column pipes from socket / flange cutting of welded strip unscrewing of cable holding clamps and disconnecting of submersible cable joint and lowering of new submersible pumping sets in deep tubewell including lowering of column pipe of size 80/100/150 mm dia by screwing with socket or fixing with flange, fixing of cable clamps etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, install, testing, commissioning Submersible motor and pump, Electric driven 415V, AC, 50 Hz, 3 Pole suitable for 250 mm dia bore well (casing pipe size 300/350 mm) complete of capacity not less than 45 HP/33.5 KW, suitable stage pump, stainless steel body, delivery pipe of suitable dia, discharge not less than 1800 LPM, at 90 metres head including provn of suitable size connecting piece/distance piece suitable to connect the pump with existing/new column pipe- 01 No necessary arrangement for welding/fixing with pump end set complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 2.50 above but suitable for 200 mm dia borewell capacity not less than 20 HP/ 15 KW, suitable stage pump set, outlet of suitable dia, discharge not less than 1600 LPM, at 80 metres head complete complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 2.50 above but capacity 5 HP/3.7 KW, suitable stage pump set, outlet of suitable dia, discharge not less than 300 LPM, at 60 metres head complete all as specified and directed.. Note for Ser No. 2.50 to 2.52: Cost of connecting ,lowering of submersible pump & motor with column pipe shall be measured and paid against respective ser items under 2.44 to 2.46 of BOQ.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:5:10 type E-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified.

Material and labour for cement plaster 15mm thick in CM(1:6) on fair faces of brick work and surface to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered or un-plastered surface of walls and applying three coats of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, in soft/ loose soil getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm watering and removing surplus earth to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surface complete all as specified.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of chain link fencing MS galvanized of 4.0 mm dia of wire and 100x100 mm square size including line wires, rails, straining bolts etc including, binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description not exceeding 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing conforming to Fe 410-W Gde E-250 quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Butt hinge, of size 65mm, heavy weight, cold rolled mild steel, and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Mild steel sliding door bolts, plate type, stove enamelled black, with bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate and fixed 300mm length complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of glow distribution diagram of water supply lines including showing of 38 Nos Pump houses complete with booster pumps, Borewells,OHT,UG sumps etc comprising of printing of complete distriubution diagram on vinyle sheet weather proof and pasting the same on bakelite sheet 3mm thick(min) of size 8' x 10' x 4" fixed on MS frame of size 8' x 10' x 4" made out of square MS pipe of size 25mm x 25mm. All LEDs on different water supply lines, Pump houses, booster pumps, Borewells, OHT, UG sumps etc to be shown for complete water supply of station and independent circuits controlled through suitable copper wound transformers,diaodes and capacitor and through toggle switches on all circuits complete prewired with PVC insulated copper conductor wire 3 core, 40/0.0076 size of required/ suitable length and one top plug 3 pin 5 Amps, including fixing the same at AGE E/M sub divn on wall and including all fixing material required complete all as specified and directed.
